“Absolutely amazing place! Great drinks“
“My sister and I were looking for the best place to go to get the best Bloody Mary in Texas. We didn’t care how far we had to drive. We came from Florida to see the Chris Stapleton concert and were new in town. So we looked on google for the nearest bar that was open at 10:00 am. Guess what popped up???? MARIE REDS BAR!!
Let me tell you, CANDI held up to her name in the reviews that we read! The best bartender in town!
I have to say, when we, little uptown girls, pulled up at this little off the grid bar, we were a little put off, but when we went in…. Candi made us feel so welcomed and was so friendly as were her other guests. She was SHOCKED to hear we found her on Google! Which made it more exciting! We quickly hit it off! As other guests came in, Becky and Ashley, (in the photos above) we all instantly made lifelong friends. We learned Ashley was going to the same concert we were. Becky upgraded our room without hesitation and simply said “Welcome to Texas”. We all became family. It was the most amazing experience of our life! It was all through Google that we found this little beautiful bar that made a HUGE difference in our lives. Thank you Candi, Becky and Ashley for being true Texans with that beautiful Texas hospitality. Love and peace always Rhonda and Denise.“

“Fantastic dinner tonight, Donny was attentive and our server Tong was fantastic! Great knowledge of the food and drinks and pleasant conversationalist! The Bao Bao starter was our favorite of the night, and our sushi was delicious and served quickly. The Adult Movie cocktail was a quirky choice (served with a small side of popcorn!) that I was pleasantly surprised by its smoky but citrus taste! The strawberry shooters with infused whipped cream were refreshing for dessert. We definitely plan to come back soon to try more!“

“I hadnt been in this place in a while. came in and found out that the manager had retired which was a bummer she was very nice attentive and friendly. Whomever they put in her place needs training on how to treat customers she was very rude but friendly to what I assume were regulars It took about ten minutes to get my first drink after that I was not acknowledged at all. Needless to say I will not return.“

“The GM is a mad scientist with limoncello—blood orange, grapefruit, lime, and many others, all made in-house with fruit from local farmers’ markets. They even make cocktails with them. Try the Grandma’s Pizza and the Wikki Chicken Pasta, and enjoy the live piano music. Finally, tip well—or don’t go.“

“Very impressive for an airport restaurant. Generally speaking, food and service are similar to their regular restaurant locations which seems to never be the case with airport restaurants. They have gone out of their way to keep a solid menu and a full bar as well as the feel of a restaurant that is a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle upstairs. Highly recommended.“

“We live close to this restaurant and really wanted it to be good. A few years ago we tried it and the service was terrible and the food was mediocre. We decided to not go ago. However, we decided to give it one more try a few months ago and something has changed. We had such a positive experience that we are now almost every week! Not all the servers are excellent, but at least two of them are above average. We always ask for Rita. She is an amazing server! The food has improved also. I love the fish tacos and Toto's queso is wonderful.“

“Love the Volstead vibe! So nice to have an option that ISN'T the typical, run-of-the-mill dining experience with boring menu items. From the decor and atmosphere to the food and drink, they hit the target in offering a unique and memorable guest experience. The service is top-notch. Great place, so be sure to put it on your "must try" list.“

“The goat cheese arugula salad is amazing it's got just the right amount of fruit with a nice balsamic vinaigrette that really sets it off. also the Caprice flatbread is very good as well try them both add the rosemary chicken breast. But the highlight of the place is the bartender Sylvia she really sets the mood and makes me want to come back every time I'm there.“

“Very good!!! We got a combo and added an extra on of grab with the HAWT GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE and let me tell you… so flavorful and very hot. Prices are cheaper than other places I noticed. My margarita was strong and not too sweet and also very decently priced! Y’all have got to go try this place. Our server was Chloe and she was very attentive and sweet. ❤️10/10 will recommend!“

“We stopped by for a quick meal and were searching for high quality and protein. This place not only has tons of options but our service with EMANUEL was extraordinary. His knowledge of the menu, the food sourcing, and the preparation methods helped us deduce that our decision was a good one!
Food was incredible, and atmosphere was relaxed and luxurious.
At one point a guest knocked off one the table settings and the ramequins broke. EMANUEL jumped into action and said, “it’s okay, no problem, we will fix it,” to ease the guests discomfort with causing a calamity. The setting remained calm and peaceful thanks to his kind demeanor.
His work ethic and high level of customer service should be acknowledged by his team and management.“

“It is located in the DFW Sheraton. It's just off the lobby, so there were a lot of folks walking past our table. They did have e a few tables up nrmear the bar, and we probably should have sat there. The good was very good, and the server was fantastic.“

“Staying at the Hilton this week. Stopped in to this location for a quick bite and drink. Johnny was behind the bar and was genuinely excellent! Very attentive, kind, not pushy, and a wizard behind the bar. The best pomegranate cosmo I have ever had. Perfectly balanced and the pour was perfect! HIGHLY recommend stopping in to see Johnny.“

“I have passed this restaurant so many times throughout my life and never actually ate there until a couple of weeks ago. Their food is DELICIOUS! Maybe it's because I don't get out that often, or maybe I was just really in the mood for steak, but everything I had was absolutely wonderful! They have this tremendously tasty honey mustard salad dressing, and all I can say is it's the best I've ever had! And my steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I have zero complaints, aside from the fact that I ate way too much, lol! If you've never eaten here, I'd suggest trying it. They have so many options that weren't even seafood related, and their fries and steak and salad were wonderful! I will definitely be going back again!“

“Wish I had gotten the Birrara tacos. It comes with juice that you pour before eating and it was so yummy. No photos cause I stole it off my brothers plate. I had the shrimp and chicken tender tacos and they were good. Again, I wish I had gotten the chicken with Mac & cheese. Had a bitr of my brothers and it was also yummy. Lessons learned for my next visit.“

Everywhere else in the airports closed around 9pm but she graciously took care of the customers already at her bar and also told new potential customers they could have a quick one before closing. “We stopped in for lunch and ordered the pastor tacos. The onions had some small pieces of habanero that blended in and caught us off guard. Thankfully, we had cold beer to wash it down, or we might have been in trouble. The bartender was friendly and checked in on us often. Very good service. We will be back for more tacos and beer.“

“TBH when we attend we go for the margaritas! They are delicious! I managed to try the birria ramen. The portion was enough to satisfy the hungriest of men, and plenty of birria inside the bowl.
As of 1/23/25 margaritas are still good!
Parking: It's a huge lot no concerns about parking. Handicap parking in front of the entrance.“
