Love the way it’s set up, a mix of tables and cozy seating at the fireplace (bring back a sofa!) and of course a pool table. It really is our favorite little neighborhood bar.“

However the female bartender who is often there- with the dark hair, not the one with the cool funky style- is just always seeming bothered or rude. I know she doesn’t owe me niceness, but it seems like maybe I annoyed her with my 1-4$ tip per drink. I thought like a 1 on beer, 3 per cocktail sort of vibe was okay but maybe is not enough for her. I tended bar for a long time so it always confuses me and the other staff here and at Reflections seems always cool. This would be my “cheers” if it felt welcome. Especially is hard in a place like TX where that’s pretty much the only bar I’d like to go to.“

“Had some Christmas Cheer. Drinks aren't cheap, but they are well made, the staff is helpful, the atmosphere is cozy bar dive. Great place to hang out with friends. We went on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded. However, weekends can be a little more difficult to navigate.“

“We were in Ft Worth for my daughter’s bachelorette party Saturday July 13th 2024. We had an email sent to us about large party requirements when we added one xtra person to our reservation we had had for month. The large party requirements were not possible for us we had 12 in our party. We then cancelled our reservation. Decided to stop in to get one of their famous espresso martini. I decided to go to the hostess to ask about our email. She went to get the manager. We told her what happened and that we canceled our reservation also we were so looking forward to this special dinner for my daughter. Emilee the manager listened checked into a few things and explained everything to us. She then told us to be there Saturday at 6:00pm. She wanted to make this right. We arrived at 97 West at 6:00 pm. We were treated with smiles then lead to a private room. The food atmosphere service were out of this world. Emilee and Patricio went out of their way to accommodate and make this night special. Thanks to both for making her night special. Defiantly if your in the area go there. Emilee even gave her a luggage tag with her initials MU. A guy was branding them outside and a congratulations dessert. Definitely went out of their way for us. We will definitely be back if we get to to the stock yards again. ❤️❤️“

It was an absolutely great experience and the staff was wonderful. Toni took care of us and did a marvelous job, Toni is the very the best ever! What a wonderful person. “My girlfriend and I had a little late night visit to this place. Great atmosphere. Staff and bartenders were very nice and welcoming, cold drinks and good mixed drink selections. I ordered a birria burrito (food truck is open as late as the bar is open) and I'm still thinking about this burrito... it came with a side of red hot sauce, grilled jalapeño and grilled onions, it was so GOOD. Needless to say this place checked a lot of boxes for a cool, little chill bar. highly recommend!“

“We made a reservation for dinner with friends and had a wonderful time! Dutchess has great cocktails and wine options, and the food is savory and filling. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. I was surprised it wasn't more busy, but we did have a late reservation on a Monday night. They've been open since May, and I'm already planning my next visit l.

We ordered a few appetizers and a salad to split, and each had a dinner entree, plus an order of the whipped potatoes to share. I spent about $100 for appetizers, wine, and a steak frites dinner. Would highly recommend the crispy ravioli, and we really enjoyed the eggplant & onion dip with the homemade chips and vegetables crudite, and the butter lettuce waldorf salad (we split it 4 ways, but it was large enough to be an entree or to split as a side with your mains...the miso caeser or wedge salads both looked delicious too!) I would love to try the snapper crudo or bone marrow appetizer next time.

For mains, our group ordered the steak frites au poivre, tagliatelle pasta, & jalapeno onion burger and all were delicious! I really enjoyed my steak, but next time I would taste the bricked chicken dish, or try a salad with the tagliatelle. The salmon also sounded really tempting! Even having a salad and order of the fried ravioli would be so good. I'm excited to go back and taste more of the menu. The plating was beautiful, but I didn't get any photos this time.

This would be a nice date night spot, or happy hour with heavy apps. I'd recommend a group of 2-4. The vibe was intimate & upscale. I would not recommend bringing kids. Parking was fairly easy, I found a street spot behind the BBQ place (just watch signs and DO NOT park in the reserved lots.) It's also an easy enough spot Uber and walk around/explore before or after dinner. Morgan's, Emporium, Atlas (and several watering holes) are all walkable from here. Would definitely check out the outdoor patio when the weather warms up!“
