“4/19/25. The general manager, Ish, is a treasure! I have never seen a manager more engaged with the customers and his staff. He seated us and took our drink order and stopped by several times to check on us. You could tell how much he is loved by all the customers greeting him with hugs. He is always impeccably dressed and his signature hair is fabulous. We were seated by the bar and I’ve never seen a more efficient group behind the bar. The bartender was making multiple drinks from the extensive drink menu with ease. His bar back was on top of it as well. We only wish we were closer (we’re north of Denton) to go more often instead of just when the Dallas Stars are playing.“

“Great food at the new location at Cypress Waters. Terrific hospitality- we enjoyed meeting Miriam herself as she came to greet us. Food is mild but flavorful. My favorite is the pork belly taco I got on the sampler plate. My husband enjoyed the short rib tacos as well. Ample portions as well.“

Their crunchy tacos were a highlight when we visited them and they have one of the biggest menus among vegan restaurants in the metroplex while still staying within the same food category. That means you will have plenty of options when it comes to vegan mexican themed food!“

“Food is absolutely delicious, I have to add that portions sizes are big where you will feel satiated after you are done eating, also, they are not stingy with the ingredients, I ordered an spaghetti with shrimp and received a plate FULL of shrimp, I have visited other restaurants and asked for the same and they serve you literally 5-6 shrimps, but not here, 5 out of 5 definitely recommend!“

“Food is very good burritos are delicious in house flower tortillas compliment the food. Sadly they charge for hot sauce $3 but give you tomato souce no spice. That ruins the experience. 10th time I've refrain from eating here . But good eatery. But we shouldn't have to pay for SALSA. 4 stars SALSA issue.“

Lulu's is one of those hidden hole-in-the-wall restaurants that feels like a true local treasure.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and family-oriented, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. It has the kind of friendly environment that makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal.
The food is well prepared and full of flavor, with a homemade quality that keeps customers coming back. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

“Cash or Zelle only. Good thing I stopped. It was really good. Satisfying portions. I ordered the Sopes, and they were made perfect. One Sope de carnitas (pulled pork), which was seasoned very well. Fajita one was also good. Topped off with fresh ingredients. My sis had the quesadilla de al pastor and it looked big and delicious. I'm gonna go back and run thru the menu. Horchata to drink was on point too.“

“Everything on this plate was a 10/10! The fajitas were perfectly charred with plenty of grilled onions and peppers, and that sauce on top added the perfect kick. You can tell the refried beans and Spanish rice are authentic not just side thoughts. The corn tortillas were warm and held everything together perfectly.
