“We live in Hollywood Park and Purple Garlic is right in our neighborhood. This is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is so friendly and fun! It’s literally almost like Cheers “where everyone knows your name” even if you haven’t been there in a while! The food is excellent, always served fresh, extremely delicious and hot out of the oven. They have a nice wine list, but you can also bring your own vino. We’ve always had great dining experiences at Purple Garlic and that’s why it’s been so popular for all these years!“

“We had lunch with friends here today and I was blown away!!! Everything was impeccable! The service was beyond amazing and the food…..what can I say, it was AMAZING! The Insalata Caprese was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I had the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana and my husband had Fettuccine di Parma with shrimp. The portions are huge!!! Can’t wait to go back!! The owner can and visited our table as well as everyone else’s!!! This place is a must!!!“

“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. The food is truly authentic with everything being made fresh in the restaurant. If you’ve never tried it you need to give it a try. This will become a new regular spot for me.“

“First time trying this place and I’m glad that we did. The two of us got there around 4:00 for an early dinner. We were the only table for the roughly hour that we were there. The restaurant was clean, it is in need of a little updating; nothing major. Steve was our waiter and he gave us the best service that we have had in a long time. He was sincere in his actions. He made helpful suggestions on the food and he was spot on; my ice tea didn’t go empty(I drink a lot of ice tea)The food was great; everything including the salad dressing was home made. Our meal came with fresh baked rolls and a large dinner salad. I got the lasagna and it was good; literally bubbling cheese on top when it was served. It was a giant portion; I took about a third of it (and a couple dinner rolls home) and it was good the next day. We will definitely go back!“

He came in from out of town and requested the best Shrimp fettuccini Alfredo and after weeks of research we found this place. From the moment we placed our first call until we actually went to the establishment and left, everything was beyond perfect. It came with bread, dipping sauce,extra dressing and all the extras I could have taken it to the park to enjoy if it wasn’t so cold outside. 1st time ordering out has been such a positive experience I’ll definitely consider it again when I can’t get out. “Went there for dinner with our kids. Ordered a large pizza, wings (was out of the flavor we wanted) 2 Caesar salads, 2 soft drinks and 4 waters. We see 6 soft drinks on the screen and say we only wanted 2. Lady says they charge for water. 3$ for tap water? Ok fine, whatever.

Some guy brings out the 2 Caesar salads. Says something about not being able to find the dressing. Another lady comes out and says they are out of Caesar dressing and offer us other options. Pizza comes out and we ask for a side of ranch dressing. Lady looks us dead in the eyes and says they are $.99.

So after charging us $12 for tap water, messing up the Caesar salads, they now want another $1 for a tiny side of ranch dressing?

Needless to say, we will never step foot back in this place.

Edit: was contacted by the company and they made it right. Which to me, says a lot. Not many companies are willing to do that lately. Changing to 4 stars.

“Today (8/9/26) I took my mother for lunch, we were the first ones there and were immediately greeted and seated by Brandon, who was also our waiter. He was absolutely FANTASTIC! We had our drinks and food order taken quickly and never had to ask for a refill. We also had a special request to have my mother’s fettuccine pasta cut into smaller bites (she has a disability) and not only was that accommodated but the chef took it a step further and even made sure to cut her chicken into bite sizes as well🖤 my mother appreciated that kind gesture, the manager (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name) was also very kind and welcoming. We were having a pretty good day already, but the experience we had here today magnified it! We want to sincerely thank the staff for the phenomenal service today! Can’t wait to come back!“

“We frequently go to the SILO on 1604 for birthdays and anniversaries. Over recent years the quality of service and food has been remarkably excellent. Arriving early for our Sunday reservation, we spent time at the NONNA bar. Our bartender was Gabrielle. What a wonderful young lady. She made me the best “personalized” vodka martini I’ve had in years. Kudos to Gabrielle!“

“Initially I went to grimaldis and waited for 20 minutes with no service. Mind you I only have 45 minutes for lunch. I walked over, was greeted immediately, given a table, ordered, had hot fresh baked bread come out to my table, my order followed about 5 minutes after!
