“Comfy cozy vibes.
I really enjoying taking myself here for a solo lunch date.
Services is very attentive and they noted when I was running low on my favorite side dish pickled radish and asked if I wanted more.
I really enjoy coming here and even though I usually get the number 8. I can’t wait to try more.“

“I got the potato cheese dog and it was delicious and filling. The spicy sauce tastes like buldak's sauce, and paired with the garlic mayo makes the whole thing absolutely delicious. The house strawberryade is very refreshing as well. Love love love 💕“

“The side dishes are so delicious that I go here every time I go to Dallas. I really like the combination of pig’s feet and makkimchi. It’s better than the jokbal restaurant. We live in the countryside, so we buy a lot at once, and they always provide great service and are very kind. The seasoned crab sauce is delicious, so I buy it often.“

“January 2025
Comfort Korean noodle soup for a cool night. Not much meat but warm broth was flavorful. Kimchi was pretty spicy compared to others. However, home made noodle soup has a large portion. We revisit this restaurant often.
Parking: Good parking spots outside of restaurant“

“Got in later in the evening last night to Dallas and although I like the Westin DFW, there aren’t a lot of food options open after 9pm so my instincts (and Google Maps) led me to a concentration of Korean restaurants, where I settled on a bossam/jokpal shop…small, great service, specializing in a couple of dishes (peep the small menu) but doing them extremely well…couldn’t eaten three times as much bossam but the lady treated me like family and gave me a free extra pieces with my combo instead of ordering the medium portion…Would eat here at least once every other week if there was one near me…check them out if you’re in the area“

“I’ve been a regular at this restaurant since it first opened. To be honest, I didn’t visit as often initially because the kimchi wasn’t very good back then. However, recently, I’ve noticed that the kimchi has improved significantly, and the overall taste of the food seems even better than before.
The Sanghwang Mushroom Samgyetang is absolutely delicious, and the staff here are incredibly kind and friendly. Highly recommend!“

“I was looking for a place to eat instant tteokbokki, and it was so delicious.
You can adjust the spiciness, there are different flavors, there are various types of rice cakes/noodles, and it's nice because it's clean.
I had a great time eating rice cakes and fried rice. I'll come again.“

“They have a few tables in the back with back-support bench chairs. Otherwise, you have to sit on stools with no back support. When we asked for the back table, they told us that it was reserved. I'm not convinced if all the tables were reserved. For that, I don't know if I would return.“

“Was CRAVING this since moving back to the US from korea. Wish there was more potatoes, also the waitress didn’t bring us ANY of the free traditional sides which was alittle weird because everyone else around us got it with their meal. I’m not sure if it’s cause we were the only none Korean people there, or it could’ve just been coincidence. Either way, we enjoyed our meal.“

“The pancake is so good as their name "zzizim" means Korean pancake, we love the assorted pancake like treasure hunting, fun and flavory, but their pork belly is so dry and beef Korean bbq flavor too much ginger and sugary, not yummy. All the restaurant feeling sticky, the environment is not good.“

“I really like the army soup and the original flavor grilled pork ribs. The spiciness in the soup makes everything in it taste amazing. I really like the noodles and tofu in the soup. The pork ribs are crispy and delicious. It's enough to feed 4 people, but sometimes it's just me and my partner.“

“Best Kimbop(김밥) in the state. I travel a lot and tried many Kimbop everywhere in the state near Korea town. This place is the best so far for me!
Tried Gobo Kimbop(우엉김밥) , bulgogy Kimbop(불고기김밥) and
ttuckpokki(떡볶이), they were so delicious!
You should try this place when you’re in dallas area if you want quick lunch.“

“This is without a doubt the best Korean restaurant in Dallas.
First, if I were to compare the taste, the taste I get in Korea sometimes tastes better because it's in the US. Dumplings are especially delicious these days. My favorite is the cold noodle dumpling set.
Second is service. The owner and staff are very friendly. Just by exchanging a few words with them, I could tell that they were not pretentious or had a sense of responsibility as employees, but that they were really good people.
Third is the price. I love food, so I go to restaurants a lot. I try a lot of new restaurants. If that's the case, I won't even write a review. I use it when it's really annoying, really delicious, or unusual. Here, the price is pretty good. Even looking at the quality and sincerity of the food, I think it is very cheap.
Fourth and last is detail. It's always neatly set up, no tips are accepted, and directions are visible. In particular, the free hot broth is amazing.
There is no restaurant I have ever praised this much. I visit often because it is one of the restaurants that I am thankful for that helped me get over my homesickness. Anyway, I recommend it.“

“First time trying this restaurant and ordered it Togo with uncooked noodles to boil at home and it tasted amazing. Only downside is that I wished they clean the Dino Ribs better because the amount of times I took a bite of the food and soup, I get pieces of tiny bones stuck on my teeth and became unenjoyable at the point where drinking down the soup didn’t happen to be the best part of the dish. If they can fix that small mistake to double boil or clean thoroughly of the ribs or not boil them to long where it’s literally disintegrating, the dish would’ve been 5/5.
Overall, regular spicy is excellent for someone that can eat jalapeños regularly. Going to try extra spicy next time
I haven’t tried other dishes so maybe the Dino ribs might be the only dish to get bits of bones in the soup.“

“We are moving to the area and wanted to find a good korean restaurant here, this place was outstanding. Amazing food, amazing service. Affordable and big portions. The galbi and spicy pork were amazing and all of our soups were so delicious. Our waitress Coco (sorry if i misspelled) was so lovely and friendly, there were a few dishes we were unfamiliar with, she explained how to eat them and was so helpful :)“

“I had a river rat at home, so I ate it and it was so delicious! The assorted boiled pork, seolleongtang, and seasoned crab were crazy!!It doesn't smell at all, it's delicious, and I'll be visiting often!!All kimchi is delicious, but green onion kimchi is especially delicious? The marinated crab is tastier than the one you buy at a side dish restaurant, and there is a lot more of it!!“

“Charming hole in the wall specializing in Juk (Korean congee). I had a bowl of the shrimp and mushroom. It was delicious though I did add some black pepper.
It wasn't busy while I was there and the solitary host/waitress was delightful and attentive. I'm a left-handed white guy so I was embarrassingly flattered when she complimented my chopstick use.
I live in Plano and wish this location was closer to me. Do yourself a favor and get a bowl of Juk.“

“We visited Ajumma in Carrollton and ordered the sundae bokkeum (stir-fried blood sausage) and jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles). The portions were surprisingly large for the price! Sundae bokkeum looked like it could feed two people, and the jjolmyeon came with plenty of fresh vegetables, which was nice!
It’s a self-service restaurant, so no tip is required, and the food came out relatively quickly. There’s also a small banchan shop next door. Overall, the prices were very reasonable, and it’s definitely a solid spot for a casual Korean meal.“

“I had such a wonderful dinner here the other day. I ordered the Small Intestines, Fried Rice at the end, and a bottle of soju.
The banchan were such good complements to the intestines. I especially loved the bean sprouts - they're well seasoned, garlicky, and heavily fragrant with the sesame oil. The salad and chive banchan were excellent palate refreshers to the rich gopchang. Utter bliss followed with a shot of ice-cold soju.
Service was amazing. My order was taken immediately, the staff frequently checked in with me to make sure I was taken care of, had a great attitude, and cooked my items to perfection. The young lady who made my fried rice shaped it into a heart!! And it was crispy, well-seasoned, and not too greasy thanks to the care she put in soaking up the excess gopchang grease. I look forward to eating it for lunch today.
I wish I lived closer, but it was well worth the 30 minute drive.
Thank you for a wonderful experience.“

“A good place to have a quick bite or quick lunch inside a grocery store. You get a pretty decent portion for the price and its so worth it. Most of their items are under $15. I got the beef over rice (the one in the bowl) and a beef bulgogi bento box. For about $13 these came with the sides and the soup. Yum!!“

“We came for the fried chicken, and it did not disappoint!! 🙌🏽
So juicy and crispy, just delicious. I recommend getting the sauce for the chicken on the side for dripping. This place is super chill, with K-pop music for ambiance. They have call buttons on the tables, so you can't go wrong with the service. I will definitely come back!“

“Jang Choong Dong Korean Restaurant in Carrollton, Texas, is renowned for its authentic Korean cuisine, particularly its signature dish, jokbal (braised pig’s trotters). Many patrons praise the quality of the jokbal, noting its rich flavor and tender texture. However, some have mentioned that the bossam (boiled pork) can be dry and may taste as though it was prepared in advance. The restaurant’s location can be a bit challenging to find, as it’s situated around the corner from Omi Grill and faces a different direction than expected. Despite this, diners often find the effort worthwhile, appreciating the authentic flavors and generous portions offered. “

“This is my favorite KFC restaurant in the DFW area. The food is awesome and the staff are super friendly. I love the decor and style and it's always clean inside. It is KFC and made when you order it so don't expect it to come out like you're at Chick-Fil-A (and if you have a hangry girlfriend that needs food immediately, maybe you shouldn't get KFC cause most of them do take a bit). The Ban/Ban street style is my favorite thing to eat here and the flavors are all delicious.
They even have elotes and that is also really good. ToriDori is different than the other KFC places and I think that is what makes it stand out to me. Great concept with great options ran by great people. Give it a try!“

“we can only assume that the food served up at Musiro Korean Restaurant off Old Denton Rd next to H Mart is authentic. The restaurant interior is cozy and quaint with a mixture of private booths and open tables. The menu is simple and has been consistently good in the 10yrs we have been dining there. prices are reasonable, and the staff friendly. we highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area for lunch or dinner.“

“We had the best meal here last weekend. I ordered the seafood soup and didn’t realize it had pork in it. We don’t eat pork. Totally my fault. But the staff was so kind, they remade it for us without the pork and it was amazingly delicious. We also got the asada steak which was magnificent and the agedashi tofu which was also just perfect. Definitely recommend.“

“First of all, I don't write reviews too often, but the service here was exceptional yesterday, so I am inclined to say something. The workers were so helpful and kind as it was my first time visiting this type of restaurant. They guided me on what food offerings to put in my bowl and what flavor broth to choose as it is different from other shabu shabu/hot pot style places I have been before. For me, I chose the number 2 level of spiciness, which was perfect for my liking and the flavors reminded me of a mix of cham pong and ramen, which I love. Make sure to put some korean sausages in.
I also ordered the cream shrimp goubaorou dish, which was exceptional. They use potato flower that made it crispy and chewy at the same time. The sauce flavor was similar to honey walnut shrimp dishes I had before, but the texture and crunch made it one of my favorite dishes.
Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Make sure to ask for Alina as she made my family, and I feel so welcomed and created a comfortable atmosphere. Great job guys!“
