Great songs to dance to, it was our first time and we felt very welcomed by some of the staff and even some of the regulars from the moment we walked in. Be prepared to bring cash for cover charge or you can pay with credit card at the bar (additional $3 fee for credit card charges). There is also a charge for bottled water- not thrilled about that. This lovely little gem is a true OLD-school country western bar. It’s locally owned and the regulars have been regular for decades. They play only country music, have sawdust on the floor for boot-scootin’ and the drinks are reasonable. It’s not fancy. It’s just perfect.

We went to see the Hit-n-Run band. Westwind has a decent dance floor in the center of the building, plus a DJ when the band isn't playing. There was a $12.00 cover charge, and most of the seats were reserved. There isn't any food served, but they have a nice variety of beer, seltzer, soft drinks, etc. I have seen pool tables, but nobody plays them while I'm there.
