“Tried Vegan Food House for the first time while visiting from out of town, and the food was absolutely amazing. The flavors were bold, seasoned perfectly, and honestly some of the best vegan comfort food I’ve had. You definitely don’t feel like you’re missing anything, everything was satisfying and full of flavor.

The only downside was parking, it was pretty difficult to find, especially not being familiar with the area. Just something to plan for if you’re visiting.

“5 stars all around for Wild Salsa in downtown Dallas. Visited a few weeks ago, and we arrived after the noon rush as we were told they can be rather busy during peak times. We both chose taco dishes, with my wife having Wild Tacos and I chose the Grilled Mahi Mahi. The meals came with cilantro rice and black beans as well as chips and salsa verde. Couldn't have been happier with our meals. Lot's of flavor, the food arrived hot and was presented well.

If you follow us, you know we travell lots, and I need to add that the restrooms were both pretty clean and tidy. So very impoortant for travellers. Keep up the good work, Wild Salsa“

“We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Sachet. Even without reservations, the restaurant manager, Belen, went above and beyond to make sure we were seated and well taken care of. Her warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for the evening, and the customer service throughout our visit was top notch.

The drinks were excellent. My Aperol Spritz was perfectly balanced, and my husband enjoyed a lovely Nebbiolo from their thoughtfully curated wine list.

The food was incredible across the board. The roasted cauliflower with citrus, olives, black chickpeas, hummus, and almond gremolata was bursting with flavor and easily one of my favorite takes on roasted cauliflower. The marinated olives were the perfect starter and paired beautifully with our drinks. The tagliatelle with lump crab, fresno chile, marcona almonds, and mint was rich, elegant, and cooked perfectly. The Texas Wagyu steak frites was incredibly tender and a true standout.

Every bite was memorable and absolutely worthy of a return visit. We loved our experience so much that, at Belen’s recommendation, we also dined at their sister restaurant, Gemma. If you’re looking for elevated Mediterranean cuisine with exceptional service, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back.🤗“

The waiter or waitress have a nerve to ask for additional tips, but you don’t know that they already charge you gratuity and asking for more money. I don’t think this is fair and right to do. “My partner and I came down to Dallas from OKC to celebrate our anniversary weekend. My partner has a severe gluten allergy so we always look for places that can accommodate that need. Our server, Matt, was incredible. He pointed out all the items that couldn’t be made gluten free. He answered all of our questions with confidence and clarity. We felt so comfortable with our selections. As for the food, OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! It was INCREDIBLE!!! You could have fooled me that it was gluten free (I know it was because I didn’t have to take my partner to the hospital)! Not only did the give us an amazing meal, but they brought out a special, gluten free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We also were given some gift cards as a thank you for celebrating our anniversary there. “Al Biernat's North needs no introduction. It carries a reputation for top-notch food and a dining experience orchestrated by an attentive staff. But this latest visit was especially gratifying for us because, well, it essentially was a "break glass in case of emergency" moment. Long story short, our original plans this evening fell apart at the very last minute. (Without naming names, let's just say there's a particular steakhouse and seafood destination in Addison that might want to take a closer look at their reservation-booking software... but I digress.) We knew Al Biernat's North was less than two miles away and we decided to try our luck at getting a table. Now, even though we were last at this Al Biernat's six days ago, their menu is so varied, their service is so refined and the atmosphere is so invigorating, that we did not mind coming here twice in the same week. Quite the contrary; we were jazzed to be able to do so. Because, really, the fantastic service starts from the minute you walk in the door. I've commented on the front desk staff before but it bears repeating that they are quite excellent in greeting guests and providing an awesome "first impression" for everyone walking through the door. We were also quite fortunate to be seated with Tanner, who remains an absolute marvel of a server. Quick with the service and able to project a positivity that could fill the entire Owl Room (which, by the way, having never been seated in the Owl Room until now... I really dig it!), Tanner continues to be an essential member of the Al Biernat's North team. Sincerest thanks and appreciation to the team here for not only rescuing our evening plans, but for also making for an exceptional night out. (And shout out to Tanner for suggesting to take the remains of my Steak Miguel to go - that stuff was delicious the next day at breakfast!)“

It’s definitely the best in the DFW metroplex and the fact that they’ve been around for almost 40 years is a testament to their quality and service. “I was very skeptical of ordering gelato from Cavier, especially with it being located 8 miles (17 minutes) away, but me and my husband were needing something sweet and I went ahead and placed an order for 2 small gelatos. This was our first time trying this place also. When the order first went through, it said it was gonna take about 30 mins to get here and then it changed to 42 minutes, so I was thinking... ”Great, it’s gonna get here all melted”. Luckily it ended up being delivered within 30 minutes but still it was a long time for it being gelato. We opened the bag and it was BEYOND my expectations. It was packed in a big styrofoam container ( I was thinking it was gonna be in a very small Paciugo like container). I opened the top of the styrofoam lid and then removed the nicely placed cover and unveiled the most delicious, STILL FROZEN, gelato. 😊 Can’t wait to order more in the future! Definitely worth it!“

“We came in to celebrate a 70th birthday. Everything was great. The manager and wait staff assisted with our accommodations that allowed our group tables to be near each other. We enjoyed the food and the service was 1st class. I have dines here a few times before and the service remains top class. The food was awesome from the appetizers to the main course . “Service and presentation were good. The food, however, seemed to be made to be more friendly to non-Vietnamese eaters.

The meat and dipping sauce in their version of Bun cha Hanoi were salty compared to what you would have in Hanoi. Vietnamese food, especially in Hanoi, is known for its lightness so that some would find it tasteless without modification.

Their Bun Bo Hue had too much of lemongrass flavor, maybe to mask the shrimp paste that would be repugnant to the uninitiated.

I would recommend this restaurant as an entry to Vietnamese cuisine.“
