Got some jalapeño and cheese kolaches and they were very good too i just prefer when the jalapeños are in small pieces and not sliced but that's just myself. A friend of mine introduced me to Val's Cheesecake, and I've been hooked since. I've tried the Lovers Lane (Red Velvet), It's Britney, Peach, and the classic Strawberry cheesecake. The peach is definitely my favorite and the red velvet is a close second! The texture and flavors are perfectly combined. We had the crawfish hush puppies, i had raw oysters which the bartender/waitress helped pick all were awesome. My wife had the gumbo and i had the scallop pasta special. So I had ordered the banana pie cookie, pink velvet cookie, chocolate chip cookie and cookie butter white chip. Omg! They were so delicious! We loved them! And not too mentioned how huge they are. So I had to cut mom and I small pieces from each one to sample. I can't pick one as my favorite, because I love all of them. “Tried this Peach cobbler and it was All That!! It’s was filled with plenty of peaches as you can see the crust was also cooked just like my Granny use to bake it. There’s a full bar with specialty cocktails, beer, and wine. Apparently there’s a parking lot across the street and there’s a little bit of street parking in front. I bought chicken salad sandwich combo with grapes & chips, bowl of corn shrimp Cajun chowder, and bottle of water for $21. Prices are reasonable compared to other places and customer service was friendly, I went during times after lunch hour rush around 1:45pm so place empty.“
