Sausage was the best - ribs pretty good with this magic seasoning over it. We loved the Sweet potato interpretation with cinnamon and vanilla.

“Service was amazing. Food was good as well, price doesn’t match portions; maybe think about adding a little more meat to the portions for the prices they’re charging unless I was skimped on my meat... Brisket was tender and sausage was cooked very well. The bbq beans could use a little more time in the cooker and some sugar to help soften them and mashed potatoes do need some garlic powder to help balance the flavor. Otherwise the food was great will be visiting again in near future.“

“I recommend don't go. I got a 3 meat plate ribs slice beef and sausage. the beef was very fatty un eatable. the ribs was supposed to be fall off the bone. No they were not. the greens was too spicy 🔥. the only thing on my plate that was worth eating was the beans and bread. spent $23.82 to feed my dog I will never go back. This was today 3/5/2025 I wish I could show you the pictures“

“This is a restaurant inside of a gas station. Food here is good. Service is always quick and courteous. The brisket tacos are pretty awesome. A step above for sure with the smoked brisket. They also have a loaded baked potato (done chophouse style w/ smoked meat and baked beans, etc.) that will leave you stuffed if you can eat it all. Great place to eat.“

“If you are going for the ambience; this ain't the place for you. However, the food more than makes up for it. We ordered a shrimp po boy basket and a catfish basket. Both were absolutely delicious! They were hot, fresh and seasoned just right. We will definitely be back!“

“Having recently moved to the South Dallas area the closest bbq joint I would go to was Lockharts in Oak Cliff. Decided to try something in my immediate area and very happy I did. We got 2 of the 2 meat plates (See Pictures). Chopped beef and links and chopped beef and ribs. I was asked if I wanted my meats drowned in their bbq sauce to which I agreed but it is very saucy. So I will not be taking that into consideration with this review (will get sauce on the side next time.) Overall the meats were tender and juicy! My favorite thing though was their loaded baked potato! Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back when I need my bbq fix!“

“Food was VERY good. Service not too bad but more attention to refilling drinks needs to be looked at. Especially when bill is $300. I feel filling drinks should NOT require ringing that bell. A more pleasant sounding bell would be nice. Current ring is very displeasure and jarring.“
