“For the amount of employees that were working and the amount of customers they had in their hands on a Friday night the food was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Cynthia was extremely kind providing such amazing customer service She had the patience to help me navigate through the menu as it was my first time here. It was a little wait to get my order but She was amazing for helping out i loved this place! Will definitely come back !!“

“I’m not sure that I could recommend this place. The food was good, however I was with my 5yr old daughter and really felt like we were rushed. I understand we can’t possible order up a tab that much but we surely didn’t deserve to feel rushed. We split a salad and the meatballs. The main dish came out literally 2 mins after receiving the salad. I don’t know about this place. Slow it down.“

Hot was pretty spicy if you like drinking lots of water and too much pickle taste. Medium was perfect, not too hot, similar to wingstop mild. Would recommend if you like hot chicken“

“Doctor appointments in Houston mean trying new places! We've been looking forward to trying Pok Pok Po for a few weeks since we saw Shawn the Food Sheep's video review. It did not disappoint! This is the best chicken ever! Look at the seasoning on those fries! My chicken sandwich had an amazing sauce and kimchi on it. Caleb had the chicken nugget basmati rice bowl with kimchi. The side sauces are to die for, and perfectly complemented all we had. PLOT TWIST-- there are two concepts kitchens in one store front!! Pok pok Po shares a space and is the same company/chef as Bōl--a Chipoltle-style Indian food concept. We were able to try a wide sample of their fares including the rice, lamb, cauliflower, potatoes, paneer, pickled onions, avocados, and cucumber salad, airy potatoes crisps, mango Lassi, and samosa. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Staff, manager, and chef take pride in their establishment and value the experience of the customer. Everything there is gluten free (except the burger bun--but make it a wrap or a salad!) And halal, and the chicken is anibiotic free. Everything was spotless, bathrooms were nice and big.Free parking!“

“I ordered the flautas meal. It has 5 flautas and 2 sides of your choice. I got refried beans and rice. The rice was a little too salty to me but the beans were perfect consistency and had a good taste. The flautas were tasty and the sour cream lettuce and cheese topping were a perfect addition.“

“We ordered the spicy galbi wings, galbi wings, Cole slaw, sweet potato fries, fried dumplings. This was our first time eating at this location. We’ve eaten at bbq Korean chicken in Austin, Katy, and in the Houston area. Their wings never fail. You can taste their freshness (not the reheated taste)and they are served hot. They’re crispy and the galbi sauce is delicious. The sweet potato fries could’ve been crispy and less burnt. The fried dumplings had great taste and they were fried just right! And oh!! They have Soju!!🥳“

One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? “This place is close to my parents' house. It wasn't my first time there . I had purchased a maracuya drink and a coconut flan before. The drink was delicious and refreshing. The coconut flan was delectable. Yesterday, I purchased a blackberry drink plus two sides. The drink was delicious and you can tell them how sweet you want it. They don't have many vegetarian items; however, I ordered fried plantains and rice with beans. I had the small portions. I found the beans salty, and that's why I took a star off. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly.“

“You know something? I'm born and raised in Texas, and I was always used to KFC, Popeyes, and so on. None of them compare to Jollibee, and I am being so serious on saying that. The chicken is FRESH, and they have so many tasty options to choose from. That peach mango pie? Dear lord.... it's so good, and I'm not a pie person! I'm happy I tried it. Last thing—the staff is very friendly, courteous, and ACCESSIBLE. We need more of this everywhere.
