“We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. Thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone in the front of the house and remember to save us a table on Saturday nights. See you soon.“

“Just went for Valentine's lunch with girlfriends. They pushed tables together for us and our server was awesome. Great food and relaxing atmosphere. They did not rush us out we sat and talked,had dessert and coffee on a rainy Saturday. Tiramisu was the best I've ever had.“

I've paid three times the price for a meal with a fraction of the quality of this one. The meat was so tender that my steak knife was purely decorative, and the flavor was out of this world. Au jus or A1 need not apply, this thing was juicy and absolutely perfect. I cannot believe of all the restaurants I've come across in my travels that the Hilton Garden Inn would rank in my top 3, but this was truly fabulous! 12/10! 👏👏“

I was new to the EWAK process but felt at ease learning how this activity would benefit me in the short and long term. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to improve their overall physical performance, athletic ability, or just jumping back from a bad Covid-19 spell. “Great place for lunch or dinner and always fresh. Great friendly service with a smile. This place should be packed but when I stop in it normally does not have many dine-in customers. Have tried them 3 times now and they are consistently good. Highly recommend this place for burgers, onion rings, and cheese steaks. Will be trying the wings soon. Great job!“

The tables were arranged in two long rows decorated with gold and white place settings. The bridal couple and attendants were elegantly seated at the large booth in the front. “This was an unexpected stay after a missed airline connection. We arrived around 2am and checked into a very nice room. We haven’t stayed in a Courtyard as new as this— really nice! We had no luggage and were provided with all we needed, toothpaste/toothbrush, razor/shave cream, comb, brush, hairspray. The beds were comfy for our very brief stay. Towels were fluffy, bathroom very sleek, modern. Taxi called for us when we needed it. These weary travelers are very appreciative!“

The menu is expansive and surely anyone can find something to suit their tastes. We both had protein bowls for lunch and the filets for dinner. The protein bowls were so flavorful we didn’t feel like we were eating a healthy meal option. The waffle fries with gringo cheese dip, the macaroni and cheese side dish, and the summer salad are must tries. Everything tasted fresh and homemade including the salad dressing. Nothing was cold, stale or past its eating prime. In brief, eating at 54th Street was a culinary experience and the prices were absolutely reasonable. When in the area again we will definitely eat here again!“

“Run don’t walk! This is the sweetest lil old time mom and pop diner and the service was excellent. The owner‘s granddaughter actually waited on us and she was so kind. The food is home cooked with lots of love and you can tell it when you take your first bite. My husband is a vegetarian and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. I on the other hand am not a vegetarian and I equally enjoyed mine. Don’t forget to top off your meal with a piece of amazing coconut cream pie!“
