“I was looking for a coffee place where I could get a gallon or two to take to a meeting. I was certainly referred to the right place when I was sent to Betty Lou Coffee! It was so delicious and everyone commented and wanted to know where I bought it. You can bet this is going to be a monthly stop when I go meet our group. I received great customer service and they also furnished the cups and other condiments. The young woman who waited on me made me feel like the only customer of the day. Betty Lou Coffee Company is located on Landa Street close to Das Rec and I plan to go by and pick up a cup whenever I am in that area of NB.“

“The Human Bean is a great small drive-through coffee shop! The baristas, Katlyn and Jesse, were very helpful in recommending what I should get for a small lunch and a coffee. “I love on the grind so much more than Starbucks. They have a good selection of coffee, comes hot, cold and blended. They even offer a stamp card and after you buy 10 coffees you get one free. They dont even scam you by making the free coffee something nobody wants like a small black. I just redeemed my free drink today and got a large iced chocolate Carmel coffee. Their drinks dont taste as sugary as Starbucks, which I like, but they are still quite sweet. Ive gone here for a few years now and never have they gotten my order wrong, everyone is always very happy and even if the line looks long still go! They do the same thing chick fil a does and will get your order on an iPad and get you out with your drink fast. I love this place. They are dog friendly too and my dogs love coming to get a pup cup. “This is a great coffee shop in Schertz. They have a large variety of drinks and even some fancy breakfast items. They have a unique set up - drive through lane on each side of the building. All orders are taken at the window. The staff is super nice. The reason I gave 4 starts is because the coffee tastes different depending on who makes it. Also the price varies each time depending on how the coffee was rung in. I noticed you get charged for cream and sugar. But it is better than Dunkin and Starbucks.
Update after owners response- I always use my card to pay. The coffees I order are always the same. When I look at the receipt the prices are different. for 2 coffees the prices are between 7 and change and 8 and change. The one difference I noticed is the way the coffees are rung up.
Again it’s not a big deal.
But I wish the coffee would taste the same no matter who made it. My coffee is simple- black with caramel.

“My last two visits to The Human Bean have been pretty terrible experiences and I’ve reached out twice trying to speak with someone about it and haven’t heard back, other than from someone that said my message forwarded to the right people. The last visit was so bad I had to throw my drink away. Other than those two visits and the lack of customer support, other experiences have been perfect. We’ll be taking a small break for now from The Human Bean though and won’t be giving a specific location a third chance.“

“Always greeted with the sweetest people and my coffee is always good. My only concern is we went tonight around 7 and they were cleaning with what smelled like Fabuloso. The other day, I came to Dutch Bros absolutely hysterical. I was ugly crying in my car because my son has been in the hospital, and I was just completely overwhelmed with life. I didn’t even know how I was going to get through the day, I just needed coffee and a second to breathe.

The girl working the window (I didn’t catch her name, and I wish I had) noticed right away. My hand was resting on the window, and she gently put her hand on mine. She didn’t rush me. She didn’t make it awkward. She just spoke the kindest, most sincere words straight into my soul. I don’t even remember exactly what she said , something like, “We’re here for you,” or “It’s going to be okay.” But in that moment, it felt like everything.

It wasn’t just customer service. It was humanity.

That small act meant more than she will probably ever know. I will forever come to Dutch Bros because of that moment. Truly forever. This is my place now.

Every time I come here, they ask how I’m doing. They’re genuinely interested. They hype you up. They compliment you. They check in on you. They speak life into you. It’s not just coffee, it’s connection.

I would give more than five stars if I could, strictly because their customer service is that top-notch. Dutch Bros isn’t just a coffee stop, it’s a reminder that kindness still exists.

Nobody says hello, acknowledges your presence, or is willing to help/answer a question.
