“New organization, Chowboys, running the restaurant part now.
Tried the hot dog, fries, and regular cheeseburger.
All were good. Home made burger patty, not that frozen puck you'd get from other places.
Fries were seasoned and fresh.
But the star of the show was the hot dog.
Tasty and made to order.
The lady working the grill was nice and generous. It was a pleasure meeting her.
The atmosphere? It's ok... Can't expect everything from a gas station restaurant.
Needs some updating... 🤷♂️.
Overall, I'd say it's worth a stop.“

“My husband planned a surprise birthday party for me on a Friday, there was a party of maybe 25-30 possibly more and our waiter Anthony was absolutely AMAZING! He let us know this was his first big table, and he handled everyone and everything so effortlessly. Thank you Anthony for making this an even better time. Food and drinks were amazing! Entertainment by Chase Richburg was awesome! 10/10 recommend!“

“We had a wonderful brunch experience at Asiel’s in Lake Jackson. This was our first time visiting, and from the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Our waitress, Jeff Jess, was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. Since we had never been before, she took the time to give us her opinions on several menu items, which we truly appreciated and ended up loving.
The entire staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes including pancakes, omelets, and classic eggs and bacon with toast, and everything was cooked perfectly. I even enjoyed a mimosa, which was a great addition to brunch.
One of our favorite parts of the experience was the atmosphere and the history. Our children especially loved learning about the mammoth that was discovered in the pit that has since become the lake the restaurant overlooks. It turned our meal into a fun history lesson for them while we dined.
We were extremely happy with both the service and the food and will absolutely be returning as regulars. Asiel’s is a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking for a welcoming brunch experience.“

“Chocolate Martini was great. I had the Prime Steak that was perfect and very tender. The Shrimp Diablo was excellent. Had a great romantic evening dinner with my husband. Great service that was very smooth and peaceful.“

“A positive thing. Our little group SAS (Senior Adult Singles) had a little holiday/Christmas party and we chose to eat at The Jay Cafe in Lake Jackson. We also elected to have Turkey and dressing (dispite gorging on this since Thanksgiving) Amar accomidated serving this on Saturday night (instead of their usual Sunday offering of the same) and the food was great. Our server was so sweet and accommodating it only added to a great evening.“

“Very good sandwich. Clean customer area, but boy what really stood out was the customer service. They were lovely to me, and when I sat down to eat I watched them be wonderful to everyone else who came in. Absolutely stand-out service and courtesy. I'll be back!“

“The food at this restaurant was very tasty with above average portion sizes, especially the hamburgers. For the amount of food that you get this place is a bargain. They have a nice craft beer menu as well. They also have outdoor seating with a nice atmosphere. We will definitely go back again.“

“No plates were left full!! Kids ate up the fish basket. Husband and I split the TX red snapper with crawfish etoufee sauce, Cajun rice and loaded mash potatoes and it was all DELICIOUS!! No photo because we ate it all!!! Son said the BEST sweet tea!“

“it is great, 5 stars, i was visiting my sister who lives in Lake Jackson. catfish and fried oysters fantastic. crawfish queso divine. the oysters on the half shell a little dehydrated, but flavor great. I would go every week if I lived close.“

“Go here for the DAIRY not for the burger (should have known by the name). We tried this place after moving here, and came in with high expectations especially with the “Award winning burger award” on the wall for something like 10 yrs. I got the jalepeno burger and he got the double burger. It was nothing like I expected.. a bland burger on a non toasty bun. The lettuce was soggy HOWEVER the chocolate shake was phenomenal. Will be back for the drinks, not the food.“

“If you want to enjoy a game with friends or family this is a Great place lots the menu is awesome artisan Pizza the Wings are burgers are delicious.if you on a diet well they got you covered like 6 different salad options also lol the atmosphere is awesome. Lots of tables and big tvs i side and outside patio to seat also.“

“My cousin came to visit from Abilene. Enjoyed a day at Kemah Boardwalk and finished the day at the Lake Jackson Texas Roadhouse. We had steaks and beer and we enjoyed watching the staff dancing. A great way to end our day.“

“Always great server, food always fresh and hot, wait time varies. Chili's has been my little random night out i dont want to cook or do dishes and the price stays good for me and my kid to leave spending less than $30 if we want. Been going random for 3 years to this location and all these things never change, good server good food good price“
