“Enjoyed a few beers at the bar on a Friday evening and ordered dinner. Although they were out of several things that we had originally wanted, we settled for burgers and fries and I'm so glad we did! It was an old fashioned burger with juice dripping down your fingers! The fries were crisp and abundant. Definitely will be back on a stop on the bikes again!“

“You'd miss it if you weren't looking for it...this "gas station" is filled with shopping and homemade food! We had hot pancakes and eggs for breakfast and if you need anything from shoes, clothes, toys, and mini vehicles they've got it!“

“I was questioning this place as I was pulling up. I saw a basic, square building. All that changed as I stepped up to the door. Even before I stepped in the smell of deliciousness tickled my nose. The inside decor made me feel like I was in a cozy farmhouse. We ordered the Rill Tide Fries and a regular burger. Everything was good. One item that I wish they had was Roll Tide Tators. Just a thought guys. I will definitely have to order a double double next time.“

“Came in with my bestie and SIX kids all under 10 years old. Everyone was very kind and accommodating despite the fact our rugrats were bouncing off the walls. Very affordable (seriously, 5.99 for a kids meal that come in a little car?! Love it!) I will definitely stop again next time I’m in Waco! “

“The dry aged steak was super good! One of the better steaks I’ve had in a while. But the bacon slab appetizer was not great. Came out cold and just didn’t taste that good. The service was excellent! We loved our server. Atmosphere was dated. Needs a bit of a makeover. The bud lights and various cheap beers on display above the bar seem like an odd choice.“

“Dave's food trailer was in Mexia, Tx on Wednesday, April 17th and it was my first time stopping by for food. It came highly recommended by a co-worker. I ordered a double-meat cheeseburger with mustard, extra lettuce & diced onions, and a large order of home fries, and a coke from the sweetest lady in the world. She asked me if this was my first time eating there from the truck and I told her it was my first time trying Dave's Burgers at all. The man cooking, I assume was "Dave" said, "Well we welcome you and thanks for stopping!" She gave me a bunch of business card magnets to pass out where I work. When I got to work, I opened my bag of food at the front gate and shared some of those fries with the guy at the front gate. He was like, "OMG! Those are those good fries! Those homemade ones!" Yes! They were amazing and had a small bite of sweetness to them. I couldn't wait to taste my burger. When I got to my office, I wolfed down a few more handfuls of fries then unwrapped my burger. I was like , I couldn't believe the monster burger I had there. I know it must have been 2/3 pounds of meat on there with 2 perfectly melted slices of American cheese. My bun was perfectly toasted, the perfect amount of mustard was on there as well as my extra shredded lettuce and diced onions. The meat patties were seasoned deliciously with what tasted like a garlic, salt, & pepper blend, maybe a little onion powder too. Whatever seasonings they used made me come to realize that I had just eaten the best burger I had ever eaten in my life. It was so big it made me two meals out of it that day cause I cut it in half. Next time, I will definitely order me two orders of fries. One to eat then and one to save for later because they were the type of fries you could reheat and they'd be just as good as when I got them fresh, unlike those hard fast food matchsticks that you have to eat in 5 minutes or less. Overall, I have to thank my stomach for telling me to stop at Dave's. I go to Waco once a month for my doctor, but now I can look forward to seeing Dave's Burgers food trailer in Mexia. Thanks y'all for bringing Waco's BEST burger to our small town. I certainly appreciate y'all and look forward to seeing you both again.“

“I have to yell from the rooftop how amazing the service and food is at LA Fiesta. There is one particular person I really want to shout out also. Everytime I see her I call her AWESOME!!! Her customer service skills are spot on and she will get you right everytime. SADE that's my girl come check her out on $2 Magarita Tuesdays at the bar. As this generation says she is a whole vibe. Don't believe me? Come by for yourself especially on a Tuesday and watch my girl work and keep you satisfied. I had to shout her out just to give her roses an individual. “Drove from Round Rock to meet up with family and get some get BBQ. It was our first visit but don't be our last! We arrived before the rest of our group and had a great conversation with the owner while we waited. He was extremely welcoming and friendly. I had the sausage and brisket with coleslaw and pinto beans...all very delicious. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially for BBQ. It's a simple and humble locale, but clean and hospitable. Definitely a great place to take the family, and was with the drive.“

“The lady who helped us was outstanding! She gave my son some suggestions on what type of wings flavors he should try, and he loved them. She even kept coming to check on him to see if he enjoyed them. My chicken sandwich was good, and my daughter enjoyed her chicken strips. “This is a good place for a good meal regardless if it's lunch or dinner. Good music, not to loud, plenty of room to walk and get around. I can't stand a restaurant that makes you feel like your not able to move or get out quick if need be.Salty dog has people of all sorts, super dressed up or just plain tshirts and jeans. The only reason I gave a 4 star on service is because there was only 1 waitress, she was super nice and handled things well for it to just be her. Food was VERY good! Slices of pizza are pretty large, a whole pizza comes in 2 sizes and can feed 3 adults (14")or 5 adults (20").Location is incredible.
