“First of all these my people!!! We always anxiously await to eat here, my entire family is a huge fan of this place, I will gladly always make the drive just to get a little taste of this place. As the previous, ignorant comments like to point out, yes the cooks are Mexican , BROWN & PROUD and these fellow Mexicans of mine have perfected JAPENESE food!! ♥️ They got these combos of deliciousness ready to go or to dine in, everything is fresh and seasoned to perfection. Not to mention I got a free plate yesterday to take home with a purchase of 5 plates! Best place ever, best Japanese food in DFW! These other places could never. These other reviews are just way too picky, cook your own stuff at home then. A must try at the grapevine mills mall.“

“Today after Meow Wolf and heading back to Oklahoma we found this gem for a late lunch. 💯 reccomend! We had Oysters Rockefeller, Nikko Tuna Tower, and Terriaki Salmon, then pressed coffee, every bit of our experience was spot on and everything was delicious!!“

“Our server Casey was exceptional! We had 19 & a baby. Everyone's order was exact! She's phenomenal! The food... So incredible! Everyone at this place is amazing from our waitress to the chef. I sure hope these people stay in business. They made Mother's Day and 2 birthdays wonderful!! Hats off to them!!!♥️“

I would give this place another try. I thought the pricing seemed pretty reasonable and the service was good. If this was closer to my house I could see going here from time to time.
As far as strip mall sushi goes this place checks a lot of boxes.“

“We first heard about this place on social media. We were a little skeptical to try it, but decided to give it a chance. We shouldn't have waited! The all you can eat menu had many options to choose from. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We will definitely be back. The great service and clean environment were a plus too.“

“The variety of food on the all-you-can-eat menu is great, and our waiter Nathan was incredible. He was on top of everything, and when my daughter said she loved the robot (the machine that brings food to your table) he brought it back out just for her. Definitely a new go-to for us.“

“The sushi is always the freshest, whether talking about the salmon, tuna, wrappers, fruit, avocados, whatever the ingredients are it is the freshest! The staff are amazing, whether hostess, wait staff, Sushi chefs, even the bus crew everyone is friendly and professional. Patrick is eager to tell you about the food as much as he is about how he and the rest of the chefs have all been friends for years. This is the type of place that you keep going back because it is always amazing!“

“To me this is the best and most delicious sushi in all of Lewisville. Me and my wife always love to sit down and eat here. The owner is the nicest man around. He takes his work very seriously and is very meticulous with his craft. The sushi never disappoints and always gets me and my wife excited for our next visit.“

“Started my sushi journey here about 20 yrs ago. Have not been in about 3-4 years until now. So happy to see that it remains the best around. Odd place for a business to do so well so that speaks a lot for the food and service. If you have not been there I highly recommend you experience it. “Uber eats delivers this delicious and nutritious sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. I want more now! I got so much I saved some salmon for lunch the next day and it was still good. Try the tuna and unagi. Plenty of wasabi and ginger for all the fish. No rice pn my third order. Price was a lot.“

“Combo fried rice. 5* - wife said it was some of thr best she'd had.
California Roll. 5* - kiddo devoured it.
Soft Tofu Soup (beef). 2* - lacked generally in flavor and spice. Lacked any depth.
Banchan (side dishes) are good and an added bonus.“

“We have not been here in several years and I have no idea why. The three of us ordered hot tea, spicy edamame, gyoza. The rolls are huge and incredible. The killer roll was our favorite but the Hawaii, Panic roll and golden Cali were amazing. Service from Ngun was excellent and we spoke with Kim the owner 2 or 3 times as she worked the room. Clearly this is why 23 years success in the food business.“

“My husband and I love this Japanese restaurant. They have a variety of Japanese dishes, and a delicious desert option. The chicken teriyaki and sushi rolls are the best, and the deserts are delicious. Great variety of sakes as well. We recommend!!“

“I've come here both with my children and on date night without. It's a very pleasant and chill place with a lot of good food, very fresh sushi, and the sake is good too! Quiet and pleasant, and the waitstaff are super easy to talk to. Can't go wrong if you're unsure where to go for dinner.“

“Kid-friendliness: The owners were so kind! Our kids had never had sushi before and the owners let them watch as they made the sushi. Our son LOVED the pork dumplings. He said “these should be on the news!” 🤣

“My coworker introduced me to this place, so I went there for lunch.
I think I'll be using it often in the future. The price is really the best. Fried rice is under $10. Most of the food is around $10, so it's really cheap.
The amount of food for one person is enough for two. The taste is also excellent.
The side dishes change constantly.
Since it is self-service, there is less burden on tipping.
There is nothing lacking.“

“This is a great little sushi place. We've ordered from several places in the local area and definitely like this one the best. We've eaten here 4 or 5 times and are never disappointed. We have tried the Crunch Salmon, Super Crunch, Tornado, Cowboy, California Roll, and Green Hulk just to name a few. All were very delicious.“

“They happily offered a nori substitute for my salmon sushi (delicious). The Shuman and beef takami were perfect. The clear soup is a palate cleanser (no flavor). The only disappointment was the fly that had me arm flailing throughout the meal.“

Wonderful service. I definitely recommend reserving a table ahead of time.
Francisco was our server and he is very attentive, kind, professional and friendly. Excellent service.
Our food was delicious. We shared crab raccoons, which were delicious and creamy.. edamame was perfect.
Francisco recommended the shaken beef when I asked him which I should choose between the shaken beef and the Mongolian beef. He was patient with all of the request from the table at a very busy time.
I tasted my friend’s chicken Pho which was so good that I ordered one to go . Francisco made sure everything was packaged up nicely for her to go orders. He was on top of refills clearing the table making sure to check in on us frequently.
I highly recommend Oishii Sushi & Pan-Asian in Grapevine. Delicious food, enjoyable service and delightful atmosphere. Francisco is who I will request every time I go!!!“
