Tree Garden Reviews
Great traditional style Korean food. Booths and private rooms.
Went to visit Houston for a work trip and stopped by here with some coworkers. Outside of the restaurant was unassuming, but I knew as soon as we walked in that this was an older establishment that offered more authentic, rustic, and home style Korean food. I was pleasantly surprised by the bulgogi, spicy chicken stew, spicy stir fried chicken breast, and banchan - all like the kind of food my mother would have cooked. We loved it. We would definitely go back whenever we wanted...read full review
The food was absolutely good - very authentic Korean food, our server was kind and friendly, asked us whether we need more sides (they actually have 6 type of sides). We ordered the weekday lunch special - shredded beef and vegetables soup and the norwegian mackerel (which comes with a soup as well!) Both are very good. Will come back for sure👍

Tree Garden is a Korean restaurant that provides a delightful dining experience. Customers often commend the welcoming staff, quick service, and generous portions of delicious dishes, including bibimbap, Korean dumplings, and traditional Korean BBQ. Guests particularly enjoy the Galbi meat, which is tender and full of flavor, complemented by fresh banchan side dishes. The restaurant has many vegetarian-friendly options; however, those with a plant-based diet may find choices limited beyond the side dishes. Tree Garden is open until midnight, making it a great option for a hearty meal late at night. While some reviews mention that the prices can be high, nearly $40 for an order of Kalbi, the unique offerings like the Seafood Pancake and the generous portions of Seafood Pure Tofu Hot Pot make it a noteworthy spot. The Seafood Pancake is described as perfectly crispy with a good amount of seafood, and the Marinated Beef Short Ribs w/buckwheat noodles is highly recommended for its satisfying flavors and refreshing touch from Asian pear. Although some side dishes may not impress, the sweetened rice water, Sikhye, served after the meal is a delightful touch. The service is praised for being friendly, and the quality of the meat is noted as excellent, making it a popular choice for authentic Korean food.
