“Great place. Very friendly staff members, work very hard. Wines and mocktails were delicious. The food...eh. The flat bread wasn't cooked all the way through, the charcuterie plates were different from everyone, each has more or less or something from everyone else's. Didn't have knives for the cheese. The chicken kabobs were cold and precooked and then cut and put onto stewers. The lamas and baby cow were quite friendly though. The patio had a large amount of different kind of patio furniture, it was all mixed up and all over the place. Although we had a great time.“
“Jonah was our server tonight, absolutely fantastic friendly and welcoming. Answered every question, got our demands (well food, drink orders and misc like straws) immediately or as soon as possible (bar was busy steak was late however one of the best I've had) made jokes and had fun was timely and also allowed us time to enjoy our meal while also being observant and attentive have not been to a Chili's in a while however this night will be forever remembered and appreciated due to this young man, great work Jonah keep up the amazing service and you'll go very far in the hospitality industry. (Family of 6)“
“Our favorite sandwich shop now! I usually get the Power Plant with jalapeño hummus though all the varieties of sandwich look delicious! Love the toasted taste and the eclectic vibe of this restaurant! This location has a great patio too, so it's great for meeting with your SO and or a friend group. Also love their baked goodies! The folks who work there give awesome service - they're all friendly and very helpful! I first visited the Austin location with my college student then when I saw the sign here in SA I was super excited! And they don't disappoint!! It's truly an awesome shop! Make it your next stop and enjoy it!!“
“The Keto pizza was wonderful. The crust was crisp and I have had the cauliflower crust at few other places, but the crust was nice and crisp!!! The wings were great and so was the Bloody Mary!!!We took home pumpkin pie cheesecake square that was keto friendly…. Operative word is WAS. It was so good that it was gone in 4 bites!!!We will be back soon!!!“
“Great food, service, and drinks. My husband ordered Ribeye and gratin which was amazing. I ordered special of the day, lamb with mash and veggie medley. Delicious! He ordered an old fashion which is one of his favorites. I got the cheesecake which was amazing but had to share since I couldn't finish it on my own. My step son ordered the ribeye , gratin, and the lobster tail which he loved. Also, the vanilla brûlée which hit the spot.“
“The staff was friendly and quick. The drinks were great the peach campfire margarita is a must try if that's your thing. The wings were pizzeria wings, but really good pizzeria wings. The pizzas were great! The meat lovers was great and the gluten free house was over loaded with toppings. They have made good progress for cross contamination because I never felt bad afterwards. 10/10Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“This place is awesome. I occasionally have to be in the area (don’t live anywhere near) and I saw this place. Looked like a neat spot so one day I popped in one afternoon. Drinks (especially the old fashioned) are amazing. Great atmosphere as well. The city inspector actually came in on a random visit while I was at the bar. He had to literally hunt to find anything wrong. Gave them a 95 score. Prob should have been 100 but they probably don’t give those out much. Lol. I will be stopping in for a cold one any time I’m close. Highly recommend. I didn’t eat, thus no score on the food. Cheers everyone.“
“The small town of Bracken TX & its places of business has character & characters. When the Bracken Cafe relocated to Retama Race Track, the Bracken Store & Ice House opened its doors at this address. The new business appealed to people who enjoyed good food (Food truck) expanded dining to outdoors, added a convenient store & live entertainment. What brought me back today at 0100pm was a fund raiser for Earl Rhodes. A BBQ, bake sale, & an auction of very nice donated items. Earl is a friend of LeAn Watson Butler whom I have known from workouts & socials at the old Spectrum gym. It is a good worthy cause. Think anyone going to the ice house, to eat or be entertained would feel very comfortable doing so. Everyone I met from LeAn's group or the store were super friendly & engaging.“
“We came to San Antonio to visit family and they took us out on a quiet Monday. We had the pleasure of Sean as our server, he was very attentive and informed us of the chef’s suggestion for the day. Sean kept our drinks filled throughout our meal and overall provided superb service! On to the food..Let me start off with the warm bread, seasoned olive oil and hummus, delicious! We took forever to look at the menu because we couldn’t stop eating the bread. For the antipasti, we ordered the bruschetta, calamari and the stacked eggplant. Bruschetta was ohhh so good, simply seasoned and perfectly crunchy. The stacked eggplant was my favorite, beautifully cooked, cheesy and I could have eaten that as my entree and stopped there (I’m picky so I can’t tell you about the calamari)I’m already full but then the Caesar salad comes out. I ate half and tapped out when the lemon pepper chicken (no spaghetti, sub mashed potatoes) and green peas came out. Sean kindly boxed my plate for me.We got back to Dallas and heated up the lemon pepper chicken and OH MY GOODNESS! I would drive back to San Antonio just to enjoy Paesanos again! From the quality of the food, beautiful atmosphere and excellent service, it’s definitely a place I will be dreaming about until our next visit.“
“Love this place! My husband and I have been coming here for years! The bartenders are always friendly and welcoming. We especially love the bars hospitality in hosting our pool league nights! Love that they have the AMI music system. Allows us to be our own DJ! We highly recommend this bar for any night of the week!“
“Don't venture too far away from Food Trucks - the buzzer is less reliable and food might get cold. Stay close by and you should get fresh hot food - great staff, food, and lots of screens for sports as well as room to roam and games for kids, etc. Really a great spread out there. They REALLY need a quality sound system for the live music though - sound was really harsh and poorly mixed. Plenty of heaters for cold nights and lots of fans for most of the year! ???“
“O'Brien's is a hidden gem on Hwy. 46 in Bergheim, TX, near Boerne. Don't let the former service station building fool you. The food is excellent, as is the service. And the wine list is better than average. If you are anywhere close this is a strong recommend!“
“Great cocktails and best Chicken Schnitzel was crispy & tasty. It's on their Seasonal menu but I hope they add it to their Regular menu. Pitchers of mimosas and unique Bloody Mary's. The menu has something for everyone and at every price range. I'm sure Breakfast is a big hit here, but go for dinner.“
“Fast and friendly service. Quick on drinks and food! Local family owns and seemed to have designed the nice outdoor seating area and the cute inside that matches the name. Huge selection of drinks, including framboise, and a good bites menu that can be eaten as a meal. Would definitely come again!Vegetarian options: Has clearly labeled vegetarian options!“
“Went based on the reviews, and wasn't disappointed! The atmosphere was relaxed, clean and friendly. Beers were great and had a wide variety to select from even the shots were great and not over or under poured perfect combo. Food was okay and it may have been partly my fault as they were closing up the kitchen when I ordered. But overall a really great place to meet up with some friends and have a few drinks“
“Family!! This is what you can expect once you walk through the saloon style doors. Not only is the staff friendly, but even the patrons make you feel like they have known you forever. Pool games, drinks, and great conversations can be found here.“
“We have been coming to the Angry Elephant and Roo Pub for the last 8 years, The past 3 years the Angry Elephant became headquarters to the Alamo City Bolts "LA Chargers" Thanks to Chip who has always treated us like family and Mike Tejeda who made sure we were taken care of during the games, We can't say enough for the staff they have assembled other then excellent and family. The FOOD is great we favor the snacks like Nacho Fries and the wings. We've tasted almost everything on their menu and never disappointed. The Atmosphere is beyond reproach, Easy going, kids are allowed I believe up to 9pm, Dart Boards, Pool Tables and Trivia games, make it a point to visit you won't be disappointed“
“When I walked in I was unimpressed with a shotgun style room with little bar space. But they won me over pretty quickly. The bartender was really, really attentive and efficient, two traits one should value from a bartender. He jumped on drinks and when the bar was a little packed to get them to us easily he was around the bar handing them out before we knew it. He also rounded up empties and moved a table to make drinking-while-darting easier for us (without anyone asking)! They have two digital dart board setups, pool tables, table shuffleboard, even a hoops game. Everything required quarters or cash, which I don't carry and I didn't see an ATM. Not surprisingly it was easy as can be with the bartender; he threw the dollars on the tab and off we were to darts. Everyone there seemed pretty nice and into having fun. This was a Saturday night after a movie with bowl games on. Plenty of TV viewing whether at the bar or playing games.“
“We were hungry but didn't have a lot of time so we sat at the bar. The guy working behind the bar told us the kitchen could get us our food quickly so we both got grilled shrimp tacos. They were absolutely amazing. Add the green sauce and it's even better. We were in and out in 25 minutes. Great service, clean restaurant, delicious food. Even the water tasted good. Will be back soon for sure.“
“Stopped in here for a catfish lunch and was pleased for sure. We started with the chicken and sausage gumbo. It was decently flavorful with a lot of heartiness and not just rice. I got the blackened catfish with redbeans and rice. Catfish was really good but the redbeans could've used a little flavor. My wife got the jambalaya and it was good and filling. They bring enough for 3 meals. Service was outstanding.“
“One of the best secrets in the north central area! When you search "bars" in Google, many times multiple bars are in the same area. Shin Dig weirdly stands by itself in the Encino Bluff area so its overlooked as you think its not worth driving another 5-10 minutes out of the area to a place that doesn't have much else around it. Don't pass this place up! Their food menu is made from scratch and everything taste great! The drinks are awesome, service is top notch, portions, prices for the food are fair and in this review it was on halloween and they decorated the whole place. Another thing I liked is they have a casual upstairs section, juke box and the place just feels clean and or high quality. This is my new favorite bar and I want to go here every weekend.“
“My friend (Maurice W.) and I Just had the wildest post work day at the Cross-Eyed Seagull. Josh, the bartender, is a mixologist wizard. His concoctions are a flavor explosion! it's like sipping creativity. 10/10, would drown in Josh's liquid artistry again.“
“The taco truck was excellent. The beer and mix drinks were great. The live music set the overall vibe. Watching the doggo run from her owner provided additional entertainment. The owner spoke with everyone. The bartender Mario was a cool cat and made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely be going back soon.“
