“Holy cow!! I’m rarely surprised to find a new gem in Austin. We have so many, but I feel like I rarely find a new “something special.” Well, I found a new gem today at Casa Bianca!
Not only was the service amazing (shout out to Richie!), but the drink, FOOD, entire service crew (from runners to servers to host to chef!!), and atmosphere were all Michelin-caliber. The chef even came out to chat with us (he saw me literally lick the plate it was so the food was so good!).
The risotto was my favorite of the night if I was forced to pick, followed closely by those chicken wings (I almost got them for “dessert” but was too full). But genuinely, an exquisite evening from top to bottom!!
Sorry my photos aren’t the best. I was too excited to eat!!“

“Had a great experience at Bar AC with Jerome being our bartender. He took extra time and care to make our favorite cocktails and even recommended some he thought we would like. Tried the blood orange margarita and it was excellent. Thank you Jerome for making our Friday evening that much more special.“

“I typically find wine bars a little intimidating and standoffish. With LoLo, pleasantly, you get the exact opposite experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The service helpful and friendly, but not pushy; everyone is eager and excited to help you find a fantastic food and wine pairing. The snacks are perfectly simple and delicious. I went with sparkling wine because we were celebrating, and I’ve never had such interesting and dynamic selections. 😋“

“We had such a great experience tonight! Kawthar was an amazing server. She was attentive, patient with all of our questions, and made sure everything came out just the way we wanted. She went above and beyond to make our birthday girl feel celebrated, and it truly made the night special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests she’s serving. Thank you, Kawthar, for making our evening so memorable — we’ll definitely be back!“
“Five stars! Can't wait to join the club at Cape Bottle Room's NEW SAN ANTONIO spot on Broadway-these South African wines have me hooked. Arrived at the East Austin original and instantly felt at home in that clean, minimalist vibe, all focused on beautiful wines that ditch the snobbery for straight-up joy. Sipped a crisp Chenin Blanc flight while chatting with the super knowledgeable staff-no hard sell, just pure passion for vibrant flavors. And here's the real win: Every single bottle had a clear price tag right there, no guesswork or shady markups. In a city where too many wine bars play games with pricing, this transparency is gold-gives me total confidence knowing I'm getting fair treatment, same as everyone else. Snapped some pics and grabbed a bottle of a bold Pinotage for the road, under forty bucks. If you're in San Antonio make this your go-to-local, honest, oh-so-refreshing. Cheers! 🍷“

“Decent wine selection by the glass and bottle. Outdoor, covered seating is a plus, so bring your pup. The pizza has a nice crunch to the crust and is available by the slice or as a whole pie. It's decent but not the best in town as some have stated. The Ceasar Salad is a very large portion for $14. Nice and refreshing in such hot weather. We will probably come back to try some other pizzas. The staff is attentive and friendly and keep the restaurant pretty clean.“

“The barista designing the recipes is a flavor genius. We tried his summer seasonal latte, the Plantain Tropicana & it was breathtaking... you won't find something like that anywhere else. We will be rushing back for his fall seasonal drink, and every drink after. The coffee shop itself is so modern and beautiful, a perfect work environment. Hidden Austin Gem.“
“With the largest selection of wines on tap, there is something for everyone!“

“Cute vibes, and a different take on Korean food.
Food: we had the fried chicken, seasonal salad, and the wagyu. When looking around.. sooo many people had the fried chicken and our server told us they were known for their fried chicken and wagyu steak- which is why we got both. The fried chicken was a bit of a letdown for me. It was dry, wasn’t that crispy, and the flavor wasn’t out of this world- just tasted like toasted seaweed because of the nori flakes. Idk… just didn’t get the hype for $36 for a very small half bird. The wagyu was good tho, if not a bit sweet. Think bulgogi sauce marinaded. They had a great dipping sauce, but the meat wasn’t particularly tender and I wasn’t even asked what temperature I like my steak. It came out med rare. The kimchi that accompanied it was a cantaloupe kimchi.. which was ok, not my fav. The side pear salad tho was delicious, but still.. $18 for a side of pears and cucumbers.
Atmosphere was good. Very vibey and cute.
There’s a parking garage connected and they validate parking.“

“The staff is so nice. I got the sliders(2) this second time I was here for HH and they're very decently priced(along with the rest of the HH) and they're really good. The first time i was here, I had the short ribs which were "off menu" but that was cooked perfectly as well. The bar area is huge, I do know it can get packed later in the night!“

“Add this place to your must stops. Great location, feral vibes, and unhinged music (aka best music)! This place is the place you want to drink yummy wines, hangout with friends/family, and enjoy life! I came to Austin to surprise a long distance friend for her birthday and we ended closing FHW down. Owners are very friendly and kind. Atmosphere is relaxed, classy with a splash of feralness. It hits the spot every time.“

“Lovely spot. I liked the water carafe per table, and the flame was real. Laid back atmosphere-some larger tables, some smaller ones, and was lively but not too loud (I was able to read). The focaccia was fluffy and lightly flavored, Brussel sprouts flavorful, crunchy, and had a touch of salt. Tiramisu was unconventional, but I liked it. Rachel was lovely server-very nice, knowledgeable of the menu, and had great timing. They had a small bar, high top I believe, and a mix of tables and booths. Outdoor seating as well on the patio.“

“We had a great time and excellent meal at Bar Toti last night before a show at the Bass Concert Hall. Smashburguesas, chicken piccata, and bistro steak were all so tasty. Their French fries are perfect, and so are the cocktails. We appreciated our waiter being conscientious about the clock so that we could get to our show on time. We'll definitely come back when we can enjoy a more leisurely meal.“

“We hosted our company holiday event here last night and the entire process from beginning to end was above and beyond amazing! Kristi and Avi did a phenomenal job with helping me plan the event. With certain dietary restrictions they were super accommodating to all requests and even did more than asked for or expected. Our server, Matthew, and the rest of the crew did a phenomenal job with making sure all our guests were well taken care of. They knew every detail that I had previously talked about with Kristi. The food was amazing! Everyone at Capital Grille made our employee end of year celebration extra special and it was very much appreciated!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at III Forks in Austin, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was meticulously crafted and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delightful journey of taste, showcasing creativity and a deep passion for culinary excellence. What truly set III Forks apart, however, was the service. Our waiters not only exuded warmth and genuine hospitality but also possessed an extraordinarily impressive background knowledge of every item on the menu. Their detailed explanations and insightful recommendations made the dining experience even more enjoyable, as we felt truly connected to the story behind each dish. In an era where great service and exceptional cuisine are hard to come by, III Forks excels on every level. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Austin, this restaurant is a must-visit destination. The combination of delectable food and unparalleled service creates an ambiance that’s both inviting and sophisticated—a true testament to the culinary artistry of III Forks.“

“De nada is amazing!!!!! If you are looking for a Mexican place look no further and come to de nada. The queso, the salsa trio, and the Barbacoa taco… I would sell my first born for the barbacoa taco. The margs are very fresh and strong. Our server Jorge is the best server in the game. I would 10/10 recommend this fine establishment!“

“We went for a birthday last minute booking on a weekday. To our surprise they had a birthday card, flower rose petals and a nice balloon to kick off our dinner. Even with a toddler she found the experience wonderful and was amused by the selection of food. Although I've typically come for happy hour which I highly recommend an event dinning experience with a complementary caviar and slice of delicious cake was beyond my expectations of just enjoying my favorite bites to eat. The server also had great suggestions on wine. Knowledgeable and attentive service. By far continues to be one of my top Austin dining spots in town.“

“I will be completely honest— I was originally extremely skeptical of this place. I’ve noticed a trend in Austin recently where private, for-profit ventures have been co-opting naming conventions commonly used for public space/community ownership/places for people to gather that don’t require spending money (like community garden, assembly hall, public goods, etc). But I really think they’re doing the best they can to foster a sense of community. They do a lot of programming that is free and accessible, like doodling nights. The space, both indoor and outdoor, is really beautiful. I sometimes come on the weekends to read in the morning and there are always at least 3 or 4 other people doing the same thing. The no laptop policy after 5 is awesome in my opinion. In the past few years, Austin coffee shops have become a cacophony of people taking work calls which is infuriating, inconsiderate, and distracting. It’s amazing that this place offers a respite from devices. And I haven’t tried the evening menu but am excited to!
To the person who complained about parking— unless you want community garden to tear down another local business and build a parking lot, the best option is probably for people to park using the ample street parking (which is public). I live in a neighborhood next to a bunch medical offices and people are constantly parking in front of my house, but the reality is that I am not any more entitled to that public space than someone else just because it’s in front of my house. Austin is growing and ideas/the culture around entitlement to parking spaces need to change“
