“Al Biernat's North needs no introduction. It carries a reputation for top-notch food and a dining experience orchestrated by an attentive staff. But this latest visit was especially gratifying for us because, well, it essentially was a "break glass in case of emergency" moment. Long story short, our original plans this evening fell apart at the very last minute. (Without naming names, let's just say there's a particular steakhouse and seafood destination in Addison that might want to take a closer look at their reservation-booking software... but I digress.) We knew Al Biernat's North was less than two miles away and we decided to try our luck at getting a table. Now, even though we were last at this Al Biernat's six days ago, their menu is so varied, their service is so refined and the atmosphere is so invigorating, that we did not mind coming here twice in the same week. Quite the contrary; we were jazzed to be able to do so. Because, really, the fantastic service starts from the minute you walk in the door. I've commented on the front desk staff before but it bears repeating that they are quite excellent in greeting guests and providing an awesome "first impression" for everyone walking through the door. We were also quite fortunate to be seated with Tanner, who remains an absolute marvel of a server. Quick with the service and able to project a positivity that could fill the entire Owl Room (which, by the way, having never been seated in the Owl Room until now... I really dig it!), Tanner continues to be an essential member of the Al Biernat's North team. Sincerest thanks and appreciation to the team here for not only rescuing our evening plans, but for also making for an exceptional night out. (And shout out to Tanner for suggesting to take the remains of my Steak Miguel to go - that stuff was delicious the next day at breakfast!)“

“Great location for a large group or couples dinner. The service team was on point and made the evening very enjoyable. The appetizers scallops were amazing, the calamari was buttery and seasoned perfectly. The wine selection is good. The steaks were good but lacked tenderness and seasoning. Might have been an off evening as it wasnt the same delicious steaks as previous evenings.
Our waiter was amazing and provided everything needed for a fun time for our group of 10. Deserts were over the top. Huge portions and delicious.

“Christian our server was absolutely amazing! The ambiance, decor, vibe and music were all on point. Appetizers didn't disappoint with the cheesesteak bites and rolls. The peppers with the cheesesteak rolls was brilliant! The dips (our fave was the salted caramel) were so whipped they make cool whip seem rough. Amazing! So delicious. My anniversary date had the seafood bisque and said it was the best she'd ever had which is hundreds of bowls from different restaurants around the globe...yes she's an expert on bisque. I had the vodka rigatoni she had the lobster linguini. She absolutely loved hers, I just liked mine a little. More on that. Toffee cake for dessert and our special coconut sundae was amazing as well (thank you for that!). Only thing not giving the entire experience top reviews is my dish. The rigatoni was very soft, like it was cooked too long as it shredded when I stabbed it with my fork. The sauce was spicy, yet too sweet. Don't get me wrong I love sweet, and a balance of the two in a pasta dish sounded just amazing. The chipotle flavor was strong enough but the sweetness overpowered the dish and IMO could use some toning down. It could practically be a dessert pasta it was so sweet. The Ruby room was a vibe for sure-perfect blend of music, atmosphere, lush drapes and booths with sexy staff going by you'd think you're in a speakeasy. Definitely a great date spot but not for business as the music was pumping. I can't wait to come back and try the steak frites-that's what I was going to get. And for my beautiful date? She just wants to put this meal on repeat! Thank you.“

“Omg I have found my new spot. Absolutely amazing and the ambiance was so pleasing. I needed a reset and today was only Tuesday. I went to Yard House after work just to grab a drink and enjoy a quick Happy hour. Let me tell you, I am telling everyone about this place. I walked in at about 4:40. I was sat immediately and given a menu. I ordered from the Happy hour menu. I got the Nachos and chicken (see photo). Omg everything was so fresh. Music was good and I will definitely be back. Hefty portions and again so delicious. This place is a must try. A quick meet up during the week or just a reset from a long week. Again, I will be a regular here❤️

“Zeke was our server (again), and he went above and beyond, making us feel right at home. Food was terrific, as always. Husband had the Kansas Steak, I had the filet steak, (both cooked to perfection) and kids both got the salmon. The star of the night were the Truffle Fries and Mac and Cheese. Don't forget to order that if your kids are under 15.. they'll love it!“

“Drakes hollywood was amazing! Went for our anniversary & had a great night. Our server was Louis (sp?) , who was fast, attentive, and nice. The food was great, my fiancé got the parmesan crusted fish dish, I went for the A5 Japanese wagyu & lobster mac which was all delicious. Would definitely come again.“

“We received great service and the food was tasty and properly repared. The only issue we all had was the live music band in the lounge area. The volume was near deafening in the dining area which was really off-putting. I cant imagine how loud it must have been in the lounge but there was absolutely no point to having it this loud. It is Lounge music - it should be there as a background to casual conversation, not a concert show. This can easily be addressed and I hope it is.“

“First of all its always been on my bucketlist to eat at Saltgrass. How many times did I ever ask my husband to take me there ( I lost freakin count). None the less my liddo sister Christel Rios brought me on a runaway short trip from Wichita Falls Tx to Dallas Tx to visit family and then we ended up in Grapevine Tx on our way home and stopped to finally eat here at Saltgrass. We entered in and had might I ask, where was the hostess with the mostess to greet us? However, we were finally seen and seated. The lovely gentleman sat us as we told him that it was our first time eating there. I was sooooo excited. So he sat us down.....its beautiful inside. Couldnt keep my off of everything in there....its like a scene from thw WILD WEST. Well moving on, our waiter was Matthew, he was AMAZINGGGGG to us! 🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and so on for stars. He made us feel so at home. He gave us alot of positive info about the restaurant. Great job Matthew. Now not to be mean but the starter bread and butter was not the best. The bread tasted stale like days old bread. However everything else was FANTASTIC!! CHEERS for Matthew. Give that boy a raise!! Definately coming back with my posse next time!
