My wife and I visited your Lamar Street location on December 26th, and I wanted to take a moment to share how truly extraordinary our experience was, thanks to your incredible staff. We had arrived at your restaurant after a frustrating experience earlier in the day. We had been scammed out of tickets for the 3:00 showing of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and while my wife was trying to resolve the issue with Ticketmaster, I thought we could at least enjoy a drink and try to make the best of it. My wife had been really excited for the performance, so needless to say, she was disappointed. What followed, however, turned what could have been a discouraging evening into something unforgettable. Our server, Carlos, came over and informed us that his manager had overheard our situation and wanted to offer us a free appetizer. We were so touched by this generous gesture. As the night continued, my wife was still on the phone trying to resolve the issue, and at that point, Kayla, another member of your team, came over and offered us a free dinner. Again, we were so grateful, and the kindness shown by your staff really started to lift our spirits. But the incredible service didn’t stop there. Later on, Kayla asked if we had any plans for the evening, and when we mentioned that we were heading home due to the day’s frustrations, she smiled and said, “Okay, so you have no plans. Good to know.” We had no idea what was coming next. Jon, your General Manager, then came over to our table with some astonishing news. He had purchased two tickets for us to attend the 7:30 showing of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! We were completely taken aback—shocked, in fact. We thought we might be on a hidden camera show. But that’s not all. Jon didn’t stop there. When he learned that the digital tickets hadn’t come through, he walked with us to the Toyota Center Box Office, personally bought us two tickets, and handed them to us with a smile. “Enjoy the show,” he said. We were floored by his generosity and thoughtfulness. This act of kindness truly went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. We’ve been loyal customers of your Lamar Street, NRG, Sugar Land, Little Pappasito’s, and Webster locations for quite some time, and we’ve always considered your restaurants among the best in Houston. But after this experience, we feel even more connected to the Pappasito's family. The care and heart shown by your staff, particularly Carlos, Kayla, and Jon, made all the difference in our night. We can’t thank you enough for turning what had started as a disappointing evening into a truly memorable one. Please pass along our deepest gratitude to everyone involved. Hazel is a very nice manager. Very attentive to the customer. Her smile and radiant demeanor. Highly recommended for breakfast. You are served plenty of food to fill even this big guy. You get complimentary sweet bread. It’s a miniature size. Just right for an afterwards snack.
A huge plus, the music isn’t too loud.

“The food is great ,but one waitress in the mornings she is kind of rude, I’ve been there a few times in the last years ,she been working there for a while and every time I get her she does not have the best personality especially when they messed up on your order she doesn’t try to correct it sometimes makes excuses. I went this morning ordered a coffee came out cold. She told me that she just because it’s the first batch that happens. I never heard of that before , but I’m not a coffee expert. But hopefully the management there could help this waitress do much better with her customers.“

The bar staff is top notch and really take care of you - shout out to Adan and Jose for holding it down! Can honestly say I've never had bad service here. Highly recommend Whitehall for a weekend stay if you're passing through or a stop at part & parcel if you find yourself killing time downtown.“

But I put the green & spicy red sauce in mine. Definitely should add it to the menu as "The Lady Be Migas" sandwich. ~ switch it out for a burger bun or a taco style. Muy delicioso! + I got a full side order of fries. He had the thick cut crinkly ones, seasoned. You can also get a small side of fries for extra $2. Custy Service ~ Very friendly. “Really enjoyed this spot. Great atmosphere with tons of TVs playing the baseball games, which made it a fun place to hang out and watch sports. Huge drink selection, good food, and the salsa was honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while.

Service was very attentive throughout the night. Only awkward part was getting my drink served in what looked like a kids cup at first, but overall the experience was still really good. Definitely a solid place for Mexican seafood, drinks, and catching a game.“

“The waiter Huber basically told us what not to order. NOTE When you come to this location bring your own silverware, we had to share a knife among 3 people. The enchiladas & steak, more like a slice of brisket drenched in a salty cheese sauce. Awful!! The beef enchilada, unflavored ground meat, again drenched in a red sauce WITH cheese. Cancun tilapia again with cheese and 8 tiny cocktail shrimp - no garlic sauce The plate was hot but not the food. At 8ish on a saturday night they only had 3 or 4 tables, no more than 12 people, including us 3 If they were starting to close for the day, they should've close the area they were cleaning. I don't appreciate smelling 'Fabuloso" while I'm eating with the mop bucket next to my table. Really your motto should be "Why are you still in business..." Marked as 1st and last on places not to visit. Overpriced for the food quality“

“I haven't had Bullritos since at least 2012 when they had a location on Richmond and Weslayan. It's been over a decade now so when I saw this location was open while at the Esperson Building on business, I wasted no time coming in. Yes, it's a bit different because they do not have the bags anymore. Instead you tell the servers exactly what you want in a serving line similar to Subway. They also only have canned drinks, no fountain drinks. I ordered a Bullrito with steak and it was great and I think even bigger than what I remember from way back then! Every employee was friendly! I wish they would open more locations because I live nowhere near this location, and it will probably be a while before I am in this area on business again. But when I return, I will be back!“

“Great food truck in the neighborhood. Got 2 fajita tortas, 4 tacos (pastor, two fajita, tripa), and 2 gorditas (pastor and fajita) for $30. It came with green salsa and 4 little containers of charro beans. Everything was so well seasoned and was made to order. Will definitely be coming back. I recommend the plate of tacos for $6!
