“Wow, what great food. I just loved their pancakes. I stopped in a while back. The police around here love to give out citations to customers. I was watching them light people up left and right. Make sure you bring extra money in with you to pay to Clear Lake Shores Police Department when they pull you over after eating. The tickets are huge around here. They like to camp out in the parking lots around this business and surprise tourists.“

“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!“

“I met the new owner Justin @ Ryan’s Smokehouse, He was absolutely “Right On It” with incredible Bbq, I had not visited since new ownership took place, But I will tell you all I highly recommend Ryan’s ! The sliced brisket was tender with a perfect smoked flavor, very tender and juicy ! I also ordered 3 loaded baked potato’s with Sliced Brisket on Top @ $12 each, Outstanding & very reasonably priced. “Went for the first time on Sunday. Upon entering, we approached the check in/ cashier desk. Wait staff were walking back & forth as we stood & no one said a word. No greeting, not we will be right with you. Not a word! One young lady ( Wish I would have gotten her name) she was sitting right there, preparing serving utensils. She did not say a word as we stood there. I've never felt so uncomfortable, unwelcome, & disregarded! Never! Finally, another wait staff that was helping over at the check out computer, walked over & asked the young lady who was sitting there to assist us! Still, not a word to us! The young lady stood up & with the worse attitude, she asked did we want to sit inside or outside. While I was asking my husband his preference, she rolled her eyes & and rudely asked , " Inside or out!? Again, I wish I had asked her name, but she appeared to be the youngest. Between being disregarded as we walked in & stood, and her attitude, I told my husband I was uncomfortable & wanted to leave! He pushed back & said let's give it a chance beyond this! So we stayed & were seated outside as we preferred. Then comes our waitress! What a pleasant surprise & she turned our experience around! We learned that she had not been there but 3 days or 3 weeks. ( I forget) her name is Amanda & she is pregnant. She's such a pleasant & nice person! We felt badly for sitting outside, because she worked so diligently. It was quite a walk in the heat, because we chose to sit outside on the pier that was a bit of a walk. Again, she was so pleasant & professional! The drinks & food are superb! From the oyster 🦪 appetizers, to the platters! Delicious! Some of the best seafood & side orders, ever! Truly! Drinks are flavorful, delicious, and they aren't stingy or scarce with the liquor. 😆 I would absolutely visit again, but truly afraid of the treatment, unless it's Amanda again“

We've ordered from JB's for over 13 years. Never had an issue!!! Never had bad food or bad service or an issue with the prices.
The staff is super friendly! The delivery lady has practically watched my kids grow up lol

“We stopped by for lunch on a Friday after fishing, mainly because we had seen this spot on TikTok and we were close by. The atmosphere is really inviting and laid-back—you can seat yourself either inside or outside on the spacious patio. Since the weather was nice, we chose to sit outside, and it was a plus that every table had its own fan. Another thing we appreciated was that it’s a 21+ establishment. Parking was easy and there was plenty available.

For food, we started with the oysters, which were on special. Unfortunately, they were small and served warm, which was a bit disappointing. For entrées, we ordered the shrimp po’boy and the chicken fried steak. The po’boy wasn’t what we expected—just five shrimp served on a hot dog bun, which felt underwhelming. On the other hand, the chicken fried steak was excellent. The batter was crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely the highlight of the meal.

Service was friendly and attentive—our waitress was very nice. My only wish is that she would’ve mentioned how small the po’boy was before we ordered.

Overall, despite some misses with the food, the atmosphere and the chicken fried steak stood out. We’d give it another try and would be willing to go back.“

My only suggestion is to change the decor in the restaurant. The way the food tastes, this deserves to look like a fine dining restaurant. “We love going to T-Bone Toms! We go during lunch and sit inside and when they have a band we sit outside. That gives you 2 different levels of dining experiences and both are great. There is a large variety of food choices, everyone can get something they love. Plus the wait staff are always welcoming. Brian is pretty much a family member at this point and we love his upbeat personality. He’s always hustling to get everyone taken care of and provides exceptional service. My husband usually gets the steak finger basket with mashed potatoes and gravy. Honestly, I just tried the mashed potatoes and brown gravy 2 days ago and realized that I’ve been missing out for more than 30 years. So, I went back yesterday to make sure I make up for it. I usually get the Cobb salad. It’s huge and has so many different toppings. It’s the best salad in the area, to me. The kids switch out their order every time but you can’t go wrong with the burger, chicken strips, ribs… even Mac and cheese. If you like a Hershey Cream pie…they have a chocolate pie that is amazing too. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.“

Deviled eggs 4/5, Fried crab sandwich 4/5 and fries 5/5, crab tower 2/5 [ it lacked seasoning and it was dry needing a drizzle of ranch or something to enhance the flavor, I remember this dish tasting better in the past], Oysters Rockefeller 0/5 due to the metallic taste but the manager removed it from the bill 👌🏿, the steak 3/5 it lacked seasoning and was more rare than medium as requested, lemon drops 🍸3/5 sweet but no alcohol....“
