“My husband and I had dinner there last night for the first time. The young lady who took our order was very patient and friendly. The food arrived to our table within a few minutes and it was great. Prime rib was on point and the pork ribs were as well. I could eat a whole plate of their green beans. A man, maybe a manager, came to assist us at our table as we were trying to get my hubby's wheelchair closer in for him to eat. Great experience over all and we will be back and recommend to friends.“

“The Purple Pig was recommended to me, and I recommend this outstanding BBQ eatery enthusiastically. The best pulled pork BBQ I've eaten has been in Tennessee. Nothing to compare. We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. Wonderful sides. Add to the excellence of the food is the service and the quaint, charming setting. Five stars.“

“OMGOSH, all the times I've come into HEB had never stopped and eaten at True Texas BBQ. The staff at Walnut Ave were amazing. The food was outstanding. My husband and I shared the El Jefe and oh my it was so so good.

“I have been going to this location every other week. The owner is pretty nice, and the service is great. I'm impressed that their are only 2 people working there. An the amount of customers they are able to take in. The transactions are quick.“

“I kind of just ran into this place. Had the brisket and sausage plate with a side of Shiner beans. The beans were out of this world good. They had an awesome beer flavor along with a hint of salsa. The sausage was made in house and a unique flavor. It was good not a whole lot of smoke flavor. The brisket was ok. It was tender but lacked the rich smokey flavor I like in my brisket. It didn't taste bad just not how I like my brisket.“

“Amazing service! Fast friendly clean and wonderful service. We came in right as they were closing. Y’all have to understand we had been in line at the Fort Worth stock show for nine hours. They kept the registers open. They took a massive order. They got it all right my kids who are exhausted are now going to bed full and happy and mom and dad are blown away by the amazing service. If you’re ever in Fort Worth check this place out you won’t go wrong.“

“Recently, I stopped by Bill Miller's after a long day of work and had the most pleasant experience at the drive- through. The lady who took my order and gave me my food was so nice, I wish I had gotten her name. She hoped I had a blessed day, and she was so sunny and cheerful when she said it, I knew she meant it.
Additionally, the food was delicious, and my order was promptly provided.
I always love going to Bill Miller's. They are always friendly, and the food is comfort after a long day. Thank you!“

“Came here for the first time. Ordered the BBQ Mix Plate which consists of 2 scoops white rice, 1 scoop mac salad, bbq chicken, bbq beef, and bbq kalbi. The whole plate is legit and tastes exactly like back home in Hawaii. Not too many people can perfect the mac salad from home, but this place is delicious. It’s a perfect side dish to along the powerful flavor of the bbq meats. I also ordered the spam musubi. And just like home, the plate is expensive too lol, but it’s definitely worth it whenever I’m at any L&L because I don’t have one near my side of town. On this particular day, we had a Hawaii live music event. Kainoa & Friends also plays at various L&L locations for free, so please be sure to check him and his crew out. They’re amazing and worth going. I’ve posted the 2025 schedule for Kainoa.
The staff are super friendly and fast. The restaurant is definitely the smallest that I’ve been to in TX so far. Very limited tables to dine at inside and outside. Lots of parking and they have 1 unisex restroom.“

“After I received my food, I realized I wanted dark meat, and there was a team leader named Beatrice standing next to me and She made sure that I was getting what I wanted. “We are regulars at Longhorn Steakhouse. My wife, daughter & I stop in almost every Sunday after church services. We love their food & the excellent service they provide. We especially love our servers. (Kenna, Haven, Adrianna, Zack, Gabrielle & Craig to name a few) Craig served us today. He’s awesome. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Manager Travis today. “Drive through experience was great. Dinner time. Moved quickly. The young man taking the order was friendly and repeated the order to us. At the window, he greeted us and was super polite. Doubled a vegetable in place of a third item. The food was packed perfectly. They included condiments (that I forgot to request) and everything tasted great! 👍🏽“

“This has been mine and my daughters favorite spot for years, but recently we’ve gone 2 times in a row and they were out of ramen. That’s what my daughter gets and both times we’ve had to leave and go somewhere else. It’s disappointing but hopefully the ramen will be back and we can start going again. Food has always been wonderful so I’m definitely missing it now.“

“I came in about 30-45 mins before closing so I was expecting to have some food not available but they had everything I wanted available and the staff were all very kind, service was quick as well. This is the only location I would recommend as others aren’t up to par as this one has been.“

“Quick service style cafeteria/buffet for what I would consider darn good BBQ. Pork, chicken,and brisket. All perfectly smoked. BBQ sauce is on point. All the sides taste like they're made inhouse. Simple environment, show up however you want, plenty of space and seating spread apart. Prices are good too for the quality. They have good options for different plates. Desserts are probably on the same level but I didn't try them. They looked good tho. Try it if you're in the area and you're not from the area. 👍“

“This morning I dined in at this location (unfortunately I have no pictures due to my tight schedule) I ordered 3 bean and cheese tacos with two bacons each and one sweet tea. Short and sweet interactions with the staff who were quick to make the food and tidied up the tables quickly. The food was fantastic! They stuffed my tacos and they were fresh and hot! I haven’t gone in many years for breakfast or lunch but this re kindled my desire to go back to this location for a larger meal! I know this might be a simple breakfast but it really started my day right!

“Stopped early dinner, my order was taken and repeated with a Ty, get to the window and a young man Robert greeted, smiled and had eye contact. Everything you don’t see anymore in today’s customer service. Ty Robert, even a friendly professional greeting can make a person stay better and happy for choosing this place to spend their money at.
