“Someone brought me a brisket sandwich for lunch and it was pretty good. I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon. Was 1 person in front of me, ordered the sausage and brisket plate. It took about 15 minutes. The brisket was as thin as receipt paper, the sausage was cheap. Lemonade was awful!! BBQ sauce was bland! I don’t know what happened between the sandwich I had and the food I walked in to order. I’ll stick to Burns BBQ in Acres Homes…especially when it comes to flavor!“

“Lord have mercy! I'm so happy we've found our new Barbecue home!! We hit up Mr.Dave after I spotted him on Instagram and I must say, we've been sleeping on him. Barbecue taste so good, and seasoned so well, it will make you wanna slap somebody 🤣... We fell through and I tell you, from the sausage to the ribs, to the chicken plates we ordered was a slam dunk, and a home run all in one. The greet and hospitality given was such a pleasure by him and his partner. We knew when we pulled up and smelled his Barbecue it would taste delicious.😋... My husband ate his sausage and then wanted mine, and I had to turn him down with 'Nope' 😆

“I started going to Amazing Smiles Houston Texas at the Fondern location two weeks ago. I am the one who is afraid of Dentist just like some of you. When they’re in the process of cleaning your teeth they would apply a gel on your gums which will numb your gums. Even when their going to pull or replace something they use the gel before the injection and I felt nothing. The staff there make you feel so relax and when leaving there they will make you feel so welcome that you would want to come back. I love Dr. Mosley and Ms Jackie that welcomes you in like family.If you’re looking for a good Dentist who make you feel welcome like family provided your Insurance allows you try Amazing Smiles in Houston off Sandpiper and Fondern!“

“Old Fashion BBQ on the Southside. It was our first visit. We ordered Link Dinner, Chopped Beef Sandwich, Homemade Chili and Vanilla Cake. The meat is very good and THAT SMOKE can be tasted before you even place the food in your mouth! Best Kept Secret: Homemade Chili. I love their bbq however their Chili is off the chain!😋 We have been searching for BBQ in Houston that tasted like 'what we grew up eating'... and they nailed it. Friendly staff... We will return!“

“I was here for lunch on Sunday 02-16-2025. It wasn't very busy, so I was seated right away. I didn't appreciate my location near the entrance to the restrooms, since there were no odors, I didn't make a fuss. My waiter Issack was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant section that I sat in appeared clean. I ordered a house salad with white vinegarett dressing. The wild west shrimp, and a house margarita. Of course I was served warm bread and butter. Everything was good, the food, service etc.

“It was four minutes till opening, we had walked in man I was with is 80yrs old. Told we couldn't sit at a table or bar just to wait outside on bench. We left not at all happy couldn't believe we couldn't stay inside. Forget their Rules, we ate at a more welcoming restaurant.“

“Been coming here since my childhood and it ALWAYS hits. If you’re looking for fancy BBQ or something similar to Terry Blacks Beef and Bun is NOT the place for you. I’m going to be real with y’all and say the brisket isn’t the best, BUT there are days when they get it done right!! Now I HIGHLY recommend the baked potato all the way with 1/4 chop, French fries, onion rings, and the chicken. The baked potato is a classic that they have MASTERED!! They offer the freshest made to order French fries!! This spot has plenty of parking as well as a big dinning area!! Their prices are also VERY fair compared to fast food chains so if you’re ever in the area make sure to check this place out!!“

“My son and I were having a fun evening and wanted some great food to share while we had a movie night. We took a chance on this BBQ joint at the HEB and were beyond happy with the food, and even more with the service.
Alexa and Chris did a great job of putting together our orders, and serving us with a really big smile and promptness. This is now our go-to BBQ joint.
