“Finally tried House of Flavor. Wasn’t disappointed with exception of lack of A/C. Some spots were cool. Others quite warm. Can happen anywhere in SA lol. Nonetheless, went to meet a friend for a cold beer. Was happy to learn that we walked in to Happy Hour. A medium Modelo was under $3. What a deal!! Chips were crispy and fresh. The salsita was different but quite tasty and picoso! Wonder if they used chili de árbol? We ordered their $8.99 lunch special. I had pollo con mole. Chicken was so tender and juicy. Friend had carne asada. It was tasty and fresh. It didn’t look like a lot but it fooled me. Had to be rolled out of the place. Homemade tortillas were wonderful. Just like mom used to make. Overall I was impressed. Once their A/C problems are fixed I think it may become my new favorite place.“

“Everything was absolutely delicious then only reason for 4 and not 5 stars in tortillas. Obviously not made in store and not very good. The fajitas, queso, salsa, tortilla soup, enchiladas, and margaritas were all soo good, but to not have fresh homemade tortillas is a let down. Also if you are going to have a QR code on your receipt don’t charge me a “surcharge” to use it

“It's a Saturday night review! Live band playing Spanish hits that will make you move and you sure can because they have a little room to dance. The lady singer is very friendly and interactive so prepare your voice to sing a bit :-). The seafood platter for 2 was really for 3 and reasonable priced. The margarita was an epic fail, only had one and that was it for me, stick with beer. The service was average nothing to rave about. Overall good place for family, friends or even a date were you don't feel like talking much, since music is loud. Enjoy!!“

The wall full of their history with the meaning of palenque was very cool. There is a kids playground! I loved that the multiple TV's were playing funny videos and extreme sports with wipe outs. Place was very clean. Place to wash your hands was very centrally located which I super appreciate. There were no towels to dry hands, please improve this, but not a huge deal. Good dessert options. Free chips and salsa. Prime, top quality meat used, generous portions. Pay for what you get. Great service when taking left overs to go. They could improve by using compostable containers.“
