“Our first visit. This is definitely a family business watching every penny. Nothing wrong with that at all. GREAT food. Very hot when served. Huge menu choices! On the other hand, napkins thinner than kleenex and no bigger than your palm. 4% upcharge if you're using a card. Margaritas? There's no bar, so they come from a slushy machine. Avoid. Overall, we will return knowing now what to expect. Mendoza's is probably the best Tex-Mex in Bandera.“

“On our way home from a bible study, we ordered 4 bacon and egg breakfast tacos, and when we got there saw the "Cash Only" sign in the window. Oh, know! I don't normally have much cash on hand and didn't have any this morning. Martine said take the tacos and when you come by sometime I could pay him. Martine doesn't even know me but trusted I would come back. I had a Home Depot Gift Card with $18 )left on it so I gave it to him and told Martine I would be back to pay for my tacos and would do just that. He was so gracious and didn't need to let me have those tacos. We took them home and they were very good the tortillas were so full of eggs and a lot of bacon in each taco we will definitely come back again“

“Love coming here for breakfast. It’s always awesome. Today, I got to come for lunch. Had the enchilada ranchera plate. BEST enchiladas I’ve ever had! Sooo good! Made my husband sweat it was so good, lol. The salsa is so good I could drink it.
Service is always excellent as well. Hands down favorite Mexican food in this area.“
