“There was a small line not too too busy. The ceiling was leaking from the vents that was scary. Hazardous and extremely dangerous with it without a wet floor sign. Our food was delicious and I am Glad I came back to Killeen I only wish another captain d’s would come back our way! Missing a piece of home. The young man in the purple shirt was very helpful and amazing the customer service is outstanding still and I wouldn’t change anything about the wonderful feeling of getting what I paid for #alabama“

“Decided on Good Friday to come to Our Place Restaurant (Burleson) for an early morning breakfast. It’s always crowded here, but seeing as they open at 6:00am wanted to give it a shot. People still waiting in the parking lot for an Open this early is telling about this community staple! Food is always fantastic. Got the jalapeño sausage skillet with a couple extra additions. Was promptly seated and served. My server Tracey is just simply an amazing person! Attentive/ caring / and extremely helpful. Honestly she made my morning! If you come here, ask for Tracey to serve you!“

“We had the best experience this weekend at Bonnell’s. Long story short we don’t go out to eat because my son has a lot of food allergies and it’s not easy to accommodate them. However it was his 13th birthday so we really wanted to celebrate. The chef worked with me prior to coming in and made sure my kiddo was able to have a wonderful and safe meal to celebrate a huge milestone. All of the staff were sweet and thoughtful as well. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm. I’m happy to forever brag on this restaurant!“

“We visited Press Café this past Sunday right after church, and as expected, the place was absolutely packed with a long wait for a table. However, we got incredibly lucky and managed to snag two spots right away at the bar, and it turned out to be the best seat in the house!

Despite how busy the restaurant was, the server behind the bar was exceptionally attentive, welcoming, and on top of everything. We were served our drinks and food remarkably fast, which was a wonderful surprise given the Sunday rush.

They have an incredible coffee selection and the daily menu is packed with fantastic options. Everything we ordered tasted absolutely delicious and was prepared perfectly. We had such a wonderful experience that we are already planning to return for an evening meal very soon. Highly recommend!“

“Old gas station turned burger joint. Burgers are great! They have sandwiches, salads, chicken and hot dogs too! Fries, tots, cheese stix and more for sides. Recently added tater kegz. Homemade desserts, ice cream and shakes to boot. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Burgers were great! We had a big party with 10 boys and sat upstairs. Helped keep our kids out of the locals way so they could enjoy their meals. Upstairs has a covered balcony. Sodas are not mainstream brand, the Root Beer is very good and the beer was cold!!“

“Had a lovely dinner here! The service was delightful, everyone was so warm and friendly, they offered great recommendations and fast service.

We came for dinner and had the whipped ricotta appetizer, which was phenomenal, we couldn’t shut up about it and want to try and make it at home! We also ordered the brisket french dip which was good and was a generous portion and spaghetti and meatballs which was good but nothing too crazy. Everything here tasted very fresh, made with great ingredients.

My only critique is I wish the menu was just a touch broader. I didn’t want a sandwich which limited me to 3 entree choices that I wasn’t particularly in the mood for but still enjoyed.“

“We hosted our rehearsal dinner at City Works Eatery and Pour House. Honestly nothing but great things from the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the staff. Colleen was so helpful throughout the planning process and she even came by on event day! They were flexible with us with possible rain on event day, but it all worked out perfect with the heaters on the patio. It was such a great evening thanks to the amazing team they have at City Works Clearfork! They made us feel like it was a small family dinner with hot meals and endless drinks while serving 100 of our guests. The team was professional, personable, and kind. I couldn't recommend more. We had a blast.“

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty.She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

The pinto beans are delicious as well but they need to put cornbread on the menu because beans and cornbread are a southern staple. Also, homemade pie would be a definite crowd pleaser……I would pie a slice of pie every time I go!“

“We were lucky enough to get a table for 3 at 6:30 on a Saturday night. I believe our servers name was Rudy (sorry if that's not right). Anyways he was great explaining the menu, his favorites, and popular dishes. We went with the gargonzola fries and the apricot brie with pita. Loved the fries but wish the cheese was spread out more over the fries. Only half the fries were topped which led to half just being normal waffle fries. Great taste and idea but execution could be a little better. I did not care for the brie but I'm not a fan of that. The rest of the table loved it so I would have to day it was good. Lol. I had the poblano burger for my entree. They cook it well done so I was worried but it was juicy and tasted very good. It was actually better than I expected! It also was served with fries. Washed it all down with the German pilsner which was really good and refreshing as well. Service was top notch and the pace of the meal was perfect. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back to try other dishes.“

“Today, 9 Nov 24, my wife and myself stopped at Cotton Patch. It was cool outside so we asked for coffee. Waiter informed us that the coffee machine was broke and had been for over two weeks. So my wife asked for hot cocoa. But they don’t serve hot cocoa. But the meal was very good.“

“We reserved a party room for a Bridesmaid's luncheon last Friday. Reata does an A+ job. Working with McKynlea was a delight. We chose a limited menu, including several delicious gluten free choices. She sent me a sample menu ahead of time for my approval. Carae was our waitress and did an exceptional job. We also had a table in the main dining room for half a dozen of the husbands who insisted on coming to have the special tamales, and bison burgers! They too loved the food and had excellent service. I cannot recommend Reata more highly. We live several hours from Ft Worth, and are looking for more opportunities to come again! Thank you Reata staff for adding to our wedding celebration.
