“The food was excellent but don't save space for a dessert. Eat all your great food because desserts are Only $10 which sounds like a deal but you only get 2 or 3 bites. It is really a shame because the food is great so you would think the desserts would be too!!!! I personally felt a little rushed by the wait staff and the waitress even told us she had another table and had to hurry off.“

“I recently hired Gator's Bar and Grill to cater a small private party held on Tiki Island. Gator's owner, Marjorie Morgan was awesome to work with. Her and her team are experts when it comes to catering. I asked for a more upscale menu palate. I know, most think of Gator's as a casual dining experience but Marjorie and Chef Lena delivered exactly what I was thinking. From the initial contact, to the location walk through, the meal prep, table set up and then the meal served, they made it stress free. I asked for a girly salad- a strawberry, walnut spinach with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. The main course was grilled 6 oz beef tenderloin filets- grilled on site with a yummy garlic parmesan potatoes with a creamy peppercorn sauce and sauté asparagus. Dessert was a cheesecake mousse. It was all fantastic. Dinner was planned to be served outside with a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the lovely coastal sea fog rolled in just as Dinner was to be served. Marjorie and her staff quickly switched gears and flawlessly moved main course inside. Our guests were very impressed with how they perfectly executed all of our requests. If you are thinking of catering an event, Marjorie and Chef Lena are who you should call. Don't let her restuarant name fool you into thinking they only do bar food. They were a class act that will rival any high end restuarant. Thanks again, Marjorie, Chef Lena, Corey and Keith. You all made our small event a success“

“Despite a terrible experience I had at this restaurant from a very horrible waitress with a nasty attitude, the manager, Charlie Bowie really stepped in and took the correct approach necessary to resolve this issue for me and took it in consideration that something like this would never happen again. Based on my conversation with him, he really values customer service. Which makes me want to go back and eat there again in the near future. This is exactly the kind of mindset every managers and business owners should portray and I comment Topwater Grill to have this kind of management. Thanks so much! “I went to Manhattan in May and went to about 25 of the top pizza places. Village Pizza sits along those easily. It has such a distinct flavor I guess I can understand why someone wouldn't like it. I guess. But man is it spectacular. Is it greasy? Yep. But something about it is just amazing. I would love to try other toppings, but unfortunately he plain peperonni is so good, I just have to get that everytime. The greek salad is also hands down the best salad I have ever had in my life. A great deal too. Also, if you have never tried the cheeseburger sub, then you are missing out. its so good, i cant even describe it. Try it. then buy it 100 more times. It that good. “I have seen four bad reviews.I think they must be talking about another place.We started going there a little over two years ago.We eat there at least once a week,sometimes twice and not on ce was there a bad meal.They have had a little trouble with Chefs as the one who had been there a long time,who.drove from Galveston every daY, left early this year He was great.The other Chef who came was ok but not successful and did not last long and I do not know if they have another permanent Chef or if the Chef's assistants are doing it at the moment.Whatever the food is always good and plenty and they have 22 beers on drought and offers on drin ks and food every day.Food is served until 10pm every night except Fri and SaT when it is 11pm aNd they are open until midnight every day except Fri and SsturdaY when it is 1am.The staff are great and the Customers are great. We have made at least 20good friends and I mean Good friends who are now close friends ,since going there.If you want grest food,great.drinks,meet nice people,this is the place.I always saY there is always an ear that will.listen and someone to laugh with.I do not understand the bad reviews of whic h I saw only four going bac to20 21.This is NOT this place.“

“I have been eating here for so many years. The Best Catfish in the Greater Houston/Galveston area. I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." A MUST when in the area or traveling to Galveston. 5 stars all the way...they treat you like family.“

We told the cashier and she was not receptive, just took our money. There didn't seem to be a manager or owner available for us to talk to. We will not be back and will certainly spread this news!“

“I had a little bit of a discrepancy with my tab and I kinda felt mad and was ready to not come back even though ive been coming here since the bar was in the front room with the fish tank. The manager Mr. Brandon not only fixed the problem accordingly and professionally but he actually made me feel better than I did when I walked in. He was perfect and he does ab excellent job.
