“We were here for a baby shower and it was the best one I have ever been to. The bar staff were great, they were slinging drinks quick! And they were so nice too. I love all the specials they had going on, which were posted don the chalk wall behind the bar. Btw there is a thing called train shots, every time the train passes they do $2 shots. The back patio was fantastic! Plenty of room with lots of tables and a stage for live music. Kids are allowed till 8. So it was great to see them all running around. And there were 2 good trucks to get some grub. We will be back for sure, baby shower or not.“

“I recently visited the local VFW clubhouse after inheriting a flag flown in honor of my grandfather, who served in the Korean War. I was told this was the place to go for help getting it properly folded for display. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and kind. Two gentlemen took the time to carefully fold the flag with me, even giving a salute to honor my grandfather’s service. Others hung around to chat, which made the whole experience feel personal and genuine. This isn’t just a clubhouse it’s a place full of respect, camaraderie, and community. Very grateful for the help and the warm atmosphere.“

“A group is us went and listened to some really fun live music. There were a lot of people on a Friday night. If you want a seat near the stage then get there early. We didn’t mind standing. The bar was very crowded but we got our drinks relatively quickly.“

“I got the Cesar salad with fried oysters and my husband got the fried catfish both were amazing! The oysters were HUGE and the catfish was light and crispy coming from Mississippi were also skeptical about our catfish they really hit it on the nose. I normally take pictures but we were STARVING it was gone. The atmosphere is so friendly everyone was amazing. 10/10 would come back again!“

“Updated for 2024: Bluebonnet is a great fair priced place for private event space for parties. They’ve nailed this experience and everyone was helpful at the event. I wouldn’t think of doing a party of 30+ anywhere else and with all the food options now, it’s a great choice!

Great hangout place, and with enough lead time I've always been able to reserve tables on non-concert night for 30 up to 60 people. They are very accommodating, all you gotta do is just give them a call. We did my moms bday here with about 30 and our rehearsal dinner after party with about 60 all of us indoors. It does get loud in there so conversations may be harder but hey, where you get 60 people together, most of them have a seat, and several bars with no line to quickly be able to get a drink. Not many places. This is a fav location for parties even if your intention is not to dance, just hanging out, drink and listen to DJ.“

They always welcome new guests, serve great food, have the best wood dance floor in New Braunfels, and there quite a few special people that volunteer and work there. Dances are always open to the public, so join us sometime!!“

“Gave it a four only because of Monica the bartender she’s amazing. Doorman Gonzo however is a power tripping joke. A group of us came in 8 to be exact 7 females one male, we came in from the monthly truck meet. All but 3 females were mid to late 40’s including myself (49) the male my boyfriend is 51 we walk in go to the bar and Gonzo shows up out of no where (wasn’t at the door) and starts telling me I need your ID, the younger ones had theirs mine was in my truck, I told him my date of birth clearly I’m way over 21 but then he starts power tripping, Monica told him no it’s fine they’re of age and he proceeds to repeat over and over obnoxiously “I need to see ID” what a joke normally I’d be flattered however he was just being a j**** we go in there frequently during our truck meets and I’ve never experienced a doorman abusing his pseudo authority they way he did, I’ll make sure when going there next month we send a scout in to make sure that j*** isn’t “manning” the place. I will say that I’ve always had really great experiences with all other bartenders and doormen there.“

“I always have a great experience at this Chili’s, and a huge part of that is thanks to Hailey and Jordan. They are hands down two of the best servers I’ve ever had — friendly, attentive, and genuinely great at what they do. Whether I’m dining in or picking up, they always make sure everything is perfect and go out of their way to provide excellent service. “I'm loving this theater more and more. The convenience of selecting and ordering your own tickets and select snacks at individual kiosks is such a bonus!!! I very much approve of the results of the recent renovations at this New Braunfels location, which is now my favorite movie theater in town. With the addition of an arcade and bowling lanes, it's become a great family night option all under one roof. The self-serve popcorn and drink counters are genius!!! And the popcorn is great for movie theater popcorn. The theaters are very comfortable... good sizes with very nice, large, comfortable seats. This is now my first pick for movies in this town.“
