And you can never go wrong w a smoked salmon bagel! We will definitely be back when in the area! Staff was attentive, nice and the atmosphere was great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We liked this place so much, we ate here twice during a long weekend in Austin. Everything we tried was excellent, from the baked goods to the salsa. Some of the best vegetarian fare I’ve ever had, and I’ve been veggie for nearly 25 years. Gracious, friendly service. Can’t recommend enough!!“

“Placed a special order for a Valentine's cake that is probably the best chocolate cake I've ever had in my life - their bakery is fantastic! The cake did arrive a day after I thought I'd requested it for so this could've been my mistake. The delivery fee also seemed a little high BUT the cake made it absolutely worth it. So so yummy, highly recommend.
We also have Patika come to our office once a month for taco catering. We consistently have 300+ people that love their tacos and eat them every month. No complaints for the tacos, bagels, or any other baked goods they make - it's all delicious!“

“I’m not a fan of the way they asking you for tips. Only 18% 20% 22% and custom option on the screen to enforce you give some tips. Giving you pressure to not press CUSTOM button. You need to order a coffee while standing in the line, take the drink by yourself and return the cup by yourself. Then what’s the tips for? I prefer to go to Starbucks than visiting small business asking for tips like this. Drinks are okay. BTW no free parking.“

“Great spot for a morning coffee/breakfast. Perfect post-run fuel. The staff behind the counter were very kind, and the patio is a welcome place to enjoy a little downtime. Migas taco and potato taco were delicious, and the latte was fantastic!“
“What an amazing place that we always enjoy. The food is 5-Star and we were lucky to catch the Founder-Johnny Nicholas. We be Rollin’ and Tumblin’ Friday night!“

“This was a great stop for brunch on a Sunday morning. Wasn’t sure I would be able to get in but the staff was great about finding a comfortable and enjoyable place for a solo visitor on a busy day.
Menu was great, I picked a couple that sounded great and the server steered me at the Alamo Benedict.
The food looked amazing and fresh and tasted even better.
I will surely be returning next time I am in town.“

“I will be completely honest— I was originally extremely skeptical of this place. I’ve noticed a trend in Austin recently where private, for-profit ventures have been co-opting naming conventions commonly used for public space/community ownership/places for people to gather that don’t require spending money (like community garden, assembly hall, public goods, etc). But I really think they’re doing the best they can to foster a sense of community. They do a lot of programming that is free and accessible, like doodling nights. The space, both indoor and outdoor, is really beautiful. I sometimes come on the weekends to read in the morning and there are always at least 3 or 4 other people doing the same thing. The no laptop policy after 5 is awesome in my opinion. In the past few years, Austin coffee shops have become a cacophony of people taking work calls which is infuriating, inconsiderate, and distracting. It’s amazing that this place offers a respite from devices. And I haven’t tried the evening menu but am excited to!
To the person who complained about parking— unless you want community garden to tear down another local business and build a parking lot, the best option is probably for people to park using the ample street parking (which is public). I live in a neighborhood next to a bunch medical offices and people are constantly parking in front of my house, but the reality is that I am not any more entitled to that public space than someone else just because it’s in front of my house. Austin is growing and ideas/the culture around entitlement to parking spaces need to change“

“Best coffee in Austin! We were stoked with our flat whites and extra shot caps. And vegemite toast!! I love BBQ but sometimes you just need that little taste of home. What more could an Aussie and Austin ask for?“

“We had the drip coffee, their version of Vietnamese coffee, the anchovy and garlic toast, and the sake onigiri. The drip was okay, it was not bad but also not amazing. Kind of bland. Their version of Vietnamese coffee was pretty good which is a win since many non-Vietnamese places really struggle with that. The food was disappointing. The anchovy and garlic toast does not have anchovies, just anchovy oil, which is kind of misleading. It tasted fine, kind of like Texas Toast, but I wanted some salty anchovies on there. The sake onigiri was very skimpy on the salmon. Both especially disappointing for the price too.
Service was okay. No one was in line and no one said anything to me for a few minutes while I stood at the register even though they saw me.
I liked the atmosphere. Fun and somewhat retro aesthetic. Overall, I would maybe come to get some work done or to meet up with someone since the space is nice, but I wouldn't be back to just pop in for coffee or a bite to eat.“

“Eberley made the absolute best Iced Bennu with pecan flavor. I asked her what the most popular iced coffee is and voila. WOW. I am making this my new meeting spot with friends - your 2001 East MLK location. Stay great and see you all soon! PS: I am a coffee snob and when I tell you this iced coffee was amazing, well, it was (smile). Great way to kickstart the day.“

“I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and it was delicious! I’ve had their chicken quesadilla which was really yummy as well.
I like that they use focaccia bread, it takes the flavor to another level. The chicken slices are on the thin side for the price, but that makes it easier to eat and enjoy with the bacon and additions (lettuce, tomatoes and onions), it’s more like a panini sandwich since it’s all grilled.
Very tasty, highly recommended!“

“I got a drip coffee with soy milk and my fiancée got a vanilla latte. My coffee was good, a little cooler than I usually prefer but the quality of the beans more than made up for it. My fiancées latte was quite possibly the best latte either of us have ever had. Incredibly smooth and flavourful.
The ambiance and atmosphere was cozy and rustic, and the customer service was amazing. The baristas that served us were super fun and seemed to genuinely be having a good time.
NOTE; There are no tacos or "real food" at this location, there are pastries and a few fridge sandwiches. So if you're looking for a meal, check elsewhere. But if you want incredibly tasty coffee... here's your jam.“

“Austin has lost the art of quaint cosy coffee shops. Flightpath has not!! I kid you not I drove around to 5 different coffee shops all within the same area (Hyde park-ish) hoping to find a quiet coffee shop where I could SIT (crazy to think coffee shops have very limited sitting) and do some work. Most were either crazy loud, had no outlets, or had uncomfortable seating. Flightpath is doing it RIGHT in every single department. I was so thankful when I walked in and was able to quickly find seating, no line to get coffee, and found easy access to an outlet. Thank you so much Flightpath, you’ve gained a customer for life! My ONLY complaint is the parking situation, it’s very limited.“

“The Strawberry matcha latte, cold brew slushy, banana pudding matcha latte, and cereal milk latte were sooo good. The line was long but went by fast. Pricing for these drinks were on the higher end since we subbed regular milk for alternative options. Would come back again!“

“We came here to visit since it’s listed as one of the highlights of the downtown area.
We weren’t disappointed, but definitely underwhelmed! The coffee is good, but it is severely overpriced and the building/surrounding outdoor spots are really gross and messy. Public bathrooms are available but they are more gross than a gas station.
Would recommend another coffee shop if you come to visit, only thing worth seeing is the famous “I love you so much” wall.“

“Celeste, Paige, and Natalie were super friendly, warm, & knowledgeable and all the items that were carried in the coffee shop. They made the transactions, smooth and enjoyable. That was the first time I came to the coffee shop portion and actually did not feel rushed and very welcomed. Kudos, but still so willing to work.“

“I love Ethiopian food and some of the dishes here were good, but there are others that were just not as good as some of the other restaurants. I like the injera when it’s a little bit more sour, and this was a little bit under fermented for my taste. And maybe this was just the lunch menu, but it seemed like they didn’t have as much in the way of variety as some of the other restaurants. And there was only one combo, which was a veggie combo. It would be nice to be able to order a combination meal with both veggie and meat dishes. The service was great and the people were very friendly. There’s a market next-door, which has East African staples which is kind of fun to walk around in since I lived in East Africa for a few decades, but overall as an Ethiopian restaurant, I would say there’s some other places that I would probably prefer, if for no other reason than the larger variety of dishes.“

“The barista designing the recipes is a flavor genius. We tried his summer seasonal latte, the Plantain Tropicana & it was breathtaking... you won't find something like that anywhere else. We will be rushing back for his fall seasonal drink, and every drink after. The coffee shop itself is so modern and beautiful, a perfect work environment. Hidden Austin Gem.“
