Been wanting to try this popular place for a couple of years and today we finally had our very first visit to The Creek Restaurant in Boerne for brunch—and it was nothing short of enchanting. 🌿💫 Nestled beside the serene Cibolo Creek, the setting alone felt like something out of a storybook. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully preserved building that’s over 200 years old, and part of it was once a church. You can feel the character and peaceful energy in every corner. We wanted to dine outside on the deck, where the sound of the water created the dreamiest backdrop—but it was a bit too windy, so we cozied up inside by a window instead. It was perfect in its own way—warm, inviting, and still filled with charm. 🪟🌬️💕 The food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor—clearly made with love and care. From start to finish, the service was warm and welcoming, making us feel like treasured guests. “Asked for a beer flight and the girl at the counter said no, "We're waiting for the smaller glasses, we don't use the previous glasses that were bigger". We live in Boerne and frequented this place over the past few years and laughed when she said that, so you're saying I can't have a flight like we've had over the past few years because the glasses are to big and we have to wait for the smaller ones? I've heard it all...Yes the economy is terrible right now but really?“

“I called VERY last minute for a custom cake. The team was happy to accommodate and even during a rush they took the time to assist me. They were sure to call with any questions to ensure the cake turned out perfect. I’m thrilled with the outcome!“

“Our server Mr. Runfeng today ( 11/1/21) was so rude. No friendly personality at all. From the minute we walked in, he just pointed to where we needed to sit then he came over and didn't say hello how are you. All he said what do you want and then when he brought us our food he never came back over to see if we needed anything else to drink or anything and then when he did come back to our table he quickly set the ticket down on our table and didn't say thank you for coming or anything so when you wonder why you didn't get a today.. maybe you'll stop and think that you need to be more friendly to your customers.“

I wasnt sure what to order, so she was very patient and recommended a few house specialties, i ended up ordering a chimichanga. And the food was outstanding but what made the vist much more memorable was the uppity spirit of hers , I left stomach satisfied and and high spirited. 10/10 will definitely be coming back again“
