“Truly one of the best steakhouse experiences I've had. The bread, the food, the wine, the steaks, the ambience, the service, everything.

The sommelier recommended a wine that blew us away. After our dinner I went online to try and find another bottle because it was so good and it didn't exist anywhere! Pretty cool to get a bottle of something you can't just find easily online.

The food was perfection. I had Del Frisco's two weeks prior and Pappas Bros blows them out of the water. Every aspect is better and the pricing is virtually identical.

This will forever be our special dinner spot.“

“The evening was outstanding! When we arrived for our anniversary celebration, the host, gave us a “happy anniversary” greeting. There was an additional anniversary gift on the table when we were seated. Monte and several managers made their way to our table through out the night to wish us well. Juan Perez was an impeccable server! He was very timely, anticipated our needs at each course, and was perfect with wine service. The food was outstanding ! The ribeye and veal chop were cooked perfectly, the extra sides of creamed spinach and mushrooms were amazing! It was a fabulous night! Thank you for the memorable evening!“

“It’s always a special treat eating at Café Pacific. Their offerings are plentiful and everything is so fresh. The waiters are unparalleled. I dropped my napkin on the floor and a gentleman came out of nowhere with a new one to replace it. Exceptional service. Amazing artisanal cocktails. My old fashioned and Gibson martini were excellent. The sea bass and red snapper were excellent. Even the dressing on the Caesar salad was on point. Wonderful experience and definitely one of my fave places for fine dining.“

“We had to find someone to take our drink order. Eventually orders were taken and service picked up. The buffet was delicious however the dessert station was lacking and cheepish. This brunch cost my family of eight which included three children over $600. We were with family and that's what matters. But they could have done better. Lastly the greeters at the entrance were fantastic, friendly and helpful.“

We were told to try the Artisanal cheese board to start.. when Joe brought it to us the description of each item was well worth the price ... AMAZING way to start dinner.. the wife had the bone-in Tenderloin and I had the Delmonico Ribeye.. both were excellent and cooked to perfection.. Keith the bartender was super helpful, a great guy was a perfect conversationalist... it was our Anniversary trip and he also made sure we tried an chocolate apple desert that topped the evening off.. WOW.... this is a great restaurant but what makes it extra special is the people that work here !! “Went last last night for my girlfriends birthday. It was a great atmosphere with beautiful art deco style interior. I got a little overzealous and didn't get as many pics of the food as I would have liked, but everything was great. We had the wagyu dumplings as our appetizer, which were so delicious. Sides were the brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes which we could not stop eating. For our mains we did the 16 oz dry aged strip and the scallops as well as all the dipping sauces. Trying the stake with all the sauces was a fun and delicious was to eat the stake. The scallops were perfect and the bed of veggies was so freaking good, especially the bokchoy. To end things we got the Earl grey crème brûlée which could have had a thicker crust but was a nice way to end the meal. The staff was professional and very attentive, it felt a bit weird when they plated our sides at the table, but it was a nice experience and I guess is just a bit fancier than I'm personally used to. All in all I highly recommend a visit.

“This once was a favorite restaurant for me but sadly its seen better days, I built a lot of memories here. But this evening was the most horrible restaurant experience that I have ever had in all of Dallas. The manager by the name of XAVIER half way into our meal stated that DRAKES by order of the owner HUNTER POND has a time limit in their dining experience. XAVIER was rude, hurried and condescending while there were several empty tables on a wednesday night He obviously knows nothing about customer service but was evidently made a manager by Mr Pond because he drives the numbers by chasing guests out of the restaurant to create capacity. The quality of the food has gone down substantially and the management in place knows nothing about quality service. Going out to dinner and spending a considerable amount of money should not be accompanied by rude uncouth service in the most hurried manner and complimented with very mediocre food and terrible service. I would not recommend this restaurant at any level. I am personally very sad to see Drakes in this light. I would like a personal call from Mr. Pond himself. Service: 0 Food: Mediocre“

“Truly, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I went to Stillwells for my 31st birthday with my boyfriend. From the beginning, they made sure to make me feel special, writing a writing a custom card, giving us a dessert to take him, and even giving me a blanket because I was a bit cold in the restaurant! We both ordered filet mignon, and they were cooked perfectly. The side dishes and deviled eggs as an appetizer were just as good. Servers, and the manager frequently stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend for any special occasion or upscale dining experience.“
