“Stopped by for late lunch on a whim, and very happy we did! Service was very helpful answering questions, and the food came out SUPER fast. We got the hot/sour soup base w/ fish, and the green pepper soup base w/ pork intestine. Green pepper had a great deep flavor, but personally I would choose to keep going back to hot/sour because the sour note is refreshing long-term. Both were delicious, and we needed to-go containers for each. Each bowl was $15.If we were closer to Carrollton, we'd definitely come here more often!“

“You know that scene in "Frozen" where they're singing and the one says "we finish each other's..." and the other says "...sandwiches"? That's basically how it is with me and my wife. It usually starts out with her saying "you know what I could go for?" and me saying the random and semi-obscure thing she could go for because I was thinking the same thing.Anywho, the "thing" was soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) this time, and our mutual craving led us to finally try Wu Wei Din, which had been on our list for a while now because we had heard good things about it. And we were not disappointed! They have an extensive menu of authentic Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine (if I were smarter I'd be able to tell you the specific region. I believe it comes from the *tasty* region of that part of the world), and for you normies out there they've also got a large, and I'm sure delicious, section of the menu labeled "American Favorites". You get you some crab rangoons and don't let anybody yuck your yum.But I digress. First up was scallion pancake. Delicious and crispy! I found that the chili oil at the table was a great complement to it. Not your average chinese-restaurant-chili-oil. After that, we tucked into our raison-d'être, the Xiao Long Bao (we went pork). These were fantastic! We've had these at several places now and these were easily among the best we've ever had. From there we went to the pork-and-shrimp with leek steamed dumplings and let me tell you, the flavor and texture were outstanding! Different and very tasty dipping sauce with them. Next up, we got the Dan Dan Noodles with braised pork. I've had these at several places as well. Sometimes they're more on the spicy end with just a hint of peanut; sometimes they're basically peanut butter soup noodles (ew). Here at WWD they were definitely peanut-forward but not sugary sweet (yay!) and incredibly tasty. The noodles themselves were well prepared and tender. I downed the sauce after we finished the noodles and would've licked the bowl if I thought I could get away with it. Last up were the spicy pork and shrimp wontons. I was pleasantly surprised that the sauce included the numb spice in them, which if you haven't experienced it, make every effort to do so. It's addicting. These had a pleasant level of heat-- my wife is a bad Mexican who doesn't like spicy food and she could handle it just fine -- and the flavor was exquisite. The wonton texture itself was also some of the best I've had in the area.The service was top notch. We got there around 5:30 on a Friday and while it was starting to fill up we never felt too rushed or neglected and we got our food quickly. Host and servers were super friendly in a genuine way. Atmosphere was pleasant. For the sheer amount of food we got the prices seemed pretty reasonable. We will absolutely be back, and soon.“

I love Yin Tang, and it's one of the best-kept secrets as far as parking goes (it's in the corner of the shopping district where a lot of the parking isn't utilized). The broth is delicious.To avoid running up your tab, I'd suggest getting dry noodles and avoiding any fresh/chewy noodles. They charge by weight, not item type, so maybe focus on vegetables and meat. I got a $48 tab because I loaded on fresh yam noodles, worth it and fair but still.Great service, etc. They accommodated my table of like 12 friends 2 weeks ago without complaints. Not that I'd suggest doing that to them, but we had a lot of last-minute arrivals.“

“This place was really a gem for Sichuan food. I had my doubts before I visited but this place has exceeded my expectations. The decors was typical of a Chinese restaurant enhanced by "white influence". I ordered a spicy beef noodle and it was very good. The broth was light and flavorful, with sour vegetables and the beef was very tender and tasty. The sautéed kidney dish was the star of the show, as it was perfectly cooked and easily the best of its kind that I've hand in DFW. If this place was closer to where I currently live, I would be coming every week.“

My favorites are the lamb skewers and the hibachi cauliflower and hibachi broccoli.They have a house specialty spice mix that taste really good. If you are having it for the first time, I wouldn't recommend any cilantro leaves into the mix and ask for the yellow pickled radish if they forgot to serve it. “I found Hot Spots Eat Fresh after looking around for spots nearby that searched for General Tso's chicken. This is one of my favorite dishes. This restaurant had high reviews, the food pics look good, so I said why not give it a try?I placed a pick up order online from their website and parked and went inside to get my food. I did notice they do have a drive through and curbside pick up. Inside was pretty spacious and it had a few people eating around lunch time on a weekday. My food was ready when I went to get it, which was awesome.General Tso's chicken was very delicious. The piece of chicken meat was fresh and tasty and good pieces, but the tough and chewy parts of the chicken. The flavor was good, not too sweet or spicy. However I wish they had broccoli included. The rice was steamed food and tastes as you would expect white rice from a Chinese restaurant to taste like, bland to mild flavor (It's white rice).I definitely would recommend this spot and you should try them out too. “I found out about this place from a television ad, so I decided to go check it out. I got a table and grabbed a plate, and got to indulge in some very delicious food. There is a wide variety of foods which I find amazing. Though, you're going to need a big appetite to truly enjoy your experience because if you don't, you're not getting your money's worth. Regarding the service, it wasn't completely great despite them taking a while to get my dirty plate. Overall, I highly recommend this place to go eat out with family or friends.“

The Rice Noodles with Pork my wife ordered were also impressive for something on the lighter side.Second of all, I requested my pork be made "as spicy as possible" and they absolutely delivered. “Good place to have taste of sichuan without drivng all the way to north dallas. The taste is pretty close. The twice cooked pork had a nice smoky flavor. The mapo tofu had the right sauce consistency and the tofu did not lose the shape. Chonqking chicken was extermely fresh and crunchy coming from the hot oil and it was delightful to eat. Would go really well with a beer. The beef with pickeld vegetables was a surprise, given the amount of tender beef slices that came with it. Still kinda mad I had to pay for the bowl of rice.“

“craved black bean and went to this place self service for sides and water it was the perfect cute place; especially after watching so many kdramas and cooking at home all the time (when i say cute i don't mean pink anime asethics but like a typical restaraunt that didn't over for their decor and let the food speak) the crispy pork was def crunchy and black bean had perfect amount of flavor without being overly salty or sweet“

“More people really need to frequent this restaraunt. I always have the large noodle dish but I switch udon for ramen noodles. The portions are so large that I order more of their amazing Shoyu broth to go and have it with my leftover noodles the next day! Amazing!“
