“This is probably my favorite Mexican food place of all. I recommend the roasted pork and charro beans as a must. The queso is not extra so get it on your bowl to. It's some of the best.

“Food is always great. (I particularly like the chicken enchiladas and the veggie fajitas) and we’re glad to see them back open after renovating. That said in the main dining area they removed these sort of booth surrounds and now it’s one big room with concrete floors and a metal ceiling and the decibel reading on a full Saturday night was averaging in the low seventies with frequent spikes in the 80s. For someone with some hearing issues it was pretty much impossible to carry a conversation or be confident the server heard my order. My suggestion is to sit out side of there is room if the weather is nice.

They had a full house that night, December 23, with multiple large parties. Staff was moving around, making sure that everything was going well at their tables.

It took longer than the manager expected to get my meal ready. I have worked food service and appreciated how quickly I was accommodated. Busy nights like this can easily turn into nightmares. If there were any nightmares, they stayed behind closed doors.
