“What a hidden gem. Inside the "whip in" is this wonderful family owned boba tea and dessert shop. Delicious waffles and boba, I highly recommend that you stop in if you have a sweet tooth. They also sell lotto here if you're about that life?? the shop owner was just delightful. She had our drinks out to us in no time. Be warned though the other desserts are super addicting, you may find yourself going back everyday once you start.“

“Urban Vines is of my favorite places to enjoy great food and great wine. The specials are always great. Lots of nights there is live music. The patio is fun with the fireplace and is dog friendly. The owner is also the chef and he cares deeply about quality - it shows. This is one of the best little locally owned spots in east Dallas.“

“Found another Mesquite, introvert-friendly gem.Loved the Cheese Danish, especially warmed up.According to cafe-keeper, a quiet space overall.'Hustle and Bustle': 7-10***Quiet hours***: 12-7There is a cub corner, for children, so occasionally it will get lively, but rarely. Especially since most are back in school.Nice place to journal, work, or take a breather~Downtown Mesquite, so if you need some space and peace to work in or during the lunch hour, would definitely recommend ?Parking: Be sure to park in the lot across the street. Watch the signs, because the lot is one way only.Interesting menu -Recommend the Grizzly, a spiced latteNext time I'll probably try the Black Bear - a Mocha LatteThey have seasonal flavors to explore, another reason to come often, even if just to see what's up ☺️“

“Last night, the three of us (myself, spouse and teenage daughter) had a wonderful evening at Mot Hai Ba. It was a special occasion (birthday). We had three appetizers (kimchee rice balls were exceptional). Of the three entrees, the chicken curry was delicious, shaking beef was very good, but the foie gras dumplings were only okay. Excellent service and cocktails. We will go back!“

“I've been to Juju's a few times now and every experience has been wonderful!! The baristas are super friendly, there's always easy street parking, and drinks are crafted in a timely manner with care! The baristas usually ask about my day and offer up some friendly small talk while making the drinks if it's not too busy which is nice! I've tried a handful of drinks off their menu - for seasonal offerings I've enjoyed the spooky latte (mocha with charcoal) in the fall and Maverick (blackberry sage americano) in the winter. However, my favorite is probably one of their specialty drinks, the Otis latte (brown sugar/vanilla/oat)! There are a few small tables inside and outside if you want to enjoy your beverages there, but I usually take them to go (and they provide stoppers with their awesome logo so you can safely transport your beverage without spilling)! I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back!!“
“This company hands down has the best street tacos I have ever eaten. They were very accommodating and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Couldn’t say enough positive things about them. They made my 50th birthday party at our Lakehouse the best ever!,,“

“Go support Latin Deli, at the corner of Northwest Highway & Abrams (by ALDI). If you don’t know about this place, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! It’s right under your nose but most people pass it daily and have no idea, as it’s a bit tucked away. Everything on the menu is phenomenal, I kid you not. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner they got you covered. I’ve had a lot of their menu but every time I go I cannot not order their chicken sandwich. I don’t know what the hell they put in there but it is heaven in my mouth, every time. And it comes with their seasoned fries which are sweet potatoes dusted with crack (aka great seasoning sweet/spicy) with an awesome aioli dipping sauce.Go try it out and try to prove me wrong.Support independent local companies that make a good product. Spend your dollars where it counts!!“

“Update 03.08.24:Reserved their party room for my 50th birthday. It was chaotic with so many people, but the manager (Nikki - sp?) Did a fantastic job. If you need a space for about 25 people, it's perfect. They even had a live band that sang Happy Birthday to me! Great way to ring in 50 years!Food was delicious and our server was attentive, despite it being a very busy afternoon. This is where my now-husband first showed interest in me a year and half ago, and now we're married, so it was nice to be back and remember that night.“

“The perfect breakfast and lunch spot! In our world of expensive brunches and trendy sandwiches, it's nice to have a place that is affordable and goes back to the basics. Service is quick and friendly, perfect for grabbing stuff on the go. If you want something nice, filling, and not breaking the bank, this is a perfect spot for busy workers who forgot their lunches and families with picky eaters alike.“

“I've always loved Kellers. They have excellent service & great food. And you can enjoy a beer or two along with your meal. Kellers has been around for many, many years. I would say that they probably started up in the 1950s, although I can't say for sure. There's no place to dine in. You sit in your car and they bring Your order to you.“

“Randomly stumbled upon this place and was completely amazed by the wonderful food.Showed up to the city water department during their lunch hours, which forced me to find the closest restaurant in the interim. Found this cafe only three minutes away, and boy was I glad I stopped in. While walking up to the cafe, I was greeted outside by an employee. Walking in to the cafe, you notice how open and light filled everything is. I chose to sit outside on the patio since it was 72 degrees outside. They had big powerful fans to cool everything down for hotter Texas days. Loved that they grow their own produce on site on their own farm right behind the outdoor seating.I got the wagyu cheeseburger, cooked medium, with a side of chicken fried okra. Hands down the best okra I've ever had. Lightly fried to perfection! Burger was fresh and tasty. Had the swamp water tea which was really refreshing. Must get again next time I'm here. Super friendly employees and great waitstaff.I highly, highly recommend this place.“

“The food is amazing, but the service needs improvement. The staff's attitude, especially at the cashier, has been consistently poor. For instance, when I ordered six quesadillas and requested separate plates upon pickup, I was met with resistance. On a previous visit, trying to add to my order at 8:30 PM resulted in a cashier displaying attitude and refusing additional items. If the service matched the quality of the food, it would easily be a five-star restaurant.“

“The ideal spot to relax, have a beer, savor quality food, and unwind from the day's stress. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this place; I'm not sure why I hadn't come sooner. I highly recommend it! The homemade burger was exceptional, with a delicious grilled taste, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The service was on point!“

“Thick crust pizza with carmelized cheese on the edges and sauce on top?! Yes, please. It’s like a grown up version of the pizza chain I grew up on, but now with super fresh, high quality ingredients. My favorite order is the Connie + mushrooms + olives. I’m usually a Neapolitan style pizza fan, but this is the ultimate comfort food. It does take a little while to cook if you order on-site.“

“I ordered coffee at the wrong white rock coffee place. Yes, 100% my fault. They actually made me go to the other place which was across town to get the coffee. Starbucks would have never done that. That's why I went back to Starbucks.“

“First of all, how didn't I know about this place? This place is the cutest and did I mention, it has a farm? Not only is the place cute, but everyone is so welcoming, friendly and nice. Came here for lunch and ordered the chopped salad with grilled chicken. The salad was delicious. It had the most tender and nicely seasoned grilled chicken. The salad had a vinaigrette which was not overpowering and surprise, it had goat cheese. The creamiest most rich goat cheese. I also had the swamp tea, which I enjoyed and almost wanted to take home in a liter . Other people in my party had the chicken, meatloaf and it all was amazing!“

“Never disappoints. Located perfectly Between rodeo goat and zaap kitchen. This is the top of the triangle when it comes to best option. The bang for your buck healthy option. The owner is there sometime and he seems like a chill dude. I think he curates the music playlist when he’s around and I appreciate his musical tastes“

“Tried this place out because I was in the area and am always on the lookout for new coffee/pastry spot. It was pretty full of customers when I went in, but it was very cute and welcoming. I ordered a caramel macchiato with almond milk and an almond croissant. Foam was perfect, taste was perfect, temp was perfect, croissant was warmed up and also perfect :)“

“If you're a caffeine enthusiast like me, than Cultivar, and the Nitro Cold Brew is the crown jewel of their offerings. From the moment I took that first sip, I was transported to coffee paradise. The presentation alone is enough to make you snap a pic for your Instagram feed. The cascading, velvety swirl of coffee as it pours from the tap is pure artistry. And as for the taste? Exceptional. It's smooth, bold, and has just the right touch of sweetness. The nitrogen infusion takes the coffee experience to a whole new level. The ambiance at Cultivar is just as pleasing. It's a cozy space with a welcoming vibe, perfect for getting some work done. The staff here is super friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee offerings. They were happy to answer my questions and make recommendations.“

“A group of us had brunch there this morning. It was my first time but won’t be my last. Even though we hadn’t made a reservation they were able to seat our group of 7 promptly. We were outside, weather was beautiful & the patio is lovely. I had the omelette special which was eggs with crème fraiche & dill inside & beet marinated smoked salmon on top. Presentation was beautiful & the taste did not disappoint. Others in the group had the turkey cranberry avocado sandwich, sweet potato pancakes, chicken tortilla soup & all said their food was delicious. A couple also had sides of grits which I tasted. I’m a grits girl & these were spot on! Becky was our server & she was attentive without hovering which was very nice also. She told us if we came back for dinner to come on Thursdays when wine is 1/2 price for bottles.Wheelchair accessibility: It seemed as if it would be accessible, I use a cane & had no problem. I didn’t need the restroom so I can’t speak to that.“

“This may be our new go-to for shows at Music Hall (right across the street)! The mezcal flight was very interesting - it was cool to taste differences in regions and distillation styles. The chicharrones were good and the fresh guacamole was great! I loved my tacos de lengua y carnitas and I even got my wife to eat some lengua before I told her what it was ?. She got a margarita and it was good. I got La Reigna, a sotol based drink with grapefruit and ginger, and it was great! All in all, great experience, and we will absolutely return!“
“Green Spot is a gas station, yes, but inside is a hidden gem. The Taqueria makes the best tacos in Dallas! I have tried all the tacos and they are all great. My favorite is the Veggie taco (see photo). It is so flavorful and hearty trust me, you wont miss the meat (see ingredientson photo). (A little known fact it's a bit faster since there's no meat to cook.) The staff is nice and friendly. There is an important note here, that is you order and take your yellow copy to the gas station side, grab a drink and whatever else you might need and pay, then bring your yellow slip back after it's stamped and when your food is ready, place the yellow slip in the basket along with your tip. Don't forget to tip these folks work hard! :) Enjoy your lunch (or breakfast).“

“Had an amazing dinner at this place today! The staff made me feel incredibly welcome right off the bat, setting the stage for a fantastic meal. I went for the crispy beef, and it did not disappoint—crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and just packed with flavor. It's clear they know what they're doing with Asian cuisine. In short, great vibes, amazing food, and I'm definitely coming back for more.“

“Lower rating only because there was just one super dude forced to be bartender, wait staff and maintenance. Food was quite good for a pub and reasonably priced. The French dip sandwich was real tasty. The chicken pesto pasta bowl also tasty and plentiful. A might cold. It was a Saturday about 3 in the afternoon. At least one more employee would of been appreciated by customers and the lone super dude. Overall nice place.“

“I stopped at this location after I finished shopping at Walmart. The sign in the window caught my eye. Bacon Chipotle Cheesesteak. I was surprised when this bubbly young lady greeted me as my first foot stepped in. I ordered she explained the combo pricing, the lemonade pricing and if I wanted to add extra on my sandwich besides what came on it. I'm not sure if she could tell I hadn't eaten here before or she was nice all the time. The sandwich was perfect. Moist, fresh bread no toasted to hard. Chicken juicy and the onions which I just recently started eating on sandwiches was grilled just right. The chipotle ranch sauce is sooooo good. Thank you for a nice experience at this location“
