“LOVE the freshness of every dish! I went to this location in Waco and to my surprise it was beautiful. The other location was in Georgetown (nice location as well). However, it’s never a good feeling when dining in the restaurant. I went 2x in the same day just to see the difference between the day and night staff. Both times I sat at the bar, and the service was good. As I approached the door to enter a man a woman walked right in front of me and the man let the door close in my face! I’m so sick of people being rude, it makes me not want to spend my money in the establishment. Although they can’t control others behaviors, it just sucks!“

“In my opinion, great Cajun food. Small shop with a neat ambiance. You order at a slide window when I went. The owner came out and talked for a while with us. I thought that was super cool. Super chill and gave off good vibes. I hope you have the same experience when you visit.“

“Fabulous food and the staff is friendly and attentive. Wonderful atmosphere with creole music playing. It's Cajun flavor but not hot and spicy. Flavor that leaves your mouth happy and wanting more. Desserts looked tasty but we were too full to try them. Locally owned by a vet and his beautiful wife. Will definitely be back!“

“Looked up seafood on Yelp and wanted local , not chain. This eatery is in old Waco and gets all the locals. It's not glam but very neat and clean. Roxanne recommended several items. Hubby loves fish and got catfish fillets and said they were hot, crispy and huge portions. I got a Shrimp PoBoy snd it had fat flavorable shrimp. Bun toasted just right. We will be back. Great service that is rare these days.“

“Order 1st, no tipping per the signs, have a seat, and wait for the deliciousness to begin! All the food was delicious! They have a pong out back where you can feed the turtles and fish. Keep your eye out for the spying gator! Eat, drink, and be Tejan!“

“We were wanting fried chicken then Yelp lead us the way but upon entering the smell of the fried catfish is annoyingly (in a good way) messing up with our head. Haha. Ended up getting a basket of 3 catfish, 3 shrimp, and 3 oysters with fries and red beans and rice to share. This combo is good for 2 people already you can probably add another side, a la carte for more food but this is enough for us. Our order came out piping hot, fresh out of the fryer. No frills spot, upon entering you will be greeted by a nice lady to take your order and she will pleasantly wait for you to decide which one to get. Yes, it's chicken, and fried seafood but the combo is extensive. You can also asked for your basked to be grilled if you'd like for an extra. The place is what yours expect from a southern, catfish place. Open sitting and patrons hanging out just gossiping. They also have a drive thru window for the convenience of not having to get out of your car.“

“This place is so dang delicious, and the people are really nice as well. Nice tables, chairs, very clean bathrooms. And overall great experience. 100% going to go again soon.Kid-friendliness: Super clean environment, no harsh words being spoken by the staff, and I don’t remember there being any music played. But if there was it was definitely clean otherwise I probably wouldn’t have eaten there.Wheelchair accessibility: Really easy to get to, even with a wheel chair.“

“When it comes to menudo on a Sunday after a night of drinking lol.. This is the place to go if you want big meaty pieces of tripe. I have double meat in this photo, prices are very affordable and their tripe taste so beefy. You know it has to be the real deal. The only reason I gave them four stars is because in my opinion their flour tortillas are not the best that I've tried here in the Waco area. But their food I have never had any complaints. Open on Sundays till 10:00 p.m.“

“Sergio's is my favorite restaurant in Waco. You walk in and it's like you're in Mexico. The staff is very welcoming, you choose the table you want to sit at. Anyway, my favorite order is Shrimp cocktail (this is the best shrimp cocktail you've ever had) with a side of guacamole, and then coconut shrimp (appetizer portion is 6 very large shrimps, dinner portion I think is 10-12). That is my go to order! You have to put the habanero salsa on everything! Best salsa I've ever had. I take the salsa home and freeze it. I heat it up and season all my food with it. Other items i love to get on the menu: the Ceviche is top tier and the al pastor tacos are perfection!! I love Sergios so much, I try to come here every Friday. Also this restaurant is BYOB, which helps save a few $$. They also have a food truck that sells tacos during the week, love that too!“

“My brother has been telling me how great this place is for ages and we finally got to check it out a couple of months ago. It was so fun to be able to try lots of different cuisines and enjoy it all in one pleasant atmosphere. At my brothers recommendation, I went with the Panang Curry from Curry Up and Walk This Way. I wanted the tofu, but sadly they were out so I did the shrimp which was cooked well. The flavor of the curry was rich and nicely balanced. On our way out I grabbed a tea to go from Zukes which was good but a tad sweet for me. If you're like me you might want to request less sweetness or no sweetness and adjust yourself. They have special tea flavors of the day as well. The ambiance was trendy and relaxed and there were all sorts of different seating to choose from which was perfect for us with our party of toddlers and grandparents to accommodate.“
