“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. “I love the course. Very reasonable PLP membership. Great practice facilities. The PLP membership is extremely popular. It does create slow play from 2pm to sunset.
The new practice putting green is very large. Half of it is an 18-hole putting course. Also, five track man type devices have recently been installed on the right -side of the driving range. The staff is friendly and professional. The pro shop is connected to a restaurant and bar that overlook number 9 and 18 greens. Love you guys.
Ps. Due to the heavy play, bare areas on fairways are currently being replaced with new turf. Most likely will be ready for play in a couple months.“

“Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on I-35E in Denton is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their brisket is tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokiness, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are just as good—mac & cheese, baked potato casserole, and fried okra are absolute must-haves.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The place is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.“
