The food was ordered from Trinty Groves Kithen and sent directly to us very quickly. My husband had Cuban Torta and I had the grilled salmon sandwich, both of them were amazing and the French fries were so crispy and good. This is a Dallas Airport treasure that is very hidden. It was so nice to sit in peace and quiet, with not the bumping of people and the craziness. It was wonderful and like I said awesome waitress Laura so friendly and efficient. Relaxing atmosphere.“

My go to here is the chicken noodle bowl. It is always piping hot with fresh white meat chicken, vegetables and noodles. I could literally survive off this meal. I can genuinely say that this is a very healthy well prepared meal.

I also enjoy the sesame balls, they are always made to order and very fresh. I have also had the spicy tofu ( amazing), the dumplings ( also great). I usually toggle between the green tea and soda but always have a glass of water near by in case I add in some chili sauce to my meal.

“My family and I celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday at Truluck’s in Southlake, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
We had a reservation for 7:15 PM for a fairly large group of nine people. Our table wasn’t quite ready when we arrived because the party before us needed a little extra time, and since we were a big group there weren’t many tables that could accommodate us. The manager, Mike, came over personally to apologize for the delay and told me he wanted to make sure my mom had a memorable birthday celebration.
We were seated around 7:30 PM—honestly only about 15 minutes late, which didn’t bother me at all—but Mike insisted on sending complimentary appetizers while we waited. I told him it wasn’t necessary, but he very politely insisted. To our surprise he sent six appetizers: two shrimp cocktails, two crab cakes, and two orders of calamari. It was incredibly generous and such a classy gesture.
Our server Kyle was spectacular. He was friendly, attentive, and handled a table of nine with ease. Service like that makes a big difference, and he absolutely delivered.
The food and wine were phenomenal. The seafood was incredibly fresh and the steaks were excellent. I had the shrimp and scallop sauté and added an 8 oz filet because I couldn’t decide—no regrets. The Parker House rolls were a massive hit with the table (buttery, warm, slightly crisp on the outside), and we ended up ordering four baskets.
To top off the evening, they surprised us with two complimentary Baked Alaska desserts that were big enough for the entire table to share—not just the birthday girl.
I can’t say enough about how well Mike and Kyle treated our family. They went above and beyond to make my mom’s 70th birthday special.
Truluck’s Southlake is now our go-to spot for special occasions. We’ll absolutely be back.“

The first and previous time, we hit the buffet right at opening at 1130 am. Everything was hot, fresh, and plentiful. Was really impressed with staff, decor, and ambience. Food was well above average. It's clear they are trying very hard. My/our 2nd visit, party of 3, was at ~130 pm. Few items were out. Sadly, the other 2 in the party found the experience below my earlier top billing. Most of my fav dishes: The few tandoori chicken remaining were stone cold. The butter chicken ran out. The goat curry ran out the 2nd trip to the table. What came subsequently was not the same taste, subpar. Perhaps the management can address these issues and consider this as genuinely helpful feedback. Restaurant biz is notorious for these issues that slowly creep in. I did note the manager talk and motion to his employee to keep up with replenishment in a timely manner on my request. Given the great first visit, and two carry-outs from their 2nd location, we would consider another review after management addresses these issues. The most recent visit was a letdown. Cheers!!“

“8.14.2025 - I've eaten at Blaze Pizza a number of times but my Army battle buddy had never so, we shared a pizza. I like mine with the spicy marinara sauce, pepperoni, pineapples, arugula, spinach, green bell peppers, and three types of cheese. She added chicken and mushrooms. After it came out, I added the garlic oil. I of course loved it because it was spicy but I removed the mushrooms. She ate it but didn't care for the spiciness of it and she removed the bell peppers and pineapples.

“We have been dining at this wonderful family-owned business for for 12 years now. As we have moved farther and farther away, we still make our way over there periodically because their margherita pizza is our all-time favorite. Tonight we went back for first time in over a year and the owner pulled me aside and asked if she could speak to me. She said the last time we were in there (again, over a year ago) they had accidentally mixed up our check with another table and over-charged us by $12.62. She even showed me the checks that she had saved, knowing we would be back. She credited our meal back what we had over-paid a year ago. Y’all! This does not happen! We will always be loyal customers, even though we currently have to drive an hour to get there. Oh! And you can’t go wrong with the margherita pizza (or the spinach ravioli)!“
