“I absolutely love Summer Moon Coffee, and in my opinion, it’s the best coffee in Austin—hands down. Their fire-roasted coffee has such a unique, rich flavor, and my go-to is always the Velvet Blaze. I typically get the large Americano, and today’s was perfect—hot, smooth, and just a little creamy, even though I drink it black. The taste really shines through!

This Buda location does not disappoint. Great atmosphere, friendly baristas, and consistently excellent coffee. If you’re a coffee lover and haven’t tried Summer Moon yet, you’re missing out. This place is my absolute favorite coffee joint in the Austin area.“

That said, many of the employees were taking shots during my visit, which made the service feel unprofessional and inconsistent. As someone who’s worked as a server in the past, I’d hate to see such a good restaurant’s reputation affected by lapses in professionalism.

“In town visiting family from the DFW area and was looking for something that we didn’t have back home. I am always looking for a Cubano that is exactly that. While I like adding different flavors to enhance foods, I wanted a Cubano and that is exactly what I got! The yuka frita was delicious and even better the next day. Sadly this will be something to enjoy while in town next time, but anyone looking for a great Cubano this is the place!“

“Mandolas is a wonderful restaurant. I love going in on Thursday. That's the day they have Cannelloni Florentina. It is delicious. Thin sheets of pasta stuffed with braised chicken, spinach, Romano & Fontina cheeses, baked in a became sauce with a touch of marinara. I pair it with a Mista salad. Nice mix of greens, olives, a bit of celery and a wonderful house dressing oils, herbs and cheese. Yum! The wait staff are friendly and attentive. They are the only restaurant in the area that the staff clears away plates and bowls to give you room to rest your arms, or make room for desert plates. It's always satisfying to eat at Mandolas. I take friends or meet friends at the restaurant often. It's nice to see the same staff at the restaurant. Managers and staff come to your table to check on you and ask if you need anything. If you do need something they bring it right away! I will be going back soon.“

“I liked it! Went on a Wednesday night, so not very crowded, but i know that it's a much more popular place on the weekends. The people working were nice, but they didn't really interact, they just kind of stood there did whatever. The food was great, like always, however it took longer than I would have liked. I ordered simple bean and cheese tacos, yet somehow took 25 minutes? They were good though, so I won't complain.“

The Chicago dogs were spot on—delicious, perfectly made, and just like you’d expect from the Windy City. On top of the great food, we had the pleasure of chatting with the co-owners, Bonita and James. They’re incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. It felt more like catching up with friends than ordering lunch. Can’t wait to go back for more amazing food and conversation. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving a true taste of Chicago!“

Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

I put 5 for atmosphere, even though it’s a food cart. I added that because the people are great and they’re great chefs too. I’m really satisfied with what I ate and I feel full and happy!

It’s also in the same parking lot as a store (Hula Hut) that has a great selection of beers and wines.
