Levon Juarez came to check on me and asked if there was anything wrong with the food and if everything was alright. He offered to take the food back to change it if something was wrong. When I told him I just wasn’t hungry, he made sure to pack my food up for me and checked if needed anything else and gave me a gift card which I felt so bad for because I was just having a bad day and nothing was wrong with the food. But thanks to him my bad day, became way better. He was incredibly kind and that’s just the behavior of Coco Shrimp employees. Totally worth checking out and the tacos are to die for! I always look forward to when I can go back.“

The only downside is that the parking lot is always full, so I usually have to park a bit far from the restaurant, which can be a bit inconvenient.“

“I stopped by here tonight for a light sashimi dinner. I had decided never to return due to poor service before, but I heard the ownership had changed, so I decided to give it another shot. The cashier could have been a bit more polite—it felt a bit unprofessional to take orders while texting on her phone.

I ordered the Sashimi Combo M and Mulhoe (spicy cold seafood soup). The mulhoe was perfectly seasoned, and the squid and shrimp inside were fresh and delicious. The vegetables in the mulhoe were also fresh, which added to the overall enjoyment. The sashimi combo had a generous portion, making it an amazing value for the price. The selection included salmon, flounder, sea bream, yellowtail, yellowtail belly, tuna belly, shrimp, tobiko, and octopus(I guess). Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared.

Additionally, I recently experienced another Capital Grille and found THIS location to be far and away better. Quality of food and service to be exact. The service and attention to detail is noticeably better at the Southlake location. Jena is kind, attentive, and has an unreal ability to recall drink and meal preferences. Dwayne greets everyone as though he knew you and makes you feel like you’re home.“

Let’s start with the Oyster platter.. pico was fresh and it could’ve been better with more flavor..

Next up is the Tosti-Viche - I was thinking it was okay with more salsa that they had in the buckets.. 4/5 on that one

We also ordered Tacos Governador and Fish Platter.. they were alright.

Like I said, they need more flavors and seasoning.

If you’re in the mood for live music, this could be a good option, with the only exception that you’d have to come when there’s more ambiance.

This place needs more spices and better house salsas to give their food some life.

However! There’s a photographer that took our picture and she framed it for us. That was a sweet touch!- and yes you have to pay for it.

“Probably the most picturesque place to eat tacos in North Texas.Excellent fusion style food; my personal favorite are the Thai BBQ fajitas which arrive sizzling on a cast iron griddle in a waft of aromatic smoke. “We found The Kickin’ Crab in Carrollton right before moving around the corner, and honestly, it was a great find. The food was amazing and the combos were priced really well. We ordered 3 pounds of headless shrimp with corn and potatoes. We had to substitute the sausage since we keep it halal, and they were cool about it.

The garlic noodles were really good—definitely full of flavor—but to be honest, $15 just for noodles felt a bit much. We also got an order of fries (they use the thinner kind), and a catfish basket which was solid too.

It was a little loud inside, but the service was fast and really friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, especially for a big family. We went with medium spice and it was just right—not too much, not too little.
