“Casa Dominguez is one of my favorite places for a quiet, low-key quality meal. The roja and verde salsas are fresh and super good tasting, and the chips are always good, too. Their iced tea has the most generous lemon slice I've ever seen on a glass of tea, anywhere. I tried their pork and potato rollitos, really good.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door has a good ramp and staff has always been very helpful getting me seated.“
“I have to say the tacos in the food were delicious everything. I don't think anyone will complain on something that's has flavor. I'm thinking if this place has a long line. It's popular because of the good tasting food. They should do something about speeding up the line. But I guess Management has not thought about that. Has your business growth and it has more in more people coming. You should make plans to make the kitchen area larger with the buffet section larger. So you can have 2 extra servers. I'm assuming they made it investment in the parking lot next door which is huge and full of cars. Trust me this place is making money. Not complaining about the price, but this is not a dollar tacos. Those days are over. This location, and one Laredo on Patton Street street are making money. It would help if it also had a larger restroom to accommodate more than one person. It's a business not a home. I hope management reads this. And will maybe answer the review“
“Now this is the must go to weekend spot if you want to get out and about.Friendly staff and environment. They serve to all your needs. They have good drinks and good food and get it done! This is a good spot for friends, family, or a date.Always recommend!Keep in mind this is a walk-up spot, unless there's parking next to it available! But there's always parking in the parking garage!“
“Every time I can to the restaurant at Woodway location is a total delight, everyone is so attentiveJosé Santibañez always greets me with a very kind smile, Asahi was my server, and they all make us feel always so welcome!!Food is ALWAYS GREAT! it's always clean, the atmosphere is so calm and enjoyable every time!!“
“I was around the area and stumbled upon this small yet eye catching restaurant. My expectations were low but I was quickly proven wrong once I ordered the enchiladas. OMG! My life was changed. I highly recommend Raizee for anyone around the area. 10/10! ??️“
“10/10 I highly recommend!!! Mr. Alfredo is a very honest and genuine man. He was up front and told us his food portions are big, never have I been to a place that was honest enough to tell us that. Other places want you to over order because they want the money, but not here, the food was beyond what we expected and them churros were amazing!!! We will definitely be back! Thank you Mr. Alfredo!“
“Everything has been so great I love the service. The food is stupid good. Victor the bartender server was in charge of our table and his service was impeccable! Make sure to order the brussels sprouts!! They are so so great Cyclone Anayas has some of the greatest tex mex food I have ever had.“
“I ordered El Sombrero. I live close to the border. So I know mexican food. When I go away from on vacation, 99% of the time mexican restaurants are not good. BUT Pappasito was so great it moved to my #1 food restaurant to eat. The fajita broke easy. The rice and bean are great. Avocado and piccolo de Gallo were good and fresh. cheese enchilada was not drowned in the sauce that it overpowered the enchilada like other places. Chips and salsa were great that even my daughter was eating. With every bit, my taste buds were going crazy. Restaurant is actually very big than what it looks like. Again, this is my #1 restaurant. I haven't tried delivery or to go because it never tastes the same with all the food mix, and depending on how long it gets to, you might get dry and soggy. I recommend eating there. Whoever the chiefs were last night, March 14 2024. All I can say is, wow. Bravo.“
“Miguel is a legend. Quick service with a smile and a joke, not to mention great recommendations. Will definitely be coming back to the Cyclone Anaya’s on shepherd because of him. Much thanks to the chefs as well, carne asada was absurdly good!“
“We are regular customers. Usually everything is consistently good with food and service but today the young lady greeting guests at the host stand was awful. She was probably new and she was not friendly or smiling at all. I can appreciate a new employee but it does not take training to be friendly and smile with people arriving for dinner. I did not get her name but she was the host greeting people Wednesday evening March 6th around 6:00pm.“
“I have been coming to Lopez Mexican restaurant for over 30 years. This is the first time that my waiter was very unattentive to my needs and slow. I received dirty plates at my table. I had to wait for 25 minutes to get my waiters attention. There were others who came in after us and received the Lopez PROPER experience. We were constantly dismissed as guest in the restaurant and this REALLY breaks my heart that I was treated SO horribly. I can only hope it's gets better.“
“I decided come by and try Mi Tierra as it is around the corner from my office in the up and coming Oak Forest neighborhood. When you first walk in you are greeted by very friendly staff. There were a few other tables enjoying their meals already, but was able to be sat with my party right away. We ordered the "award winning" tacos al pastor as well as the mahi mahi fish taco's. Both were great choices. Light and refreshing the perfect amount of taste. Paired with Mi Tierra margarita. The meal was satisfying. I wish I would have come in sooner. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.“
“Sad to say that I have worked in the area for years and I never thought of coming here but my friend asked me to lunch so I finally got the chance to go. I was missing out! I had the ceviche which was absolutely delicious and a margarita which was STRONG but delicious. Loved it so much we went the next day and got a bit too drunk off the margaritas for Happy Hour lol which I haven't done in years but it was awesome! Definitely coming back but now I'll have to watch myself cause these margaritas are deliciously dangerous! Haha“
“Really cool spot, love the atmosphere, really creative outdoor seating. The food was excellent, corn tortillas are some of the best I've had. The nachos were piled high and were not light on toppings. The salsas were good, I plan to return and try more of the menu. The photos don't do it justice but the setting was very cozy. The server was very friendly, very nice bar if you're a drinker.Kid-friendliness: They have some activities for kids.“
“I spent a lil more than the usual person because I like to eat ? I got tacos, queso (with beef) and I've had their shrimp tostada's. They never let me down with their food, it's good, juicy, flavorful and makes me feel good when I eat it?✨“
“Pappasito's NEVER fails to exceed expectations! Great original location with a wonderful vibe. Staff are top notch and food is, too. Veggie options do exist and are delish! Did I mention the drink flights??? ??Vegetarian options: Had them make me a veggie quesadilla and we split their amazing, freshly made guacamole. If you've never had it, you haven't lived!!! ??“
“This was the 2nd time I stopped by to have a drink and have something to eat. The young lady I spoke to 1st some what just blew me off and ask me to take a seat at the bar. Now the young man that assisted me was named Michael and he was awesome and made up for how I felt when I 1st ask for a place to sit and enjoy myself there. This place is a good place to relax and enjoy some great food and refreshments. And usually the staff is very helpful to each person enjoy their time there. Thank you brother Michael for improving my time with your outstanding customer service while I sat at the bar instead of a booth. Mr. K. R. Bishop and family.“
“I’ve eaten here several times, and have always loved it! Jorge was our server today and he was awesome! Very attentive!I particularly like the cheese enchiladas and tamales. They are one of the only Mexican restaurants that still use the ole chile-based brown gravy on their enchiladas and tamales! And the Margaritas are phenomenal! Try this place!“
“The food and service at this spot was one point and a great find in my neighborhood. I've driven past here thousands of times and never knew what I was missing out on. Went for breakfast and had the Migas plate, the portion was perfect and spiced to perfection. The coffee was fresh and hot and I didn't have to ask or wait for refills. This place is completely no frills and really low key, after enjoying my first of many meals there I can see why they have outlasted many of the concepts that continually come and go in the area.“
“Multiple vegetarian and plant based options. Fajitas and Portobello tacos both really good with fresh ingredients. Definitely would come back and recommend. Gluten free menu and vegetarian menu. Tons of other options too. Homemade tortillas too. Service was friendly and great.Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free menu“
“First time in as we try a new Mexican restaurant every Tuesday with wifey and the neighbors. WOW! TOP 10 BEST FAJITAS and queso and beans and rice. WOW! Super fast service! WOW! Great margheritas! Great job guys! I'm impressed! And half price fajitas!“
“Hector was a fabulous waiter. He was attentive, kind, and even brought me very small samples of the mole! Both moles I had were soooo good that I ended up getting food with both lol. The food was temperature hot, flavorful, and came out quicker than expected.Mango Margarita topped with grand marnier was mid and not strong after a long day of cleaning lol, I'll try a different next time. Yes, there will be a next time!!“
“Went here and got seated super quick, clean restaurant and great atmosphere! Our server was Gabs, and she was amazing!! So knowledgeable about the halal options and careful to make sure we get only that! This is the second time we came here and looks like this might become a regular.Kid-friendliness: Very nice to kids, offer coloring paper and crayons with the kids menu!“
“I was passing through and I stumbled upon this place. I sat at the bar and the bartender (Evelyn ) was very attentive and helpful. She suggested the margaritas which were delicious and tasteful. I will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu.“
“I came here for the first time. Everything was good. Good service. Tasty food. Comfortable seats. I asked for pictures of the menu but they don't have it. Hopefully they have the pictures for first time customers like me, who don't know about Mexican cuisine.“
“I think for someone that is not a true Hispanic this is one of the best places to experience Hispanic food. The quality of food has always been high and the service has been good. The only draw back is the wait times, which I guess is a sign of how good the place is. We were served by a gentleman called Connor, attentive polite and great server. Overall excellent food and service.“
“The only bad thing about Gloria's is that they save all the tables by the dance floor for people who buy a liquor bottle. It was very expensive, so no one bought the liquor bottle, and the tables are all empty all night long while the customers stand up ALL NIGHT!! NOT GOOD.“
“They definitely aren't bad at all. If you're looking for a spot to gather and be in the mix of it all in the memorial area, then this is it.But of course, these are large gathering restaurants!Parking: You'll find a spotWheelchair accessibility: 100% accessible“
“KD, Vivacious and their new manager Noa went above and beyond to give my son & I service! We came in while shopping for a small break however coming in completely uplifted and helped my day. Such positive energy and welcoming! I will definitely be coming back to this location! Great experience & my food came out hot & fresh! Thank you ladies!“
“We sat at the bar and Lisa was very attentive. The margaritas were on point as well. Mango spicy and the Senor were our go to drinks. She also made fresh table side guacamole for us. We ordered the ceviche, street tacos and burrito plate. Tons of delicious food. Thx Lisa and crew.“
“I love the tacos here. They are great since they open. They have good service. But recently, I’ve been buying tacos and The tacos are getting smaller and the price is going up I got 6 tacos for 20 bucks I don’t mind paying for the tacos . I just want my Tacos to be like they used to when they first started opening. . I expect well taco….. overall they are good tacos just do them like y’all used too plz thanks“
“Candente is a hidden gym - their fajitas are incredible and in my opinion rival some of the larger names (like el tiempo or pappasitos) here in Houston. If you get fajitas make sure to get the “steak” beef rather than regular beef - and definitely get a margarita!!Parking: There’s a tiny lot to the side of the restaurant and if that’s full you can street park“
“I’m A frequent cyclone Anaya customer, and let me say that Jessica’s customer service behind the bar is unmatched. She gets everything to you in a timely manner and is very attentive. The food is great also. If you’re in town definitely stop by Cyclone Anaya.“
“Juarez has been in business for many years and finally moved to a new more upscale building and it so nice, you can sit outside, the food is superb and chips and different kinds of hot sauce flow freely and the Margaritas are fantastic, all different kinds, but don't drink too many they are not shy with the Tequila. The service was excellent and we have already been a few times since the new opening about a year or so ago. One last thing several years ago we had a hurricane here and everything was closed, even our HEB no fast food, it was bad but one place opened their doors and served what they could like enchiladas beans etc, they are good people who own and run it. It's a must go to place!! Sorry no pictures but I'll start working on that!!Vegetarian options: Really didn't look much at it.Dietary restrictions: They will do whatever they canParking: Parking is out front and there is plentyKid-friendliness: Appeared to be quite kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Small ramp close to doors“
“Really great spot with authentic food. Their breakfast tacos are pretty big so don’t worry about the plate coming with two. I had a brisket & egg taco and it may be one of, if not the best, tacos I’ve had in Houston. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Can’t wait to go back to try lunch/dinner.“
“Their street tacos are good! I know, I know, you do a double take to even stop like, "I don't know if I even want to stop here." But if you do, man, I'm telling you. It's super good. My wife loves the fish tacos. She does the grilled ones, but we've tried the fried ones too. The shrimp grilled and fried ones were also good as well. The Torta was delicious. Had all kinds of meats. Been there twice already, and there definitely will be a third visit down-the-line. Atmosphere could be better, but you do what you can with the streets as your dining hall. I almost forgot the churros. They're just right! Not like those hard rock ones you find at other places where I feel like I could knock someone out with it....“
“I've been coming here since college and was sad they had to close during COVID but now they are back and Villa Across is by far a Houston staple. Yes, the price of one taco is $3 but my god they fill it all the way it's like eating 2 tacos and they a hella good. They definitely don't skimp out on anything.“
“stopped by while visiting Houston and it was such a great experience! They do allow pets on the patio and I was able to bring my dog and they provided treats and water for her. Our server Santiago was so nice and attentive to us, he went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. the place itself is very cute and fun for gatherings with friends. food was also delicious! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the Houston area and looking for Mexican food.“
“Came for the first time, during my lunch break and ordered the torta texana and it was really good, the only complain I got is the torta was so big after eating it I didn't even want to go back to work I just wanted to go home and sleep lol, you definitely get your money's worth here. I'll be back for sure.“
“First time in Guadalajara. Good location, good atmosphere and everything very clean. Parking is a bit complicated but it's downtown, most places are like that.Carlos L, our friendly server, but the service was too slow, our table had 8 people and on many occasions he was absent.Skinny Margaritas super good, very refreshing. I ordered a combo plate that had several things and I loved it, my favorites were the empanadas, I think if I go again I would only order them. We also ordered the chicken nachos, good flavor. In general, a good place, for any occasion. Happy Hour available.“
“Casual neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Full-service with great Margaritas cold beers, and chips. You'll love it. Still good classic Tex mexParking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy wheel chair accept for private dining elevated area.. its rollator and wheelchair friendly“
“El Paraiso Mexican Café, is a culinary gem! The food, a delightful symphony of Mexican home cooking, is prepared from scratch, delivering authentic flavors. Each dish is a delicious journey, accompanied by prices that make it an extraordinary find. A truly delightful experience worth savoring!“
“Pleaaaase make sure you’re going to this one since there are multiple locations! We had to have our poor Uber driver turn around after we realized we set it to the wrong Ninfa’s on Navigation, which was NOT on navigation Blvd lmao. Anyway, love the place! Some of THEEE best Mexican food I’ve EVER had! I’d come back to Houston just for Ninfa’s honestly. Their tamales were out of this world. I really wanted to try the frito mixto but they were out. The ceviche definitely made up for it though!“
“We took grandson here for his birthday and the staff was fantastic in making his day! Food was great and tasty. Service was on top of it all and never asked for any refills or anything she stayed on her game 100%. I will be back for sure and always happy with their service.“
“Start your meal with bespoke cocktails, mashing up South Asian and Tex-Mex flavors and sporting tongue in cheek names - "Sari, Not Sari", "Dot, Not the Feather", "If You Know, You Know". The deviled eggs with shrimp are great starters. Try the stuffed avocado, and the curry and naan flights contain great options for trying lots of dishes for a group. Vegan and vegetarian options are all winners, and ordering "spicy" is intense ?! Don't forget to try dessert, especially the banana pudding (with mango).“
“Lovely brunch...I wish there were more hot food options, seemed to focus more on salads and cold foods, but on a Sunday I tend to enjoy something a bit heartier. The flan is absolutely DIVINE!...ambiance is very upscale. Beautiful surroundings.Complimentary valet parking, High dollar btw.“
“The NW location of El Tiempo was excellent. The food always comes out hot and fresh. Their red and green salsas are very good. They sent me a $20 off entree' coupon for my birthday which was awesome! They sang HBD song and me a tres leches cake with whipped cream and fresh fruit. The waitress was so nice and attentive. I would recommended going to El Tempo Cantina!“
“We asked to be seated in the covered patio area. Even though the weather was nice, the patio area is spacious, has a great atmosphere. It has fans, a television. Great place to relax and have conversation. The food was amazing and served to us promptly.“
“We came here unexpectedly looking for Mexican food by geographic proximity. Service was great, the host - a young man and our wonderfully attentive, kind server Britannia made our patio experience very nice. We were able to take our dog on the patio and they brought water immediately. We enjoyed the food and hubby is particular. He had a combo plate with cheese enchilada, chicken fajita and a crispy taco. He thought the ingredients were good quality and enjoyed his plate. I had green chicken plate. Very good. Great green sauce, lots of white meat chicken and very much to my liking. We would go back even though it is a bit out of our neighborhood.“
