“Go here. If you go anywhere to eat in DFW area, let it be this place. The first true farm to table restaurant that puts its heart and soul into everything they make. We were blown away by every cocktail and dish we had, but the star of the show was the Tea Braised Pig Tails (pictured below). As a farmer and a butcher, I have no idea where they source these magical, massive pig tails, but they are 100% the best tasting thing I've put in my mouth in Dallas since we came. In all my (16 total) years in bars and restaurants, I've never been more impressed by a single bartender. This guy is lacto fermenting, dehydrating, infusing, & manipulating different ingredients in incredible ways that deserve as much credit as the kitchen. Honestly, the combination of a passionate chef and a passionate bartender make this place hands down the best spot in DFW. I wish more places were ethically sourcing ingredients and using more of the animals they serve, as this place has so perfectly achieved. If they were closer, I'd probably be trying to do business with them in some manner.“

“I recently had a wonderful date night with my boyfriend at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and promptly seated. Our waiter, Jacy, was amazing and helped us choose our cocktails while explaining everything on the menu in detail. When our food arrived, it was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had such a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place!“

It still feels like a historic estate but with contemporary comfort. The grounds are well-kept and impressive, and my room was comfortable and stylish. The bar was a highlight, serving great drinks—the margarita was a standout. The restaurant delivered solid food with a good wine selection to match. Service was top-notch, from the valet to the staff, everyone was friendly and attentive. I’d highly recommend this place for a memorable stay in Dallas.“

This flagship store will be closing after the Holidays, and we will return again before the store officially closes. The service is impeccable. Victor is OUTSTANDING and has been with Neiman Marcus for over 20 plus years. The iconic popovers and strawberry butter and chicken broth in a demitasse cup make it a special experience. You can dine in other Neiman Marcus locations across the country, but none will ever be what the Zodiac room is on the 6th floor in this historic Dallas store.“

“Came in for lunch, I live near by but have never dined and decided to take my friend out for a quick lunch while they visited. Overall the food was amazing and the drinks were great too. Nice portion sizes and attentive staff. The crab cake melt and chili we're stand outs, being from Miami and having authentic ceviche was a bit disappointed in their rendition of the dish but I'm in Texas so I didn't expect much 😅. Overall would highly recommend stopping bye for a bite, I will definitely be back.“

“Midnight rambler never disappoints! Each time I visit, I experience a place that’s both familiar, and refreshing. The familiarity of the upscale vintage design is a perfect complement to the amazing cocktails and cuisine served by bartenders such as Zack, and midnight ramblers attention to detail from the door to its servers. However the eclectic clientele, and funky beats keep the Vibes fresh daily. If you’re fortunate, you’ll visit on a night when the final layer of drapes are open, taking the night to anther level with Midnight Rambler’s clandestine bar; I hope I’m there with you, Xoxo Lorenzo!“

“Listen….my wife and I are suckers for non big name dining. So tonight we were able to go on a date night for the first time in over a year and I happened to find this restaurant on accident looking for a different one. THE. BEST. mistake I’ve ever made. I got a reservation for the patio area and it did not disappoint. It’s quiet and cozy with a great view of the restaurant interior and we were off to the races at that point. The gentleman who took care of us tonight was a younger guy by the name of Elliott. While he told us he was new to The Porch, you would have never known. His knowledge of the menu was incredible and we didn’t have a question he couldn’t answer. The food was unparalleled and while I would say at this point that you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu: I will absolutely vouch for the food we got that I would say are must try dishes. -Cornbread Fritters -basically hushpuppies made with cornbread, jalapeño and cheddar cheese then deep fried and served with a spicy mayo. (Don’t let the dip fool you. Neither of us are mayo fans. But I would buy an entire jar of that) -Giant Handmade pretzel. It’s as advertised. -Shortrib Stroganoff…this was my dinner and it was incredible. It’s exactly what you think. It’s a stick to the ribs, hearty meal that will fill you up or give you leftovers for a day or two. -The Standard Burger…again. As advertised. It is THE standard. And be ready, you will need both hands and a fork lift to eat it. If you like pickles, the bread and butter pickles are hands down the best pickles I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The drinks were fantastic as well. I always use an old fashioned to gage the bar and restaurant. It exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Folks, you can’t go wrong here. I would highly recommend The Porch to anyone to try. My wife snd I will be back as frequently as we can. The management is incredible and so is the whole experience! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Cedar & Vine is our favorite neighborhood spot! It is kid-friendly, the food quality is great, and service is always excellent. The kid's menu has great options at very reasonable prices. For the adults, the cocktails are excellent and the chef specials are always delicious and unique. We are very regular customers and are so thankful for this little gem in Lake Highlands.“

“I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this place since going there since 2018 or 2019. I’ve always been a fan of this bar.

I’ve moved to multiple residing cities since I’ve been back in Texas and I always find my way back to this bar. I live in Oklahoma now. But I’m close to the Texas border and I made my way to Dallas just so I can eat here again.

Their drinks are delicious. But their food has always been phenomenal to say the least.

Their fish and chips is to die for.

I remember when they had bacon mayo and it was sooooooo good. Unfortunately it was discontinued some years ago.

But I still manage to come by this place every now and then. Definitely one of my favorite Dallas spots.“

“Came here for the first time on my husband's birthday and was blown away by our experience. Our server, Raoul, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make it a special evening--from a card signed by the staff to a birthday candle + complimentary night cap, we truly felt honored and celebrated. Cocktails were excellent and there were so many delicious-looking dishes on the menu it was hard to choose! We landed on the rabbit pappardelle and a duck leg special, both of which were cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Far from your typical dinner fare, we were truly impressed by the complexity of the flavors and the level of care in the execution. The atmosphere was stylish, sophisticated, and romantic with great music and thoughtful lighting. Can't recommend this place enough and very much look forward to returning to celebrate special occasions for years to come. Our warmest thanks to the entire staff!“
