“It was my first time eating here, and overall everything was good! I really enjoyed the salad and the kimchi — both were fresh and flavorful. The only thing I didn’t like was the cold noodle ( didn’t take the picture of it ) was way too sweet for my taste. Other than that, it was a nice experience and I’d come back again to try other dishes.“

“Solid place to feel like you're in Korea! The menu is small but straight forward and the servers all cook here for you by default. I took a back seat and enjoyed for once.
No substitutions for combos which is a bummer but understandable. Paejon is solid, brisket and pork belly were decent. Love the abundance of banchan here and can ask for more and sesame oil.“

“I was looking for a place to eat instant tteokbokki, and it was so delicious.
You can adjust the spiciness, there are different flavors, there are various types of rice cakes/noodles, and it's nice because it's clean.
I had a great time eating rice cakes and fried rice. I'll come again.“

“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

“The cold noodles and cheese katsu are my favorites. The service is always good, and the staff are friendly. The food consistently comes out fresh and well-prepared, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The only downside is that the parking lot is always full, so I usually have to park a bit far from the restaurant, which can be a bit inconvenient.“

“The best Tteokbokki and hot dogs in the DFW! Please never change the recipe for the tteokbokki sauce. It’s perfect! Add in some glass noodles and you’re golden. The lady in the front is always so sweet even when there’s a rush. The cheese dogs are always cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and melts on the inside. It hits every time! Wish they were closer to us!“

“Was CRAVING this since moving back to the US from korea. Wish there was more potatoes, also the waitress didn’t bring us ANY of the free traditional sides which was alittle weird because everyone else around us got it with their meal. I’m not sure if it’s cause we were the only none Korean people there, or it could’ve just been coincidence. Either way, we enjoyed our meal.“

“We've come here several times now and ZZIZIM has been consistently great every time. Their seafood and sweet potato pancakes are so good! We've also had their grilled pork belly, tofu soup with egg and seafood, and their spicy stir fried pork. Generous portions, free apps, great value for money, courteous staff/ownership. Strong recommend!!!“

“Great food! Great price! Great service! Had the Spicy Pork Bento Box, which was just spicy enough and very tasty. The teen kids had fish cake kimbap & spicy rice cakes. Everyone loved their food and the people were very friendly! Price for the 3 of us was less than $30 & I have enough Spicy pork leftover for a second meal!“

“My first visit! I called in to order, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in 25 minutes later and everything was fresh and hot! This was the best Korean BBQ fried chicken I have ever had in my lifetime! The french fries were perfect! Crispy and hot with a wonderful coating and honey butter flavor! This will be my go to place for chicken now! You can see that the staff prepare everything by hand, and the service is exceptional, love all the sauces too! Go ahead and try for yourself you will love it!“

“The side dishes are so delicious that I go here every time I go to Dallas. I really like the combination of pig’s feet and makkimchi. It’s better than the jokbal restaurant. We live in the countryside, so we buy a lot at once, and they always provide great service and are very kind. The seasoned crab sauce is delicious, so I buy it often.“

“Great service with delicious food. Portions are definitely big enough to share so don’t be spooked by the higher prices. It’s more food.
Army Stew was delicious with plenty of meat and toppings inside. LA Galbi was good too, little burnt but that’s not too bad. Will return to try more dishes!“

“Genuinely such a great spot! Its BYOB and the food is delicious. I have eaten at quite a few places in the K-town of Carrollton and these are by far the best cold noddles around. Even their hot soups were so tasty, the beef wasn't tough at all and very flavorful! Definitely grab some of their hot broth as well, that stuff will heal your soul. This will definitely be going on my favorites list. My only tiny qualm was I couldn't find the napkins haha (probably user error)!“

“Time - Sunday 12:30pm
Order - 쫄면 떡볶이
First impressions- value focused korean food, kitchen well managed, could probably do away with the booths to make room for more tables
떡볶이 was a bit salty. 쫄면 had great balance of sweet, savory, and sour. Perfect goto place if you can’t decide on a restaurant near by.“

“We have been meaning to try this place for awhile but just weren’t sure. Wow! I’m so glad we did! Everything was sooooooo good. And I do mean everything, from the wings to the whole chicken to the sides (we tried four sides and four sauces) right down to the picked radishes. The wings are thick and juicy and the crispy coating on the honey garlic wings is amazing…literally the best wings I’ve ever had. Even my brother (who hates everything) ate a whole plate and said how good it was. The staff/owners were so friendly when we went to pick up. We will definitely be returning! If you haven’t tried it yet, that is your loss! I wish I would have taken pics but we ate it all so fast, we only would have pics of empty boxes.“

“I had a river rat at home, so I ate it and it was so delicious! The assorted boiled pork, seolleongtang, and seasoned crab were crazy!!It doesn't smell at all, it's delicious, and I'll be visiting often!!All kimchi is delicious, but green onion kimchi is especially delicious? The marinated crab is tastier than the one you buy at a side dish restaurant, and there is a lot more of it!!“

“I've dined in before and I get takeout regularly. Healthy and wholesome rice porridge with a variety of different ingredients. The first time I went I was shocked by how different the chicken juk tasted compared to the vegetable juk. The broth is very high quality and there's a surprising amount of variety“

“Amazing restaurant. There is another location in Plano that is a full-service option. The location here in Carrollton is self-service but they take great care of you. The same exact quality of food as their Plano location. Make sure to ask for extra kimchi! Peter the owner is very kind and prides himself on his quality service and food.“

“This place has pretty delicious Pho for a korean take on Pho. The regular pho tastes pretty close to a traditional vietnamese pho if you ask me. I think if they had white onions instead of purple, it would take this pho to another level. Otherwise, I am pretty satisfied with this place. I’ve had the garlic pho on another occasion and think that the regular pho tops it! Overall a wonderful place for a quick lunch“

“KO! Chicken in Flower Mound really delivered a great experience. Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh and full of flavor. The mozzarella stick was super cheesy. The fried chicken is what really stood out.
The KO Spicy had the perfect amount of heat. It gave a good kick without being too much, and you can still taste all the flavor behind it. The Garlic Soy was spot on too, with that sweet and garlicky balance that keeps you reaching for another piece before you even realize it.
What made the visit even better was how kind and accommodating Chris, the owner, was. He checked on us a few times, made sure we had everything we needed and just created a really welcoming atmosphere. You can tell he genuinely cares about the food and the people coming in.
Overall, KO! Chicken is definitely a place worth visiting if you want really good fried chicken and a friendly, laid-back spot to enjoy it.“

We had noodles, meat, rice and sauce.
But if you don’t eat what you cant eat you get charged for it.

“I rarely write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one.
The jokbal here is incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — easily the best I’ve had in the area. The meat was super soft with just the right amount of fat, and it tasted fresh, not overly salty like many other places.
The side dishes were great, the portion size was huge for the price, and everything came out fast and hot. The staff were also very friendly and checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re craving authentic Korean jokbal or just want a solid meal with amazing flavor, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back again!“

“Delicious food! I got the seafood tofu soup (non spicy) and the beef bulgogi. The beef bulgogi came with a bowl of soup. Both came with 3 small sides.
Everything tasted great and the serving size was large for the price. I did wish the beef bulgogi came with rice but the tofu soup had rice and I ended up using that to eat with the beef instead.
I will definitely come back to try out more menu items.“
