“All you can eat fried shrimp and fish buffet on Wednesdays. I got shrimp with pinto beans, rice, mashed taters & gravy, and a little piece of cake. My buddy said, "I just want shrimp", so they tossed like 3 dozen on his plate! Good stuff Maynard! They'll load ya up with whatever you want, and let ya come back for more.“

“We went to Asiel‘s on veterans Day and it was such a great experience. We were seated right away and our waiter was very kind and accommodating. All of our meals came out super quickly and were really delicious. We can’t wait to go back!“

“My husband and I had a wonderful weekend here away from the city to celebrate our anniversary. The food was incredible! Bedroom at the bed and breakfast was clean and cozy! It’s a short drive to the beach and Lake Jackson. Karen and her employees were great hosts and the hospitality was incredible. We will definitely stop by again! Thank you!“

“Was in town for work and decided to give the Dairy Bar a try based on the good reviews. It did not disappoint! Burger was fresh and flavorful and the place looked put together and clean. Would definitely come back if I am ever down in Lake “

“My wife and I are regulars at the Pub. They have good food and we enjoy the bartender, Natalie. We went there 2 weeks ago on a Thursday and she wasn't working. We waited 10 minutes and left because nobody acknowledged us at all. This week we went on July 5th. Our favorite bartender was supposed to be there. However, we learned that the young manager caused a scene by approaching her on her day off, in front of other employees and customers. That's no way to manage employees. I won't be a regular again until I hear this is resolved. The manager owes an apology.“

“A positive thing. Our little group SAS (Senior Adult Singles) had a little holiday/Christmas party and we chose to eat at The Jay Cafe in Lake Jackson. We also elected to have Turkey and dressing (dispite gorging on this since Thanksgiving) Amar accomidated serving this on Saturday night (instead of their usual Sunday offering of the same) and the food was great. Our server was so sweet and accommodating it only added to a great evening.“

“it is great, 5 stars, i was visiting my sister who lives in Lake Jackson. catfish and fried oysters fantastic. crawfish queso divine. the oysters on the half shell a little dehydrated, but flavor great. I would go every week if I lived close.“

“We had a reservations Friday August 2nd for our family of 23. The tables were ready when we arrived and August was our server. August did a great job taking care of all of us! Our grandchildren got to go outside and watch the tugboats and barges go by and we saw several dolphins which made their night complete! I ordered oysters on the half shell and my husband had the Dive Burger. Excellent!“

“If you want to enjoy a game with friends or family this is a Great place lots the menu is awesome artisan Pizza the Wings are burgers are delicious.if you on a diet well they got you covered like 6 different salad options also lol the atmosphere is awesome. Lots of tables and big tvs i side and outside patio to seat also.“

“We got incorrect Google directions...turn right on the gravel road BEFORE Ocean Drive in Surfside Beach; otherwise you'll find yourself in soft sand & driving into the ocean! Had to walk up a ramp to enter, the A/C inside the place was too cold (I had on a long-sleeved sweater). My man friend & I decided to sit outside near the Gulf. Tidal waves were rolling in constantly. I ordered the Treasure Chest; he chose the grilled salmon. Food was delivered HOT, FRESH & tasted delicious!
Vegetarian options: Didn't see any options on the menu...
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families with kids of all ages are welcome...kids walked up & down the stairs leading to the seashore (under their parents' watchful eyes of course).“

“My cousin came to visit from Abilene. Enjoyed a day at Kemah Boardwalk and finished the day at the Lake Jackson Texas Roadhouse. We had steaks and beer and we enjoyed watching the staff dancing. A great way to end our day.“

“I came here a couple days ago alone to study for Finals for college i was greeted by this one host she was really nice and sat me down. my waitress was also very nice made me smile a couple times had a great vibe(I don’t remember her name) the food was good just your normal American food. I had a triple dipper and it was great!. but the highlight was the host who came to take over the other host shift. He was a skinny brunette, and he had some baggy jeans and all I gotta say is that he was one of the most gorgeous and beautiful boy’s I have seen I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. After I was done with my meal and walking out the door, the guy gave me a warm smile and wished me a good day. overall The service, the atmosphere, and the food was great. would most definitely come back when I’m back in town.“
