“This is the perfect hole in the wall restaurant. I've been eating here for nearly 30years. Family run. Best Guacamole anywhere. Best enchildas in Houston. The hot sauce means it! Perfect spice level. I put it on everything and endure my heart burn happily.“

“Wow!!! Excellent smoked brisket. Super generous portions. $14 feed my friend and I, no way I could finish the brisket grilled cheese by myself. Although the brisket needs no BBQ sauce, the sauce they make is fire. I pray they bottle their BBQ sauce one day. The owner was super cool and blessed us with stickers in addition to the fabulous food. My friend recommended them, and El Pobre Tex Mex BBQ did NOT disappoint. Highly recommend. I will be comparing all other smoked brisket to El Pobre. Counting the days until I can share a smoked brisket grilled cheese with a friend again.“

“My family and I went to eat Sunday night and we hadn’t scheduled a reservation. We get there and they were able to accommodate a table of 15 with no issues. The servers were so great And explained everything in detail and even separated checks by numbers (which a lot of restaurants don’t do). They had great music, my fave Frida in every corner of the restaurant, great decor the chandeliers looked awesome, it was so clean and smelled so good upon entering. They gave us complimentary appetizers and desserts which were awesome like the queso. I really wished I would have taken pictures of everything but even the most picky family members loved it and said they will def be back. The prices were super reasonable definitely not as expensive as other restaurants. My husband and I shared a parrillada for 2 beef and omg the homemade tortillas de maíz were amazing! It came with a good amount of beef, onion and bell peppers all fresh. We both had our own beans, rice, sour cream, avocado and tortillas. I had a mangonada and it was delightful and the miches were great! Everyone was helping us with great spirit and over all made us feel welcomed! Definite will be back specially because it’s so close to home! Gracias por el servicio y la comida espectacular!“

“Needed a quick bite near the airport, and this did the trick. Got a torta with Milanesa, and a quesadilla with Tampiquena - both were very good. The torta was toasted, and the Milanesa worked well (I always have issues with the chopped meats falling off the torta on the way to my mouth, so a single slab of meat is much more efficient, as well as tasty). The Tampiquena was really good, had a strong smoky grilled flavor. The chips were crisp and fresh and the salsa was warm (never had that before but it was tomatoey and spicey). Service was great!“

“The restaurant was very clean, staff was friendly, and service was prompt. Our waitress was very knowledgable, quick, and overall pleasant. The drinks and appitizers were good. We were not fans of our main entrees, however Bryan was very quick to address this issue for us. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to enjoy their meal and time. It just could have been an off night for us. I would give this place a try if I was in the EADO area!“

“All good, great food, wonderful service friendly staff and casual ambiance. The outside doesn't look like much and you might see anything on the street but it's all good. Nobody bothers you. Enjoyed time with friends during our volunteer break. Nobody rushed us and we enjoyed ourselves listening to music. They did have a TV on. I really enjoyed my deluxe plate. Great variety on the menu. They also rent out their establishment for private events. I would recommend, reasonably priced meals.“

“We stopped by to pick up dessert. We had never been here before but I was craving a tres leches and could only find it here. The to go server Arely was very welcoming and nice given it was five minutes until closing. The tres leches was delightful. It had a nice not too sweet marsh mellow icing topped with two cinnamon sugared pecans, a drizzle of caramel on the side and garnished with a fresh strawberry.“

“The food was good but could be better The salsa wasn’t super spicy they should work on that and also the food was a little salty. The service was great. The waitress was super nice. I dined out side and there was a lot of flies. They should take care of that to other than that this place is great.“

“Their street tacos are good! I know, I know, you do a double take to even stop like, "I don't know if I even want to stop here." But if you do, man, I'm telling you. It's super good. My wife loves the fish tacos. She does the grilled ones, but we've tried the fried ones too. The shrimp grilled and fried ones were also good as well. The Torta was delicious. Had all kinds of meats. Been there twice already, and there definitely will be a third visit down-the-line. Atmosphere could be better, but you do what you can with the streets as your dining hall. I almost forgot the churros. They're just right! Not like those hard rock ones you find at other places where I feel like I could knock someone out with it....“

“We had lunch at Ninfa’s for the first time and the food was delicious. The flavors were excellent, and the portions on the dishes were plentiful. The service was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone who has the opportunity to spend a little more for their meal than most Mexican restaurants. That’s not a dig at the place because this place delivers with the food, atmosphere and service.“

“First time in Guadalajara. Good location, good atmosphere and everything very clean. Parking is a bit complicated but it's downtown, most places are like that.Carlos L, our friendly server, but the service was too slow, our table had 8 people and on many occasions he was absent.Skinny Margaritas super good, very refreshing. I ordered a combo plate that had several things and I loved it, my favorites were the empanadas, I think if I go again I would only order them. We also ordered the chicken nachos, good flavor. In general, a good place, for any occasion. Happy Hour available.“
“First time at this food truck that is 4 minutes away and it was delicious. We ordered tacos de fajita and pastor the tacos were soft and delicious. The frijoles charros were a great complimentary to the meal. The gorditas were not greasy, like most places. It had beans, cheese, and meat of choice. My husband enjoyed the burrito from here as well. The food was fresh and hot. Lady was kind and her establishment was very clean. I did not take photos of food because I ate it all. Will provide some in the future. We will definitely be returning clients.“

“Tio Trompo is a true taqueria with authentic Mexican food! Ricardo (owner) and his staff, Miguel (a real vaquero), and Juana serve the best tacos I've ever had. What's crazy is there are a dozen Mexican Restaurants within a 1-mile radius but not one of them is as good as Tio Trompo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Our family's visits to Johnny Tamales are always the highlights of our dining adventures, thanks largely to the exceptional service we receive from Roger. This Tex-Mex haven has become our go-to spot, not just for its delicious and authentic flavors but for the warmth and excellence that Roger consistently brings to our experience. He remembers our preferences, suggests the perfect dishes to delight our palates, and ensures every visit is seamless and special. The quality of the food, from the sizzling fajitas to the savory enchiladas, is consistently outstanding, but it's Roger's personal touch that truly sets Johnny Tamales apart. His dedication to customer satisfaction and his ability to make every family feel valued and cared for are remarkable. We're grateful to have found not just a restaurant with great food, but a place where we're treated like family. Thank you, Roger, for making every meal at Johnny Tamales an unforgettable experience. Your commitment to excellence is why we'll keep coming back.“

“I compare every other taco spot to Los Reyes. They have the best tacos I've ever had. I always order Fajita and Pastor with all the toppings and then add the Salsa Verde and lime. Literally the best. I've been going to the Los Reyes locations since I was a child, and now I'm bringing my own children. Easily over 25yrs. All the locations have been really good, and this one is no different.I remember coming here when they first opened. I lived in Channelview and my family was stoked to finally have one so close! You had to order at the window and the had two picnic tables on a porch outside. Food is just as good now as it was then. There was a period a couple years ago where they were skimpy on the meat in the tacos, but the last couple of times was a step back to what I remember them being like.I will continue to go here no matter where I live in Houston. My family only eats here once every couple of months, but it's genuinely always great. They close at 5pm for some reason, and seating is not the best, but you'll be happy that you went regardless. And don't ever suggest a spot to me if the taco place you're recommending serves basic onion/cilantro tacos. Those all taste the same! I have tried EVERY single spot on Sheldon, and none of them are close to the quality and size of Los Reyes.“

“over 2 years ago I've been eating at Casa Olé consistently all of my life but I frequent the Deer Park location regularly. It's not the closest location to my house but I continue to go back because there is a waitress there that goes above and beyond the call of duty. I mean she brings me my drink and appetizer as I'm being seated. She remembers everything. Top notch service! Her name is Brooke. I will continue to eat here 3-4 x's a week simply because of Brooke. The food is always good and the restaurant is always clean and the ambiance is always just right!!“

“For the most part, the food is almost always great, but what I don't like is that if u dine in, u get unlimited refills on chips and tortillas, but when I order to go and ask for one or two extra tortillas, they want to charge me. So since they do that, I do not leave a “

“Let me just start off with this, I like Chili's 3 for 11 deal.. there are not a lot of places you go to these days where you get an appetizer, entre and a drink for 11.00+/-, good price for the quantity of food items. We went at lunch time- the food tasted good, nothing was undercooked and/or burnt. The server was super attentive, polite and super fast. The only thing I didn't like were the bathrooms-super dark and the first table we were sitting in was sticky. Other than that it was pretty good.“

“My recent lunch at Chuy's in Pasadena was a lively foray into Tex-Mex cuisine, shared with my sister. We indulged in their famed 'Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom'—a dish that's as fun to say as it is to eat. The service was impeccable, with staff exuding warmth and attentiveness. The bill came as a slight shock at $40 pre-tip, hinting at the sting of inflation, yet it's a sign of the times rather than a reflection on Chuy's. While the prices have risen, so has the caliber of the experience.Wheelchair accessibility: New building“
“This is a good place to go get food from especially when running short in time. I was treated so well from the moment they picked up my phone call until the moment I arrived to pick up my order. They made sure I was satisfied with my order before I left and my food was hot so by the time I got home it was still warm and ready to eat.“

“Beef Fajitas: Meat taste delicious. Onion and bell pepper were good and crisps. I don't eat beans but these were good. Only complain was very little sour cream, no guacamole and no cheese. Avocado, Lettuce and tomatoes with fajitas is weird and throws off the taste. Online prices are wrong.“
