“For me... I mean, i see a lot of folks congregating having a good time, but - for me? I can find a dark, quiet booth to sip my finely crafted vieux carre, and be left *alone.* sometimes I just wanna get out, and I am so glad there's a quality dining establishment within an easy drive of most of stone oak! They don't have alot of food - a personal charcuterie is all, but they often have someone making plates in the parking lot. Tonight I think it was a type of Philly cheese steak. Anyway, good speakeasy! Friendly bartenders! ( If you're into that.)“

“I went to dine-in with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. We didn't have a reservation, yet we were seated without too much of a wait time. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and our server was very helpful & kind. Definitely a place I can see us revisiting in the near future!“

“La Canterra location. Gabriel was our server and was outstanding. His recommendations were perfect. He explained every dish he brought out. Ask for him. Being from Spain and cooking paella and making tapas, the food at Toro is authentic and wonderful. I have eaten at many “Spanish” restaurants thru out the US and this has been my favorite! Highly recommend! Ole 💃🏻“

“This is one of our favorite places to go. We were there this past weekend for our anniversary and the food did not disappoint! My wife had the Scaloppini Di Vitello while I had the Eggplant Parmesan. Both of our selections were very delicious! Great atmosphere and the service was great! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go for date night and great dining. We will be coming back!“

“We dined Christmas Eve, arriving 3pm (our reservation time) which was their closing time, it didn't matter. Our Host was welcoming as if they just opened, our Server, who we've had the pleasure of being taken care of before, was happy to see us, our dinner service was perfect!! Our salads were dressed just right, the romaine was fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed them, I loved the red beans and rice too. Two of us had the fish and chips which were fresh out of the fryer when the got to our table and the fish tacos my wife had, were unbelievably tasty. We never felt rushed to eat and get out even though it was Christmas Eve and they were closing early, Thank you for making us feel wanted and comfortable. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. Thank you too for another Excellent dining experience“

“The black bean burger is a great addition to their menu. We've been going here for years, the beer has always been great and so has the service. My husband has always liked their food and now that they have a more robust vegetarian option I get to enjoy coming here too!“

“James *our waiter* and Mehdi *the amazing chef* were absolutely phenomenal. The good was very flavorful and delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and he went above and beyond with the strawberry shortcake dessert 🍰 for not just the birthday girl but the entire party of 5 got to partake. The Salmon BLT is a 10/10! Spicy Crab and Avocado and the SW Chicken Sandwich both superb. We will definitely be back. All around *chefs kiss*“

“The male bartender who works early morning is the absolute best. I guess they have your order saved in the system with your number so when I called in my order, he already knew it was me! Definitely recommend their habanera pork belly egg benedict. Its my fav.“

When it came down to the actual day everyone was SO nice! I cannot express how smooth everything was. Our waitress was so sweet and prompt with all our food/drinks.

“Wow! Impressive property! We feel like royalty and everything has really exceeded our expectations! The rooms are pristine. The staff is so personable and professional. The spa is amazing and I had an amazing massage. We will be here all week and I am looking forward to another massage with my husband joining me next time. “I have been here many many times but I am writing this review because my waiter/bartender made this visit extra special. The food was amazing as usual but this time, I had Xavier helping me and he made my visit feel like the first time. He was the perfect level of attentive and checked on me at the perfect time. He knew when to fire off my main dish after my appetizer....perfection. To make it better, brought me dessert from Silo which is my favorite. Perfect evening thanks to Xavier!!!“

“We were at the Rim location just now. We sat in the bar area and immediately left. The floor had chips, old french fries on the floor and under the table. I had even said something about the floor needed sweeping as the hostess sat us. She didnt even bother to come back to address that. We got up and left. If the staff is like that with upkeep upfront, I did not want to know how they maintain their kitchen. I can understand if they were very busy and did not have time but there was a couple of people in the bar area. They could have addressed that. Very dissappointed.“
