“Aun is doing something right. This is the quintessential hometown donut shop that not only delivers delicious food, but a sense of community and camaraderie. The sweet smell of fresh donuts hits you instantly upon entering. Don’t get me wrong, this place is no frills; what you see is what you get, but what you get is damn good. The kolaches are pillowy soft and the donuts melt in your mouth. I understand why their parking lot is always full whenever I drive by.“

“I LOVEEEEEEE this place! The owners are very nice. The taste is very consistent. My favs are the sausage cheese and jalapeño kolache, bacon egg & cheese (the jam on it is chefs kiss) and their glazed donuts!! The only thing I can say is I wish they were open all day LOL. Definitely my go to here in Dickinson. Also, make sure you don’t let the lady at the counter bypass the tip option if you’re paying with card. She does that alot and it’s very well deserved!!!!!!“

“Lady is a super sweet heart the guy that works there needs some work with his demeanor their hours are just a mere suggestion because I went in at 5:30 sign says they open at 5:00 but the guy that was there would not help me he ignored mebut every other time I've been in there mid morning it seems to be okay but if you go too early or too late you're not getting much of a selection“

“I ordered a dozen donuts for my niece’s 10th bday (to build into a “cake” lol). I asked for as many pink frosted donuts as possible and they delivered with all pink frosted donuts, a birthday note, AND an extra donut for me. The donuts were delicious and the extra touches were so appreciated! It’s becoming fewer and far between to have such a great customer service experience. Thank you!“
“We have been coming to this place for over a decade. We have since moved out of state, but every time we come to the area we have to go. Have yet to find donuts and kolaches as good anywhere else with a great price and friendly service. Their glazed donuts are hands down the best, and so are their kolaches.“

“Hands down the best donut shop in town. I work in the restaurant industry and I tend to be critical of things like quality of food, service and atmosphere. Riley’s astounds me every time I go in. The food is crazy good, better even than the gourmet donut shops in the area, their kolaches don’t get nearly enough credit, and the service is always so helpful and friendly.
I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. It’s family owned and operated by the nicest couple you could ever hope to meet and they truly understand the concept of supporting their local community. I love this place and highly recommend it.“

“I’m not really a donut person but I’m slightly addicted to the “kolaches” (non-traditional) that these guys make. Get the large kolache here, any flavor, and you won’t be disappointed! Best in town in my opinion. Also, the staff is always really friendly. 😊“

“This shop is very clean, and the staff is friendly. They have an impressive drink selection, and the fresh apple fritters are worth bragging about. If it has a hole, they will inject chocolate in it for you. Don't forget to tip; these wizards are making you magical noms.“

“Billy is amazing!! He is open every day. Even during the hurricane. The muffins, doughnuts, egg sandwiches and breakfast tacos are made fresh everyday. We especially love the blueberry muffins and the bacon or sausage egg and cheese crescents. He opens very early so you have time to go by before work. He usually closes around 1:00 pm. He almost daily sells out of everything. Go by, try it and get a warm smile and greeting from Billy or his wife.“

But don’t let the small selection of food and plain decor fool you, this location houses the freshest donuts and kolaches in town hosted by the nicest lady ever behind the counter. (She gave us extra donut holes and even an extra croissant kolache!)

“Wow! I go to the smoke shop next door and always after noon to evening when this place is closed. I decided to pop in Sunday before they closed and I was extremely happy I went in. The donuts and kolaches look amazing. I bought a Ham egg cheese crossiant and 2 cake donuts. The crossiant was so fresh and buttery and delicious. I will be a regular from now on. This is now my Donut shop from now on unless I move to another city. Love this place!!!“

“I would say that this is a hidden gem but it's really a gem that MANY people know and visit...just off the beaten path a little. It happens to be on our bike route, so we often stop then as well as anytime wifey and I head out of town. Very friendly "staff" (family) and always clean. Food is great (coffee good too). I'm a kolache person, so they have a good selection. Seating is adequate as well.“

Parking: When you go in the morning rush it might be hard to get parking but the wait is worth it“

Parking: The small strip center has gas pumps taking up part of the lot, and there's parking for four businesses. So, there are not a lot of spaces, but I have always found a space.
Kid-friendliness: The store is quiet and small, but there's no kid zone.“

“I always get the sausage biscuit- the bread is a mix between donut and biscuit and so good. Fresh egg that I am lucky enough to get still warm as early as I go! Once they gave me a dozen donuts to bring to the nurses when my mom was in the hospital. I will continue to come here as long as they are open. The donuts are fantastic. I tried donuts/kolaches at 6 different places until I found this one - and it’s been my go-to ever since!“

“I live in Ireland and I ordered doughnuts from Ashley’s through Uber Eats to be delivered to my dad (who lives in Clear Lake) for his 70th birthday! I mentioned in the order it was for a birthday and the very kind people at Ashley’s went above and beyond writing Happy Birthday messages on the package and even making a little handmade card! They threw in some extra doughnuts and even packaged one separately decorated with a birthday candle!! In these harder times Ashley’s has provided amazing service and made a birthday surprise feel extra special! Thank you and we will be sure to visit in person again when we can!! PS my dad said the doughnuts were delicious - a great treat!“

“Donald's Donuts is our favorite donut shop and we've been coming here for years.
The food is excellent, especially the brisket kolaches and the breakfast tacos, the donuts are always fresh and delicious, and the service is outstanding! The people who work here are incredibly lovely, friendly, and so kind. The prices are very fair too!
