This place is great for seafood. Atmosphere consists of hard working people enjoying an adult beverage along with their food. Self seating. No servers per say. They work as a team. If you can’t get a seat at the bar, you will sit facing the glass. However you just place your order across the bar and customers. Food is always good. I had catfish and shrimp with fries. I also had gumbo. This is a no frills restaurant but food is pleasantly good and good portion. I haven’t managed to have an adult beverage as I only have gone during lunch. But they look good and everyone is day drinking when you come for lunch.“

“I love going to this restaurant when i’m on a budget for seafood boil. You get what you pay for a more. I love their Eazy to Peel shrimp combo along with their fries. The customer service was great as well. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because the potatoes from the boil could be a hit or miss. Sometimes, it has a metallic taste but most of the times it doesn’t. Overall, great restaurant when you’re on a budget for seafood boil.“

“OMG!!! Kim's is ?? the best fried fish I done had since I been in Houston! Really everything I had was good. The shrimp and shrimp fried rice! All of it wasn't my food, I was with my best friend so I had to sample his food too lol but seriously the wait is worth it because they cook to order. So have a seat a wait that little 10-15 minutes because for my 1st time eating there it was so worth the wait!“

My husband got the stuffed red fish and for the first time ever couldn’t eat it all. I recommend sharing an entree so you can save room for dessert which I hear the bread pudding is delicious. I just didn’t have room“
