“The last time I was there I ordered the chicken enchilada stack; it was delicious. Others ordered burgers, which left me with food envy. The previous visit was highly disappointing. I ordered the Korean Ribeye... I would have needed shears to cut through it. Seriously, I couldn't eat it and left hungry. The waitress was nice, but should have asked why I left nearly 20 ounces on the plate.“

“This was a cool little find. We were treated like royalty by our server Rachel for being first-timers. The venue itself is cute with an outdoor patio in addition to indoor booths and tables. The French Onion Soup was very tasty and a bit different - topped with puff pastry rather than cheese, but the cheese was still nice and gooey inside the soup. My wife said her tenderloin salad was good. We both enjoyed her blackberry smash. We live in Garland so we won't get there often, but it will stay in our radar when we're in the area.“

To kick off my visit, a Maker’s Old Fashioned - bourbon, vanilla tincture, house bitters and orange twist. Truly, one of the better OF’s I’ve had in a long while. And I did take notice of the beautiful big cube! As oft the case when visiting a place for the first time, I narrow the menu down to two choices, and ask for the server’s guidance. Last night, it was between the Cajun Roasted Snapper and the Steak Frites. Jaqueline steered me toward Steak Frites for the WIN. Steak Frites with sun-dried tomato compound butter, and Mack’s steak fries. Medium rare. Perfectly seasoned. So good. I tip my hat to Jacqueline and the Barkeep for an outstanding experience.
