“We enjoyed our first experience here, very nice ambience for a fine dining, delicious filet mignon steaks and our daughters love the classic Mac and cheese and the chocolate cake desserts. The price we pay is nothing compared to the very professional and wonderful service we received that I didn’t think twice giving additional tip. Did not regret celebrating my wife’s birthday here.“

“We enjoyed an incredible dinner at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse on Westheimer Road in Houston. The ambiance was refined and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable evening; though the lively atmosphere made it a bit noisy at times. We both opted for the 8 oz filet mignon paired with au gratin potatoes, and every bite was outstanding. The steak was exceptionally tender, bursting with rich, savory flavor, while the potatoes were decadently cheesy and the perfect complement. To finish, we shared a slice of key lime pie, which struck the ideal balance between tart and sweet. Our waitress was fantastic—warm, attentive, and instrumental in making the experience even more enjoyable. From start to finish, it was a top-tier dining experience!“

“We have gone to Doris many times. Tonight was a curiously off night for service. Our server was too absent. We once thought about sending a get well card. I had to ask to order wine after the wine list was taken away without taking our order. Then the completely wrong wine was brought, even after I spelled out the wine,Tor. Food was great. I think it was an off night. We will still frequent Doris. It has always provided innovation and excellence in their food experience.“

“HOLY SMOKES! The dinner menu here is AMAZING. We came with friends and tried so many dishes and truly they were all so good, I was blown away. The mashed potatoes are the best I’ve ever had!!! Short rib French fries Short rib grilled cheese Salmon Chicken Caesar family Mac and Cheese Steak with Chimichurri Literally everything was so so good!!! Also the team here is so fun and nice. We have loved coming here for drinks — but I hadn’t come for full dinner until tonight and I think this is going to be a new staple in our date nights!!!! — BUT ALSO THEY HAVE MOVIE NIGHTS FOR KIDS ON WEDNESDAYS!!!“

“Food was great. I don't think we had or saw one bad dish. Everything looked amazing and we were a party of 7 so there was a lot of variety.
Music is a bit loud and it was a bit dark. Great for people who like that atmosphere but not my cup of tea.

“Service was pretty slow. Took 20 mins to get the beverages we ordered. We did have water at the table. Had to ask a few times for the same thing and server would forget. Food was delicious! The oysters and steak were on point. The live music was great too.“

“I was recommended to go to Haii Kei by Rosie from the C. Baldwin Hotel after I told her I was looking for a really good steak, and she was absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, the place had a great vibe. The atmosphere was beautiful, modern but relaxed, and the energy in the room just felt right.
The drinks were on point, especially the Ube Espresso Martini… it was phenomenal. For dinner, I had the Wangyu Steak and the Thai Shrimp, and both were outstanding. We finished it off with the Ube Cheesecake (picture below), which was the perfect ending.
But what really blew me away was the service. Our server, Monsarrat, was incredible. We even told her at the table how good of a job she was doing. The attention to detail, timing, and genuine conversation made the whole night feel special.
Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Updated- I was able to try the “new” Andiron recently. The menu is a bit different. Gone are the expensive Wagyu meats and some new items have been added. Fortunately, the space kept its classic elegance and much of the same great staff remains. The martinis are still the best. I wouldn’t say the place is much less expensive but there are more options at a fair price for the quality and service. I had the market fish with a green pea hummus and curry sauce. The Caesar salad was delightfully unique with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan and a hint of citrus zest. This place is still one of my favorites in town. AND they still have their happy hour, a great way to give them a try.“

“We popped in tonight for a little bit of a midweek date night expecting the typical Perry's nicer dining experience, and originally planned on ordering the prime rib.
Wow was I wrong.
Apparently they added Beef Wellington to their menu a little while back. Me being the fat kid I am, I immediately began salivating.
Being a huge fan of a well prepared Welly, I've eaten them at more than a few dozen 5 star restaurants, many headed by big name chefs.
I can say hands down, this is the best damned Beef Wellington I've ever had.
The filet was a perfect medium rare, the mushroom chicken duxelle with a hint of horseradish was superior, but the absolute showstopper was the pastry. Light, fluffy, but crisp enough you hear the distinct crack with each slice.
As outstanding as my meal was, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the perfect service we received from our host, David Corzo.
He was very friendly, charming personality, engaging, and quite knowledgeable on the menu. I know these sound like basic skills for the service industry, but let me assure you, they are extremely rare today.

“Haven’t been to a Longhorn in a couple years and tonight was nothing short from perfect.
Antonio was super professional and handled his section and the bar with precision.
Food was exceptional had the 12oz ribeye medium rare cooked perfectly, added the shrimp, loaded baked potato and crispy Brussel sprouts. And to complement the meal I enjoyed the dragon fruit margarita.!

“This is for the Spanish Fort, AL location I should preface this with I have NEVER had a good experience here, but for some unknown reason my son likes it so that is where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner tonight. My experience with this specific Logans started in 2020 when we accidentally left our son's birthday gifts (a $50 xbox gift card and a game)in the gift bag at the table. Realizing it about 3 mins down the road, we turned around. Husband stated we left it, and they said that we must not have bc it wasnt at the table Well. My husband saw the envelope and the empty gift bag in the trash...so, not sure how they told us that they didnt have it. But I digress. We have returned every year for whatever his special dinner was. Birthday, graduation, whatever. Its his place. Every year either something is cooked incorrectly. Or missing. It literally has been without fail. Every. Single. Year. Tonight was the last straw. I ordered the 6oz sirloin, med rare, garlic butter, ceasar salad. and mashed potatos. Husband got Cajun pasta and garlic bead Son got the long horn. Medium. Apples and Mac n cheese. First issue, no silverware. We were asked if we wanted rolls, we said yes. Then my son asked for silverware after she placed them down. Over 5 mins later. We got the silverware. My meal started with the salad. Sans croutons, add extra extra dressing. Not by my choice, but by whoever put it on the plate. I asked for the croutons that are supposed to come on the salad and she just goes "yeah" and brings them a few mins later. Whatever. Stuff happens. I mean. I dont think id forget to add croutons to a ceasar salad, but again. I digress. Our food comes out. My steak and mashed potatos are both cold. Like, not could be just a preference cold...but like, cold cold. To the touch. This is amazing considering it was the texture of a hockey puck and looked like it had been boiled. The underside had so much liquid coming off of it (im guessing oil) that it saturated the steak and invaded my mashed potatos. The steak was grey on the bottom with no sear. How? The garlic butter looked like it had coagulated at some point and was half melted and half grainy. Also, so much garlic it was overpowering. I can eat raw garlic so do with that what you will. My son's medium steak was also cold and over cooked. I told them I didnt want anything..I didnt even want it refired and to take it off. My son got his refired. At MEDIUM....over 20 mins later, and after my husband was done eating, he got his steak. My husband's meal was cold, but he won't say anything. I could tell by looking at it it was room temp at best. However. The real disgrace was the garlic bread. It was a stale roll with some butter (not even covering the whole roll) and some mozzarella cheese. You could make out the individual shreds of cheese. Like, visibly see where they were. Its like it kind of melted and they said ok...good job. Serve it. The waitress never offered to send a manager over. She just asked if I was sure I didnt want anything else and went along. She did apologize for the length of time that it took for my son's refire. I will never go back to this restaurant. Not just this location, the whole chain. Oh, did I mention it was NOT busy and we were in ther over 90 mins? This is not how you do business. Something needs to be looked at and reevaluated with how they train the employees and the employees they have“

“I visited last night with another couple for dinner. It is located in the Galleria area and they offer valet parking for $5 which is better than msot valet options in Houston. I read on previous reviews that there is free parking toward the back or next door but with the weather in the 30's by the tme we left that wasnt an option for us.
We had a reservation for 7:30 pm and we arrived @ 7:15 pm. We checked in and waited and waited, finally after 35 minutes we were seated. Now granted the restaurant was busy but if we arrived 35 minutes after our reservation time, I'm sure there would have been a problem for us but.... that was the only negative.
We both placed orders for a variety of menu items. First they brought out bread with butter which was excellent and we ordered several more times. My wife and I both had the Steak salad, the 6 oz. Filet & Shrimp and she had creamed spinach and I garlic mashed potatoes and we both had the cheesecake for dessert.
Our guest both had the Caesar salad, Salmon & shrimp, creamed spinach and cheesecake for dessert.
The food was excellent for us and our guest. Stefan was our waiter and he did a very good job. We all left full and with to go bags. This was a special until 2/8 for $60 per person. If you are interested to go, please get reservations, I think it would be extremely difficult to walk in.“

“AWESOME RESTAURANT!!! We haven't had anything we didn't think was good. Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Fresh Iced Tea, Nilgai Steak, Sweet Potato, House Salad, Caesar Salad, Bloody Mary's, Big Country Breakfast, Burger and Fries and the Grilled Chicken/house Salad Entree! They are accompanied by 3 sauces: velvety Truffle Merlot Demiglace, with its luxurious depth of flavor, or the bold and peppery Peppercorn Reduction sauce, and a homemade bearnaise. I will say the Truffle Merlot Demiglace was amazing. Surprisingly, their signature homemade bearnaise was a flop. I told the waiter, and he went to the back to try it. “I can’t brag enough about this restaurant as far as the food tasting. I usually start off with an appetizer - Parmesan Mushrooms. I also order the Crusted Parmesan Chicken and a side Strawberry Pecan salad as my meal. To die for! This salad is one of the best tasting salads I eat. Love, love this place. Even the bread is so yummy. I got my mother hooked on this restaurant and now she too enjoys it. Couldn’t ask for a better day out when you have your mother, the love of your life, as well as the company of great food, it just makes for a perfect day out!“
