“Came for the lunch buffet, and so very happy we did! Although, I am a bit uncomfortable at the time of this writing.? EVERYTHING I had off the buffet was excellent although the tea and Naan were nothing to write home about. The service was kind and attentive, and the bathrooms clean and fresh. Plus, lots of good veggie options. It is a bit on the pricier side, our teas were $4 each and it was about $38 something for the 2 buffets, but we'lldefinitely be back!“

“We enjoyed a delightful selection of vegetarian dishes, including Mo:mo, Samosa, and Aalu Chop, all of which were exceptionally tasty. The service was efficient, with minimal wait times. The staff, particularly Mr. Pandey, were incredibly courteous and always wore a warm smile. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.“

“The food is absolutely delicious :)We shared veggie samosas, channa masala punjabi, saag paneer, baigan bhurta, garlic naan, onion kulcha & roti.Masala chai was very mild and not as spiced as I've had elsewhere, but still a nice way to end the meal.Vegetarian options: Tons of delicious veggie options! May not be vegan-friendly - I'd ask if dishes are prepared with ghee.“

“They really have 101 type of Partha in their Menu. I love their paratha. Lunch buffet is good option to try different parathas. For dinner time, I would prefer to go with friends or family to try different types of paratha, however this place has limited sitting so getting tables for large group could be a challenge. Over all I like their delicious paratha. I Would definitely keep going.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian paratha and sides. They can even accommodate Jain options upon request.“

“Ate here 2/18/24 in the later evening (8ish) we ordered Goat Curry, Chicken Tikka Quesadilla and Gurab Jamun. The order was out in about 10-15 minutes as expected. The goat curry was amazing! Super tender, with a wonderful flare of spice it was served with jasmine rice that was good too! The quesadillas were good. My husband really enjoyed them. I didn’t get to the dessert but will eat it later on! If you haven’t given this place a try you are missing out!“

“Our new favorite neighborhood restaurant! This place has an awesome selection on their menu as well as a high quality drink menu. Our Tikka Masala was spiced perfectly. Our only wish is that the sauce used on the spicy paneer would be available for the naan.“

“Just come and eat here. This is my second visit and I’m loving this place. The food here is amazing! Biriani, goat karahi, nihari, samosas — Everything I’ve tried has been tasty and fresh! The owner, Lala, was a gracious host. He’s very enthusiastic about his food. When speaking to him, he told me he wants to foster a place like Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Wonderful guy!“

“Homely, Tasty & authentic Indian food. This was the first time I tried NK foods. Had not read any reviews before, just wanted to give it a try and it turned out be just exceptional food. I ordered 5 items on a short notice, but it was done on time and more importantly one of the best tasting indian foods in the town in my opinion. A must try for anyone looking for authentic Indian food. Definitely will be trying again. Thanks!“

“We stumbled across this place and decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. We ordered challa punukulu and egg biryani, and both turned out great. They made a fresh batch of punukulu for us while we waited and also allowed us to taste a sample the murri mixture, which was nice- tangy and spicy. We also tried the Kona Seema egg biryani, which was served with a generous portion of egg and tasted very good. The person at the counter was super nice and friendly. We will definitely go back there and try some other dishes.“

“A wonderful place for late night food or to grab a drink. I love having access to a full-service restaurant open past midnight, especially one where all the food is so good. Supriya and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough.“

“Star India is a hidden gem in a plaza close to UTA. They offer a variety of selections on their menu. Vegetarian availabilities also included. This restaurant has been in business for decades and has the same great staff on hand. The meats are numerous with great sauces, and spice levels available. The appetizers and different Naan are great starters to an increasing and memorable India style cuisine. The curry lamb, chicken Tikka Makhni are superb and very flavorful. Try the chai tea as a finisher. Janeep is a great waitress with an unlimited amount of Indian cuisine. You will not be dissapointed.“

“Must try !!! First time customers, we enjoyed every aspect. Customer service was superb. Food was delicious and spicy (but in a good way). The restaurant was clean, we were the only customers eating inside. Our waiter, Asumaki (pretty sure I spelled that wrong) was very polite and helpful with any question I had. Very soft spoken and sweet. The chef was very sweet as well. Both with welcoming smiles. Definitely coming back.“

“We've been waiting for our order of pani puri for about 30 minutes, and it seems the person in charge is preoccupied elsewhere despite the lack of other customers. While everything else is satisfactory, this delay is concerning. Management should address this issue.“

“Food was delicious and service was great, but it was too pricey. I got the chicken biryani and it was over $15 (advertised on the menu as $13, but then they charged me extra for rice??? I believe that was an overcharge because biryani is just rice). The portion they gave me was enough for two people. They should offer smaller portions sizes at lower prices.“

“This place has been my favorite out of all the Indian food places I’ve tried before, the chicken tikka is delicious and it already comes with rice when you order it unlike other places that you have to pay for the rice also the garlic naan is amazing and the size is perfect for someone that loves bread as much as I do, people that work there are always welcoming and the food comes out fast and the quality of the food has always been great! Definitely recommend“

“Had the lunch buffet today. The good :- finally an Indian restaurant playing Indian classical music in the background rather than the Bollywood stuff.- very good tandoori chicken- great palak but needed more paneer and dunno why all restaurants insist on adding cream to that dish. Was good anyway- they give you fresh naan. That’s the only way to have .The Bad:- the goat curry was mediocre and the meat was very chewy . Needed more cookingOverall good experience. I ll be back“

“High quality, delicious, and kind servers. Everything I've had here is excellent, but the lamb vindaloo with medium heat is a strong favorite. The chicken masala and goat masala are also great choices, along with garlic naan and a drink. A great place to share a variety of entrees with people!“

“I’ll be back but rarely do you get a solid 5. :) 4.5 easy. Greta hot fresh food and slow on a Saturday night. Naan is great. Clean place and attentive staff. Neighborhood atmosphere. I ordered the cauliflower/potato dish forgot the name. Just spicy enough. Although they did charge me for the naan even tho it was supposed to come with it I let it go because of the military discount.“

“We had never tried Nepalese so we were very interested. We had a party of eight and one of our friends was grew up in Nepal. Restaurant was clean. Service was great and they were very willing to answer our questions having never tried before. Food was out very quickly during lunch on a Saturday. It got crowded after we arrived. We enjoyed everything and are looking forward to visiting again. Our Nepalese native was impressed by it also and compared to what Mom would cook.“

“I recently visited Rumali Restaurant and had a flavorful experience! The daal makhni was rich and bursting with spices, while the shami kabab transported me back to the streets of India with its freshness. Paired perfectly with soft rumali roti, it was a delight. However, the gallouti kabab fell short of expectations. Overall, great food and friendly service make this place worth a visit!“

“Owned and operated by a sweet couple, it can’t get anymore authentic than this! They were initially closed on the day we went but they accomodated our request for a tray of biryani in the last minute. They even gave us samosas while we waited.Cost-wise, it’s for sure a bang for your buck compared to the other Indian places we went to. This is our new go-to Indian restaurant.“

“Pressure Cooker momo was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! The server was attentive and helpful in explaining us the different kinds of pressure cooker momos. We ordereda pressure cooker momo with goat leg soup,a pressure cooker momo with local chicken soup anda pressure cooker momo with 2X spicy goat leg soup. The momos came in a huge plate-bowl.The soups were amazing and also come with 2 pieces of goat or chicken.Goat leg soup was amazing!!Local chicken soup was delicious!! 2X spicy goat leg soup on the other hand was just okay.Mostly has the timur-chhop flavor which completely overshadows the amazing goat leg soup flavor. But it’s still a good option for spice lovers. The portion was so huge. One plate pressure cooker momo and you’re done for the day.Your stomach is full, and you are a happy man.I also ordered a to-go order of the same thing a few days later, but the portion of the soup on the togo order was 1/4th of the soup on the dine-in order ?. Unhappy man.“

“Went on a road trip with my family to visit my uncle in Texas. It’s hard to find Indian cuisine especially on road trips, but this place was perfect. Found it right beside the highway, and was able to enjoy a nice Indian meal. The food, atmosphere and service was awesome. 10/10 would recommend!“
