“This is the best Starbucks around! The employees are so friendly they always have a smile on their faces and they go above and beyond to put a smile on mine and my kids faces…

I have however noticed lately someone in the industry (manager or owner maybe?) has been there more often and it tends to bring the crew down and really deflates the atmosphere. It’s pretty sad to witness actually. Hoping they fix whatever’s going on because I’d hate to see this crew broken up :(“

“First off CHAD, and for other rats in the comments Chick-fil-A pays $15 an hour. These other places are understaffed and pay anywhere from $10-$12 an hour. Perhaps Chad should complain to Congress or legislation and get something done about working for less then 15$ all of these restaurants are understaffed and workers are being pushed to the limit. There’s so much pressure to get the orders out in record time., it’s unreal!!“

“Had never been here before and will definitely come back. Comfortable atmosphere, very good coffee & tea and the owner, Landon, was very nice. Local artists can hang & sell their art and musicians can sign up for Saturday morning. The buckwheat chocolate chip cookie was delicious. Landon…I wish I knew more about bagels…LOL“

“I had an apple latte. The flavoring is made by one of the baristas. It was the best latte I've had in years. Not too sweet or apple-forward. She prepared it layered with a great crema on top, espresso in the middle, and an apple base. Really great.“

“I stopped in with a friend. New to Denton and obviously we were new. The attendant gave us an intro to Kava and a sample to share with us. Enjoyed the visit a lot and the helpful staff. I never leave tips and I ended up doing so. Well earned.“

“Avoca has some of the best iced coffee in Denton. My go to is the iced vanilla latte with oat milk or the TX Bourbon butterscotch iced latte with oat milk. They usually have a decent pastry selection as well. The atmosphere is great for meeting a friend or just relaxing by yourself with a morning coffee. There is an outside patio also. The barista’s are really nice and know their coffee. Highly recommend!“

I was turning into the parking lot I saw about five or six cars in line and by the time I pulled up to the end of the line. My order was taken, I looked up and every single car was gone like magic.. “By far the best spicy fried chicken sandwich in the metroplex. I’ve had it 10-15 times now and it’s always delicious. Consistency at its finest. Smaller type of location, so get there early at lunch for a table.“

I stopped by this location for a late breakfast and early lunch. There was plenty of parking in this lot which was shared with several other local businesses. I was able to place my order and pay for it as soon as I walked into the restaurant. My order came out promptly and accurately. The restaurant wasn't full so I had an opportunity to sit without being pestered and eat my food.“
