Airport reviews are always tough because you know everything's overpriced to begin with. But let's give it a go. Tried this place Vino Volo at the Austin TX airport. Service was excellent. The waitresses were very kind of professional. The atmosphere was a very relaxing, huge wine selection and overall calming vibe in a hectic airport. Had an hour to kill before a flight, and I opted to try the little in-airport wine bar Vino Volo. I had the Brie & Prosciutto sandwich with melted brie, arugula, and fig jam on toasted ciabatta (with a side arugula salad). It was truly delicious, flavorful, and hit the spot. I paired it with a glass of a German Riesling which I think was a great choice. So many times I've walked by Vino Volo at so many airports without even giving them a thought... ... until now. Hubbers and I were flying back to California and just so happen this particular spot was practically right next to our gate. SO! With a bit of time to burn, why not. He got a glass of wine.
