As soon as we walked in we were greeted very friendly and with a nice smile. Maria our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was just fabulous, it had a very Mexican home made flavor cooked meal. This was our first time walking into the restaurant but it definitely won't be the last, this place it a must have if you're in the Galveston area. “Okay, so I was really tempted to gatekeep this little find, but it wouldn't be fair to y'all or the hardworking Sky Bar staff! Seriously, some of the best sushi and cocktails we have had - and we eat out A LOT! The Happy Hour is wonderful because it's a late HH from 5-10. I am a crab ragoon connoisseur, and they have, bar none, THE BEST! Our server, Seth, was spot on. He said he had only been there a few weeks, but you wouldn't know based on his high service level. Seth was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. The manager, Robert, made several stops by our table and the other guests to check on everything. He jumped in and helped servers as needed. We are in Galveston every month or so, and will definitely be will definitely be adding Sky Bar to our restaurant stops. Looking for a later Happy Hour, fabulous food and terrific service? “Great place to watch NFL and MLB games. If you’re a Cowboys fan they always have food catered from Yaga’s or BLVD Seafood during the games and play it on the big screen in the back room! Zoey,Nick, Brook, Carlos and the rest of the Beerfoot team go above and beyond to make it a great experience o matter what team you are cheering for!!“

“Ok for a place to hang out in an open-air place to hang out and enjoy adult beverages. Seemed more like a treehouse than a bar. But, it drew a decent crowd of bikers during the rally for being several miles away from the main action.We wanted to ride a little away from the masses, so it filled the bill. Kudos to their parking attendants, they really controlled the lot.There was no food served by Woodys, but there was a food truck there. I think they should've offered a few portapotties the mens room was often overwhelmed. I heard many of the ladies comment upon seeing the long line of men waiting for the restroom. Most said the world is upside down here.“

Portion sizes are just okay—not generous, but not skimpy either. That said, the food itself is solid and satisfying, and the waitresses are genuinely kind and attentive, which makes the experience feel warmer than the surroundings suggest. Not a hidden gem, but not a bad stop if you’re nearby and craving a decent bite.“

“My mom took me to lunch here today. it wasn't great at all. For a starter, the cheese sticks were so MASSIVE that the cheese didn't melt before the crust browned. I ordered chicken fried steak and garlic mashed potatoes with cream gravy. The cream gravy was like water and had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The garlic mashed potatoes were awful and gummy, artificial to say the least. My mother ordered fried shrimp and mashed potatoes. The fried shrimp came out with the "crust" white and semi-fried. Very strange. Also, these meals only came with one side, no vegetable option without it being an add on. These meals were $18.99 and $20.99 each! We were very underwhelmed for the price of these entrees. They DO NOT offer a lunch menu either. We will not be back.“
